This has been my thoughts too. I played hunting grounds with a chick who made fan fiction and it was mostly based on this. It was so damn good. I think they are scared to touch on it cuz it has to be perfect. I don’t follow the comics, do any of them really tell and show their world?
We wanna see how the Yautja lives in their home planet. We want to see their society. We want to see their justice system. We want to see their racism against other types of Yautja. And we want to see how they make babies.
@@LAKED801OUT the predator comics do show the homeworld and their societal structure, they're tribal clan based like the Mayans and Indians etc, they're polytheistic ( they believe in 2 gods) they do sort of have this kind of caste patriarchy way of governing their societies, however most never just stay world bound, and many tribes often tend to take to space searching various planets for worthy game to appease their gods and earn their places in the social status hierarchy, there's also no real explicit male/female to them, their anatomy can be considered similar to some species on earth where depending on necessity such as various frogs will alter it's own DNA genetically for breeding purposes so it's kind of a yes and no that the yaut'ja are hermaphrodites in a sense. the lore about the Yaut'ja in the books and comics delve even a bit deeper than even this too, and it's honestly way cooler and more interesting than whatever tf is happening to the Alien franchise every time Ridley Scott touches it.

It would be nice to have a movie where the Yautja actually win. I loved all the movies but the Yautja are badass warriors yet they constantly lose to humans. To me that isn't really reality. I liked Prey but i hate what they did with Rafael Adolini's musket. I want to see Rafael Adolini and Death join up and fuck up some pirates, and then Death murder all of them. I want to see Wolf or Scar, or ANY of the team come down and beat the piss out of us, because thats what would happen.

There is a book called Predator If It Bleeds. It’s a book of short stories about the Predator. In one story the Predator faces Vikings. In another the Predator fights Samurai. The stories were amazing. It’s a really good book

I liked Prey. They had a woman lead who was some goofy super powerful woman. Even during the original Predator movies the realization that physically a human was nothing to a Predator and it was about wit and stealth. If they have a woman taking on a Predator in hand to hands it will be a flop. If some woman throws one 5 meters we will know.

My dad would (and still does) turn the volume all the way up during the scene where they all start shooting into the jungle at the predator in the original film. So I totally feel ya when u talk about memories. I was born in 81 so I was pretty young when predator came out and my dad and sister and myself would watch it a lot! Good times! I'm gonna hold off for now in saying anything because from what I can tell nobody knows much about plot twists or storyline we just know its supposed to be coming somewhere in 25 so with that said I hope its much better than Prey when it does get here. I wasn't sold on Prey personally I think it coulda been much better.
