- Using the Werk Brau grading rake to remove shrubs. This is a repeat customer of mine and he is needing the driveway regraded and some shrubs taken out. I brought the grading rake with me help speed up ripping the shrubs out. I got all the shrubs and trees he wanted out first then worked on smoothing out the driveway. Thanks for watching! #EliteEarthworks #Takeuchi #WerkBrau
I laughed when I heard the train ans wondered if it was using the spur that wasn’t used that often….😅 and there it was! Lol
🤣 that’s the same thing I thought of course it was busy after I said it never shows up
I've always been impressed with the Werk Brau rake.
Great attachment for your business.
I have too it’s definitely a useful attachment
I have the 18" one with 3 tines on a kx 040 and I like it a lot, only problem is when you dig dirt with it the dirt doesn't always exit cleanly.@@eliteearthworksllc
Your machines look like an extension of your hands and arms. You make it look effortless. Great job Brandon.
Thank you! I appreciate that!
Love it! I always enjoy when the skid steer is used to grade! The MJ of grading is back at it again!
Thank you! 😁
Love the camera view on the skid steer.... That is the best angle to enjoy!
Thank you!
That rake does a great job. looks well built and strong .. that made it look a lot better
It’s a great attachment well built for sure. Thank you!
You are going to love the new bed with a high lift gate,Job is looking good.
I can’t wait it will be so nice
Great little video as always,I see your OCD kicks in no matter what the project is.beautiful homestead.just keep doing what you do best 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Thank you! Yes it does lol
Rake makes quick work 💪
Yes it does!
I remember when you did this driveway before it’s nice you got to come back and do more for the place keeep up the great work
I agree I like the repeat customers
@@eliteearthworksllcalways the best
Sometimes subtracting is adding! Getting rid of the dead shrubs makes the place look much better!
I totally agree. Really cleaned it up
The claw worked good on the gnarly bushes. The Takeuchi 260 still looks new. By the way, I still think your old GMC looks cool. Kind of sad to see it go.
It’s great for them. Thanks! I recently washed and waxed it again. I’ve still got the duramax now I’m in no hurry to sell. I still drive it some days lol
Truck is looking and sounds great
Thanks man!
Very nice results.
You do a great job!
Thank you! I appreciate that!
I was noticing there were times when a full width thumb would have been handy. And other times where it would have gotten in the way. I think that narrow one you have is the best overall, for the jobs you were doing.
Those evergreens are so brittle. They just cracked up like toothpicks.
That was the a nice little day job…. Paid the bills!
I wish I had the wider thumb but when I ordered the machine the salesman put the wrong one on it and I’ve never taken the time to change it. It works overall but still annoys me at times lol
Pete sounds good. 💪💪💪 . Easy day for a change 🍺🍺🍺
Thank you! I love how that turbo sounds
@@eliteearthworksllcTurbo does sound good. The 18A I used to run had that same sound and was a big turbo..
@@markkenes4848 nice! I love listening to the turbo
Great job 👍🏻
Thanks!
@@eliteearthworksllc no problem 😊
That Werk Brau grading rake is pretty cool. Definitely worth the money. I’m going to look into one when I get a mini excavator soon. Is yours quick disconnect or how does it come on and off?
It’s a handy attachment. It’s a quick disconnect so it’s really easy to change attachments
@@eliteearthworksllc that’s awesome. Thanks Brandon
@@georgeenriquez612 you’re welcome
I really enjoyed the content
Thank you! Appreciate you watching
I have several of those SHRUBS around my 4 decorative pole light in the driveway. Took them a couple years but *THEY GREW* and I keep them trimmed (LOL) but hey they are green in the winter or turn brown. Next time you're out this way I'll (pay) & let you have at them. Then you'll be only a couple 3 hours from the *DIRT BOSS* coffees?
They do get big once they take off. That sounds like fun to me 😁
Those were junipers - nasty, spiky, itchy junipers. Even though you didn’t have to touch them - It would have been nice for ya if the were taxus/yews!
Junipers yes I couldn’t think of the word then 🤣 yes that would have been nice
We haven't seen the rake show up in a while. That's the only way to trim bushes! Lol
I haven’t used it in over a year I bet lol it was pretty rusty
That Peterbilt has a lift-axel? I missed that, when did that happen? Was it magic? How much does it weight? In Missouri how much additional weight does it add to your haul weight?
In my area yard waste/green stuff - they charge $55 a ton at the landfill or $20 per ton at a recycle place.
I did it last summer. It’s a 13,200lb steerable axle. The truck now weighs 24,500lbs total. I’m not really sure how much more I can legally haul maybe 4 tons more. I really just wanted it for the look 🤣 This site is free to dump limbs trees at
I do remember you doing this job - looked it up and you were right - it was 11/19/2019 I believe. How time flies when you're having fun - it seems like just a few months ago and how times have changed. But this time we had the bunny wabbit and the train for company. Did that train come by twice? Once when you filmed it and once when you were at the driveway entrance?
Wow it has been awhile lol! I did see the rabbit and the train came by twice that day. Busy train day lol
How much that grading rake cost?
It was $1850 back in 2020 im sure it’s more now
I recently bought a 370 and looking to add a rake to the arsenal. Would you suggest a 36” or 48”?
Nice! I went with a 36” so I could easily rake between things and or if I’m pulling shrubs out along a house it seems to fit easier. At least that was my thought process
@@eliteearthworksllcyeah, kinda what I was thinking. 48” on that size machine seems a too much.
Thanks for the insight! Keep up the great work!
@@jdq79 you’re welcome!
I think I herd a train lol
🤣
