Nailed it Scott works great . I have a metal shear and it works great for certain cuts ..very handy tool to have .

Have you guessed the disadvantage I'm referring to?

@@ScottRods lets see if it’s one of the these , straight line cutting only or after cutting about 15 inches you have too much material rolled up in front of it to continue cutting . I use it to mainly cut down bigger sheets to more friendly size . I ordered a blade for my 8 inch circular saw that claims it cuts up to 3/16 ..will see if it does .

I sure can identify with digging through the bins for nuts and bolts. I dump them out into several other pans to spread stuff out, makes finding what I need a bit easier.

The struts that you used, where did they come from? Thank you very much. Really enjoy your videos.

I tried gas struts on my hood. Epic fail! Had to cobble up a elbow kinda spring thing.... not nearly as cool as gas struts, but it works to hold the hood open. Like your car, beautiful coupe!

hahaha, yes, I had some fails making my hinges on this. Watch the previous videos to see what happened.
Thanks for your comment, I'm excited to get this done, I think it will look awesome.

I got a pair on Amazon. Only used one, and it's not failed me yet, after two years. Link here: amzn.to/3MhT3qP
