I actually like this ride alot myself, in fact I'm heading there tomrrow. Hydra is a good ride, its unique in a way that it starts with that Jojo roll and it's the only floorless B&M coster that actually doesn't have a vertical loop in its layout and is completely different lay out from other floorless B&M rides. It's different and it stands out. Why I personally like it. Same with Talon, another massively underrated B&M invert. Yea both rides may not be the biggest and best out there but they do give good rides.
Honestly I think Hydra the Revenge looks awesome for its uniqueness and great layout. I haven't ridden it, so I can't give thoughts based on experience.
I absolutely loved this ride when I went to Dorney. I didn’t notice any rattle at all even when riding in the very back. Riding it in the very front at night was probably one of the best coaster rides I’ve ever had. It has some alright forces on it without being super intense, and (as everyone has mentioned) the layout is pretty unique. Personally I think Hydra is way underrated just because of how little you actually hear about it. Plus not to mention it’s way better compared to the other floorless coasters I’ve been on. Dominator is alright, but Rougarou is one of the few skips for me at Cedar Point.
Hydra: The Revenge is a great coaster. It's not the biggest B&M, but the Jojo Roll is a nice touch. Talon and Steel Force are mini Raptors and Magnums, but Hydra interacts with the terrain really well for a park like Dorney.
Love this video idea. Please do Hagrids Motorbike Coaster! It's crazy to me how completely over rated that ride is lol. I'd love to hear your opinion on it.
I love the layout, but its kinda bumpy. the b&m right next to it thats 4 years older is still super smooth. personally its one of my favorite floorless coasters
i rode this on its opening weekend on a school trip and it was butter smooth, guess it’s lost a bit of its glide over the years. makes me think maybe shit coasters like mind eraser at six flags america started out pretty good
I only got a single ride on Hydra. In fact, my time at Dorney was marred by the fact that I had worked the night before then drove 7 hours to get to Dorney as the first pitstop on a coaster roadtrip. I thought the jojo roll was pretty cool. The rest of the ride was extremely rattley and I was quite taken back by it. The only other floorless I had rode at the time was Rougarou so I expected a bit better. I wouldn't spend much time at Hydra if I was at Dorney. Steel Force, Talon, and Possessed were much better rides.
I actually was really annoyed by the roughness when I rode in the front, but the back was alot smoother than the front. I don't mind the rattle if I stick my head out, but I don't know if that can be said for taller people. I still prefer Posessed, Talon, and Steel Force to Hydra, but it's still the 2nd best Sit Down coaster in the park! 😂
i like this ride a lot actually, imo out of the three floorless coasters i have ridden (medusa at sfgadv, this, and dominator), i like this one the best.
never ridden looks fun dont think it whould beat out talon or steel force tho but it chould be a solid number 3(also great job and i cant wait to see more from this channel)
I have never been on this coaster but to me I will compare it to one I have been on.... Copperhead Strike. Great first unique inversion out of the station then the rest of the ride is very Meh. The layout looks interesting, but so did Copperhead Strike. I came off that ride very unimpressed so I feel like the same would be true for Hydra
Honestly it is good, I just think that this ride is hated because it's short, kinda rough (buy I've heard its horrible, and weird. But I can look past that and I think it's good
Hydra is DEFINITELY the most intresting floorless coaster.
It is, it's actually very unique for a floorless coster with its layout. It's the only floorless coaster that doesn't have a loop.
I honestly loved this coaster. Just a standard plain old good ride.
I'd like to see this done for Millennium Force as some love it and others hate it.

Hydra is a decent floorless coaster but I found it to be rougher then other floorless coasters I've ridden like Dominator at Kings Dominion.
I have ridden it in the front an back, great ride in the back, horrible ride in the front (constant pinballing)

Rode first time this year. I enjoyed it a good amount but Talon was awesome
