  • Gunung Yong Belar is a mountain on the border of the states Kelantan and Perak in the Titiwangsa Mountains of Malaysia. Its summit is 2,181 m (7,156 ft) above sea level, making it the highest mountain in the state of Kelantan, and the third highest in Peninsular Malaysia, behind Mounts Tahan and Korbu.Gunung Yong Belar is located in the Titiwangsa Range, which is a mountain range that stretches over 480km. Gunung Yong Belar is the third highest mountain in Peninsular Malaysia, after Gunung Tahan and Gunung Korbu. We took 14hrs day hike for 14KM trail. Considering a quite challenging trail, with multiple fake peaks in the beginning before reaching Kem Tudung Periuk. The trail can be muddy with beautiful mossy forests along the way until the peak. We manage to catch sunrise along the way and enjoyed good views.
