Yes, that is Dimash's parents. They are well known singers. His mother has a beautiful soprano voice. There is a tradition in Kazakhstan that the 1st born is raised by their grandparents. Dimash called them (his father's parents) 'Mom & Dad' and he thought that his biological parents were his aunt and uncle. Families are very close and they were always together. He found out that they were his actual parents when he was 10yrs old. His grandfather (Dad) recently passed away. Thank you for reacting to this. Dimash has had such an intense musical life and such a wonderful family to support him.

I absolutely love the Ultimate Guide To Dimash videos, they really give all of us more insight about Dimash, as you mentioned, his shyness, Dimash has confidence on stage and his concert performances are different from the guest appearance performances. In concert he is very interactive with the audience, you can tell that he feels very comfortable, not nervous, because the Dears love him and he considers the Dears family, so there’s no reason to be nervous. I am so happy that you are watching this, yes he has dedicated his entire life to music and training and continues that training and we all hear the maturing of his voice. Thank you so much for watching this with us, as much as you already appreciate Dimash, you will have a larger appreciation for him as you watch these videos ❤.

I hope you continue to do these guides. I watched all of them to find out more about Dimash, the person, because of what the Dears community said about him. Being new to his music, searched for any kind of interview or discussion with him and found these guides to help me understand him as an artist and person. I've learned about his humorous side, which I love, and how much he loves his Dears, feels safe and at home onstage, trusts the Dears and feels they trust him. He is a wise, intelligent, and shy young man, but also quite humorous/fun, and always very humble...just an all around great man and artist. No wonder he's loved!!! Dimash is Kasakh, speaks Kasakh, Russian and English and is learning Mandarin Chinese. He sings in more than 14 languages, plays 7 musical instruments. He graduated from the Kazakhstan University of Arts, master's degree in composition and finishing a doctorate in musicology.
He also dances and is an advertising model (he is 6.1 feet tall).
He has received countless awards and distinctions around the world.
Right now he is in the United States, working on his new material that his fans (he affectionately calls us "dears") are looking forward to.

Also please see The Meaning of Eternity, be sure to scroll on the left to the one by LiLaSi. This was very early, when he was living in China. The end notes are the most beautiful, pure singing I have ever heard, it makes me cry.
Also see "Dimash and Dears" from LiLaSi showing a lot of different concerts and Dears, (fans). The backing voice is from Eivor, (sp?) fom the Faraoe Islands. There are so many performances from his time in China, like Fouzhou and Shenzen. And Olympico at the Super Shine contest on Youku.

Watching all behind the scenes videos and interviews you get to know and see Dimash - ones appresiation of the man sky rockets even more. Hope you dive into those rabbit holes, you will be astonished.
I still remember the Instagram post from late 2021 after his return to China when he questioned whether he deserved the adulation he was getting and that there were probably artists out there who deserved it more but hadn't had the opportunities he had.
That he fully admitted that he was an introvert who shied away from interviews and public appearances but that he was our introvert who loved us anyway.

Hi. Love your reactions. As you can see he's very shy and humble. There are more of these interviews out there. They're great. You get to see the man he is. His mother said she does not know the man on the stage. He's so different. He speaks English, Russian and Kazahk. He tries Chinese but said it's extremely hard. He sings in many languages but I don't think it's the 13 people claim. He practices a MINIMUM of 3 hrs daily with a trainer if possible. I recently learned he has ABSOLUTE PITCH. I had heard ' perfect' but it's beyond. Only 1.01 % of people have it. Extremely rare.
Actually until now Dimash has sung in 16 languages and he can plays 9 or 10 instruments..Dimash is the one and only and is a phenomenal genius..King Angel Dimash Forever
Each language he's sung in was gathered and documented by one of the Dears. It reached 15 languages even before he sang in Armenian this year.
Hello, as we all know your dears, Dimash is exceptional and the best male vocalist on the planet. It is in his genes because his grandmother was a singer when he was young, his parents are both very famous singers in their country. His father sings normal, and writes song lyrics and is a producer. His mother is a soprano, she sings very well and they usually go out as a duet. But as Dimash said in an interview in his country and they told him that it is in his genes and he replied: 5% or 10% will be genetic but 90% was hard work, perseverance and discipline.

Soon after "discovering" Dimash - May this year - I watched this series of guides to the real Dimash. I fell in love even more with this MAN - so humble, kind, family orientated and extremely talented. Yes that's his parents, hopefully someone will provide a link for you. They are also talented and well respected in Kazakhstan. It's obvious he has inherited not only his looks from his parents, but their talent, humility and respect for family.

LiLaSi's guides are excellent. And she is a lovely Dear. Dimash has a 30 second video on his page of him doing high kicks. He rarely does interviews, and the part where he's sitting next to a guy speaking about training (thats Rassul one of his backup singers, and he was there to help Dimash with some English translations, when needed) was a live stream in 2022. I hope you react to them all. Some are short videos, you might be able to fit 2 into 1 video.

I've been your subscriber since your very first Dimash reaction. I rarely leave comments on your videos because I've never had the impression that you read your comments. Nonetheless, I'll leave this comment to add to your comment count in case you really do use comment count, rather than just view count and like count, to decide to react to more of the episodes of this guide.
His parents say they can’t believe how Dimash is once he gets on stage, so different from how he is normally.

Every once in a while Dimash will surprise the fans with a live chat on Instagram. It is rare but it does happen. The questions come in so fast and by the hundreds so only a few actually get answered. He answers questions in Russian, Kazakh and English so far that I have seen. Pretty much the same languages he speaks. Now that he is living in Los Angeles I anticipate his English becoming better but honestly... I do not want him to lose his Dinglish as we like to call it.

Hello. Dimash is a little bit shy, and he doesn't like to do interviews or making a pose for photographs. 😡But sometimes he must do... There are about 12 parts like the one that you've just react. Dimash is very serious but also very funny. Always making other people laugh. 🤣In some of the other parts you can see him being serious, but also funny. The part that you didn't understand about hard work, it means that nobody can achieve anything without effort. But he loves to sing, And he does that because of it. If you imagine 20 years of study, you can understand what he just said. He's not complaining. He's doing what he loves, and what he wanted since he was a young child.
As of other questions, his parents are both singers: the father sings pop (I believe he quit to become the manager and producer of Dimash) and the mother sings opera. 👋
The Singer competition (China 2017) was a big step in Dimash's career, because the number of people who achive the content of that show, (millions of views). Previously he was a very well known artist in eastern countries, like the ones after USSR. Dimash speaks khasak and russian fluently (the later I belive was/is mandatory in his country). 🤔He's trying to learn mandarin and english. Nowadays Dimash doesn't need a translator when somebody speaks english with him. He's actually living in LA, working in some projects. So... the english will improove very soon. Time and sacrifice. His father took him aside and told him he'd have to choose between being a soccer player or a singer, that he would have to invest time and training into ONE field if he wanted to excel in it. Same with Taikwando. Did you see the fight scene in the Be with Me music video?

They lived in the same house as his real parents and Dimash considers his grandmother "Mama" That is why during this tribute to his mother, he also steps up and sings part of the song to his grandmother who is in the audience. Dimash is extremely family orientated and not only are they close, they also work together now.
1. There are a number of videos of Dimash’s parents (Kanat and Sveta) singing. Try “Astana Waltz” (composed by Kanat) and “Precious Mother”.
2. TaeKwonDo: so obviously you haven’t reacted yet to the music video of Be with Me…😅
3. Swimming: there’s a clip floating somewhere out there in RUclips outer space of Dimash jumping into a hotel pool and dolphin kicking underwater all the way in one breath the whole length of the pool!
4. Criticism: when he was in China, haters accused him of only being good at throwing out high notes and having no emotional expression. No wonder since then, Dimash has worked harder on expressivity.
5. Impact of Singer 2017: Dimash became known in his home country of Kazakhstan first as the son of his well-known parents; and as the winner of many singing competitions. However, he also incited much jealousy from other established singers. There’s a couple of clips of competitions where some judges trashed him and even insulted him for adding whistle notes though they were forced to score him well due to his obvious talent. Then, a famous singer named Maira Muhammad advised him to compete internationally if he wanted to make it. She encouraged him to enter the 2015 Slaviansky Bazaar, which he did and won the Grand Prix, the first time a Kazakh singer did so. This caused people back home to take him more seriously and he started getting invited on tv shows and going on national cultural teams abroad. This was also how he came to the notice of the organizers of Singer 2017. He was a total unknown in China except among the small minority of Kazakh Chinese. The day after SOS aired, his followers on Weibo catapulted from about 1,000 to 2.4 million, and international offers started pouring in. His father immediately applied for a leave from his job at the Ministry of Culture and caught the next plane to China. He arrived just before Dimash went in stage to sing Opera 2, unbeknownst to him. The rest is history.
I love this series. I'll definitely watch the whole series with you if you do it! I also think it's really interesting how Dimash is so different on stage and off. In his interviews he is quite serious but he also has a huge jokester side to him also when he is with his friends. Take a look at some of the videos from his time in China and you will see that. There are a lot of them out there with subtitles in English. 🇨🇦

Dimash had stated in another interview how he made many sacrifices to achieve his goals. I would imagine that he meant giving up doing things that other kids his age were doing. They were having fun and he was perfecting his voice.

Thank you for reacting to this guides. They really are fantastic. Too bad most reactors don't look at these. It's all about octaves and the vocal acrobatics that he sings in this paraticular song. Sure, that's amazing. But many only refer to Dimash as an alien and do not see the human. That's what he's worked for all his life. It's a hard training every day. And yes, I think he is referring to that in the beginning of the interview.
We love him not only because of his powerful voice, but above all because we know that he is a humble, grateful and wonderfully talented person who can penetrate the souls of people with his songs who only allows him to do. I can't even begin to express how much he changed my life for the better.

Our Dimash is very shy off stage. He speaks quietly and there is a calm about him. He actually doesn’t like interviews and that’s why there aren’t many to see. There are 12 episodes do this series by LiLaSI which are just brilliant and they are very informative. Dimash has said all he wants to do is sing and compose. Singing for Dimash is everything and if there is any labour involved it’s a labour of love. Both Dimash’s parents sing and are very well known and respected in Kazakhstan. I am amazed that you didn't know about Dimash's parents. I thought all Dimash fans knew of his background & upbringing. His beautiful mum is an opera singer and had performed alone and with her husband and they have also performed with Dimash at concerts or appearances when he was younger. His godfather is also a musician and Dimash has been surrounded by music & talent all his life.
I love Lilasi's compilations of Dimash & his life & talent. There are more of them, so it would be lovely to see you react to them all.

There’s a video on utube with Dimash singing with both his parents. He was in his teens. You must react to it. His mother is a famous soprano in Kazakhstan and his father sings pop and is a music producer. What a family! Yes please react to the entire series. ❤❤❤ 🇬🇧
The singer contest is the one he was known the whole world but he was famous at Kasakhstsn already .. his youvtube started 2019 then he’s more famous with all his concerts.. his fears started his famous all over the world he’s gifted
