im not a musician but am a lifelong Zappa fan and Terry and Chad are my two favorite of FZ's drummers. how wonderful to see them play together. Both so renatkable. Great upload. Thank you.

As a drummer/ musician I definitely respect what these guys do. My issue with the mega drum kit is this. Unless you're doing huge world tours with plenty of roadies, techs, and time to set up, it's just not practical. Not to mention the space it requires. Most of the time I play a four peice. Kick, snare, small tom, floor tom. God bless.

That was completely spontaneous? Amazing.
Well I am amazed and saddened that there were thumbs down for this brilliant and beautiful work. I am sure those people can comprend the drum solo from wipeout but anything of this density and dexterity just sails above them. They stand with glassy eyes under the moon even when there is no moon and just know they could do it better. Even the sky, they could make a better sky.
I've always loved the way Wackerman looks so nonchalant and is exerting practically no effort. You know you're good when you make it look so effortless. Bozio, on the other hand, is rocking perpetual stank-face. What a sick combo! Love it!
Uhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmm............🤤 wow can someone please make a video of how Terry tunes that kit wow and Chads too they both have such a great sound but the way Terry’s toms just sing so perfect

I'm Going to see Steven Wilson and the band on November in Finland. First I was very disappointed when I heard that Wackerman will replace Marco Minnemann on the European leg of the tour. But now that I know who Wackerman is, I can't wait to see him there. Seem very Interesting musician.
Anyone that can last with Zappa for all those years has to be good.

This is really the epitome of great drum solo composition. Not many have heard the Hungarian Gergo Borial that shows equal if not even more capability to carry the torch of forward
Always interesting to see old posts when people mention a drummer who is seemingly new on the scene. 5 years later and Gergo has proven to be quite a force. I'm curious where he will go. Cheers!
Right around 4:00 Chad hits what I call The Beat. Listen to Prince/Lewis duet from The Tubes - What Do You Want From Live for another perfect example. That there is beat nirvana.

I prefer Bozzio’s haircut over Wackerman's. CW looks like a bored bookkeeper, but he’s got all the passion and fire of an artist.

omg terry bozzio has fricken 6 basses!!!
Very cool to see these guys do things together. Bozzio, allovertheplace but with an amazing ability to keep small things and big things apart, and all between. Wackerman, at first with Zappa I did not know his good things at all. But later on, like now, I understand more. He's an elegant, going not by furiousity like Bozzio but like "this is what I'm supposed to do". I love his playing more and more now that I sort of understand what's he's up to. But he's having a hard time groovin'. He should give Richie Hayward a listen :-)

Two fantastic drummers. I don’t care for the sound of DWs though. If I could afford any kit in the planet it would be either Yamaha or Sonor.

aside from the drums,cymbals and hardware id bet the heads cost him at least 500 to 1000 buck
