One of the things that may have not been mentioned is that “AlBalad”, is actually the original “Downtown”, of Jeddah and that it is one of the oldest downtowns in history among modern or other contemporary cities around the world … some people would think that places like Damascus or Cairo are older, but, the fact that the name of the city is Jeddah translated from Arabic means Grandmother, because the last resting place of Eve (Adam and Eve), is in Jeddah predating any and all other cities on Earth …
I heard about this story a lot, and that Adam landed in India and they met in Arafat, so it was called Arafat because they met and recognition each other there. arafat in arabic means (recognition)
In the summer, Saudis go to cold cities such as: Taif, Al Baha, Baljurashi, Sabt Al Alaya, Al Namas, Tanomah, Abha, Bellahmar, Balsamer, Fifa Mountains. Do not leave Saudi Arabia except by visiting archaeological sites, the most important of which are: Al-Ukhdood in Najran, Jubbah and Shuwaymis mountains, Maghaer Shuaib Cave, Musas Mountain, Diriyah, The Red Sea Islands in Umluj and Al-Wajh Saudi Arabia is best visited with cultural festivals such as: Janadriyah Festival, Souk Okaz Festival, Taif Rose Festival, Olive Festival in Al-Jawf, Dates Festival in Qassim,Jasmine Festival in Jizan etc..
Thank you for sharing this unique place. It seems like a chapter taken off a book of ancient Arabic tales❤️ that traditional coffee house, the ambience, that kid and the women selling ice lollies are straight off books I read as a kid. This part of the world is such an interesting place 😍 Safe travels to all of you ❤️
You are very welcome in Jeddah, my city. The city is witnessing a significant development in buildings and other things currently. I hope you will visit it in the winter. The weather will be very nice. ❤️
8:00 this is basically how ice cream used to be served traditionally, and it was home made. There would be someone in the neighborhood who specializes in making these and every kid in the block would come by the house to buy

Loved how intense and serious the elderly men playing Dominoes! and btw the ice pops are called among Saudi's as the "old days Ice cream" as it was famous i think back in the 70s or 80s for being easily made at home and you can enjoy it and cool down after school!
Beautiful, I enjoyed watching you and I have already subscribed and I am waiting for the next. I wish you a good time and do not forget this. You are welcome in Saudi Arabia at any time, and it is your second country. Believe me, we are a people who love guests very much, and each of us will give everything he has for his guest. What makes Jeddah so special is the cultural and ethical diversity. The pilgrimage who came to the peninsula and stayed brought their culture and traditions with them. So Jeddah is a melting pot of literally everything.
@Stadler Huyna We have more Christians in Jeddah than Muslims in most of America’s state and european cities. And I don’t get your point why it’s a problem that all of them are Muslims?
Welcome to your second country🇸🇦. I apologize for the bad reception💔. We look forward to your return again. Thank you. I wish you a wonderful and happy trip.❤️
Come visit the South of Saudi Arabia where is the good weather. There are good places like Abha city, Rijal Almaa and An-Nimas Rijal Almaa has the heritage village. From there you can go forther toward the south to the city of Jazan. Where you will find variety of delicious food such as Marsa (brown bread chopped with banana and both local honey and ghee), fish magsh ( local fish cooked in saucepan made of stone)...etc. moreover there are good places in Jazan like Wadi Lajab ( similar to wadi dissa), Fayfa ( a town build in the top of the high mountain), further more, you can go to Farasan Island. I hope this was a good guiding for you and have fun.
nice to have you in saudi arabia, this is old traditional area i hope you enjoy it, and i hope you visit more modern places and share them on your channel, so the world will see we dont live in tents like they think 🤣.
