Peace & Life Everlasting with Jesus 💝
Pray for guidance and wait Patiently 💝
Rest in Peace, Forrest Richard Betts!!💔
Loved them early on. I’m an old guy.
They cannot be defined by “southern rock”.
They’re much more than that.
DITTO!
heart players
Just with Duane was around longer.
I hate that term and Greg hated they hung that on them until he died. Dumb!
Sounds So Awesome 👏🏻👏🏻 There Will NEVER Be Anyone like the #allmanbrothersband 😎🎶🎸🎤💗💫👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💗
I remember blasting this from the Fillmore album alone in my room at 18 in 1973..sipping a bourbon and coke and waiting for my buddy to pick me up for a night out. I was so filled with joy and didn't have a care in the world. Life is good and that was gold.
Wake up mama, turn your lamp down low! I've been a fan of this fantastic band throughout my whole life! Thanks to The Allman Brothers Band, what an incredible ride for The Midnight Rider!
Back when artists had talent, and music had soul and impact. Classic.
Agreed.
Warren Haynes underrated guitarists
Amen brother
What a stupid statement. Plenty of music like that today, you just gotta look for it
@@blindboygrunt7711 I have looked for it, and I have found a lot of it out there.
Being more specific: The pop music scene and top performers are soulless shills and complete shallow posers. That's my opinion. I do agree about seeking out quality music.
Good Lord it stills give me chills all these years later!!!
Goddam, there never was another greater f*cking band in all the land! When The Brothers were "Hittin the Note", the groovin never stopped movin! Unsurpassed talent the likes of which we'll never see again. Thank the Lord for their recorded timeless music. The Road Goes On Forever - indeed
wow
This is how you Command an audience !......Nobody does it like this anymore....not even close!
My all time favorite band. Best darn white blues singer in my book.
As Jaimo said "best blues singer period, don't matter what his color is"
Not bad on the keyboard wither
@@keithbalderson1682 amen on that Hammond
The Master of Space and Time, also, jùs såyîn ¡♥️😎♥️¡
@@freakbennett2263 yes indeed
I miss Greg. They are a great band. Miss Duane too.
Gregg. :)
miss dicky
There has to be something in the water in Jacksonville!!!
Lynard Skynard, Molley Hatchet 38 Special and the Allman Brothers WOW
I'm sure I'm from Jax ❤
They say they're the best rock band that played live music ever, I call them much more than that.
Whether it was Duane, Dicky, Warren or Derek their music was solid and intact definitely the greatest of all time.
Don't forget Jack Pearson, Dan Toler and Les Dudek.
I would love to have had Warren play with Duane Allman. What a combo that would have been.
I love to see Greg jam!! Miss you, Brother. Rest In Peace.
what great band!
There is nobody I had rather hear play the guitar than Dickey Betts, but Warren Haynes sure ain't no slouch, either. Wow!!
Best yet
Miss you terribly Gregory !!!
OMG, what an amazing live performance!!! I’m so glad I was growing up with this music. Thank you Gregg and fellow musicians ❤
Man Greg sounds so good on this
So tight, I could listen to a loop of this for the rest of my life....
My favorite line up, since D.A. Dickey really carried that guitar torch, and when Warren came on board they had an amazing tightness and dynamic that made them even more legendary. Shoot, y'all know Allen added so much more rhythm to that bass line ! Love this !
love u GREGG
My favorite band since 1969
Unbelievable!
Super band of brothers with that southern rock sound😎
They still get in the groove even after 21 years playing this blusey song. Love them especially Gregg really getting it!
Always and for eternity will love them, see you in Heaven.
Great to see this one , good times 👍
Love that BOOGIE!
I’ve seen this band 3 times, as a 4 1/2 yr old in ‘71. This show @greatwoods, last was 2010 @jazzfest. My parents were 50’s, very early 60’s Beat. Took me along to concerts till71-72, stopped because the “crowd”getting to dangerous.
Best Band there ever Was ... Is ... and Will be 👏👏👏
My favorite line up besides the original!!!
HOTTTTT DAMN STAND ON IT BOYS
Now that is rock music love there music
What the hell are you talking about 😂😂😂 this isn’t rock
🖤🥀Amazing song no doubt that I've always loved this song! I remember in the 70s I went to Battle of the Bands at the North Ga Fair grounds & a band named Kudzoo use to win playing this song. I'm definitely a Ga. Gal I always made it where music was. Amazing Song I love it🥀✌🥀☝️
That was really good!!! Enjoyed
I think the strong and unfailing rhythm throughout is the star of this performance. It makes me remember how important good rhythm playing, individually and as a band, is. Sounds so good.
& I love the ending of this song (in 1991)
@@laurielanford1126 Laurie, I agree wholeheartedly. It's hard to find anything wrong with this performance. So, I stopped looking!
@@garyduncan7129 I totally agree !!
@@garyduncan7129 Ive got a real problem with this song........its too damm short 😁
beautifull music created by music lovers loving their amazing noise beautiful period
Blind Willie Mc Tell give a bar for the Blues !
Warren is briiliant.
They were the class of southern rock!!! They invented it and Skynyrd perfected it!!!
So be it ! ❤
Fabulous. I have this on DVD, great to see it here now. Every track is gold nugget.
Greatest of all time.
a fine tuned jam
Always loved Government Mule since I saw them at the Beacon Theatre in NYC opening for AND PLAYING WITH the Allman Brothers with Greg in a cast from a motorcycle accident the day before. 😎🎸
I saw the ABB 35-40 times on this "tour"(in between Grateful Dead tour) starting at Deer Creek in Indy Summer '90 & ending at the Warfield in SF in '94. Illinois at Poplar Creek in '91 w/Little Feat & the Radiators particularly sticks out as amazing. Every show, that I remember(lol), was awesome & they opened every night w/Statesboro Blues.. & I still love this song!!
🎤Wake up momma...🎶
⚡🕉💜🎹🎸
Well I didn't make it to all the shows but I sure tried so I'm just gonna say this and as dead a Allman Brothers fanatic I guess . Missed seeing Duane live as we had our own shows we played so here it goes , I also saw Little Feat with the Brothers and Lowell G. and the guys runnin round the country and world with him well shit what more can I say without being disrespectful I mean damn I have seen so many bands from the Brothers to Zeppelin to Mr. Daniels down round Tennessee and toured right behind Ronnie and Allen and even that ole Okie so they where all so good it's hard to say one was better than the other but they all have their shows where everything and everyone were just on another level and Missy Lowell G. And the boys was on that night and we were so close on tours that all of the crew hell everyone would go see some good music everyday and night they could including myself . So when I say Little Feat was on that one night along with many more shows so the Brothers told we m not to stop till they was ready to drop and true to their they didn't and standing ovation ahh I don't know maybe I will just stop at 10 and with the crowd so rippin after about 2 1/2 hours they stopped in mid Willin and looked around at the rest of the band and it was on . It was kinda like Dickey B. and Gregg Allman told the crew they had 15 minutes to have the stage ready and with L. F. In accord they only swapped bare necessity's like mick's , drum heads and bass drum and that famous B3 and rig and away they went for a 4 hour jam and brought so Little Feats out with them close to the end and I know you surly have a helluva more interesting story than mine and I happy you did it all you did cause not many can go there so I say that was some damn fine livin rite there Leah and I honestly don't know another soul that did what you did . Much love for Gerry and his guys cause I can't leave them out of this conversation just ain't never gonna happen and so happy I got a chance to tell my side of that tour in Charlotte N. C. 92 only to head up 95 and see the Dead in New York 2 days later and yes mam personally I needed the extra day so you roll on lady and spread that wealth of knowledge you got for your devotion and wish we had crossed paths but it's all good . PEACE Y'ALL & DAMNED IM OLD !!!
Leah Vogel , I just wanted to apologize for all the mistakes in words and spelling so please take into account all the long rides and nights that where had and it's vivid in my mind but just want come out my hands anymore so once more PEACE BE WITH YOU !!!
Fantastic 😅😅
Beautiful times, LOVE 💟
ボーカルにスライドじゃ無くベッツが絡むってバージョンあったのですね😂新鮮🎉

I was there.
Hey Greg, never ever start that song on anything but your hammond. It just ain't right.
"Might be yo man....I dunno"
I’ll say again, Warren Haynes is one of the best.
But Dickey Betts ain’t bad.
❤Yes
Some bad ass white boys they jam
Perihelion you’re totally ríght.

Who is playing slide guitar next to Dicky
W
Good version here but listen also to Taj Mahal recording
My favorite Alman tune. This version is a bit fast and jazzy. Prefer the live at filmore bluesy recording.
Ouch, sorry, that was me. I needed to sell 10% of my bitcoin for an an airport for my fleet of jets.
Acoustic, electric......it don't matter.....these mofos can play a tennis racket.
That's just gotta be racist! Right Libs? 😂
