I actually attended this show for the first time this past weekend, been wanting to go for years, never made it till now, mostly due to the 5 hour drive i got, But i was definitely impressed, the pure size of the place was overwhelming. I'm remembering lot's of the cars your showing here, seemed to me that prices were kinda high for lots of these cars, some asking prices i couldn't even believe on some of them. But i did have a great time, was a great event, weather was excellent, i will definitely be going again.
That 70 Torino GT was the first car i saw when i walked in on Friday, I'm actually looking for a 70 Torino Cobra, but i saw that GT, and let me say it's Definitely Rough, not much left to it.
I am born and raised in central PA and have been going to Carlisle for over 30 years ......NEVER buy a car at Carlisle unless it's a project that someone hasn't hacked up yet.....most of the so called finished cars over under the Pavillions or in the grass are just cobbled up with bad paint and body work.
That's why you gotta look really good before you hand over any Cash, and if you don't have the knowledge to really inspect an older vehicle, Get someone who can !
Eric, agree completely. It is rare that you will find a quality driver with little to fix at Carlisle. Over the years just rusted out hulks with giant prices are there now. I also have been going for 30+ years and still am amazed at the level of selection. I found my 67 LTD on line in super condition.
I can say that I don't understand the desirability of the mustang II cobras. That would be like going back to a used car lot and finding an 89 Hyundai accent. Then telling all your friends and family that you found a good deal on an 89 accent and you're going to restore it.. I don't understand why anybody would want to buy or try to restore one of those. It's such a lackluster car.
I’m still giving my dad crap for not jumping on a beautiful 68 GT fastback 390 automatic car. All original nice and driving for 25k back in 2018.. instead he buys a 70 Mach 4 years later for nearly double .::😂
I'd be a little more careful opening up cars...... most people have the "you break it, you buy it" policy! Hopefully you're getting permission before rummaging through cars.
Wish you would give your opinion on the prices a bit more, as someone who lives in the UK I don't really know if the owners are smoking crack or being reasonable
what waste of money all of them where junk all you are getting is a title and a pile of rust you people that waste your money on this junk are nuts. LOL
As always appreciate you doing these videos. It shows there are still some good deals out there.
Great stuff, this is becoming one of my favourite channels.

Sorry to say that I feel that these sellers are caught up in the "inflation" farce the prices are just too much.

Love the Ferrari inspired Detroit t-shirt! Where can I find one?
Very nice video. Thank you for taking the time to make and post. I didn’t make it to the Ford meet.
Great job as always!

Yeah, I know a guy who bought a car that literally had 25 gallons of bondo in it. He myst have been extremely drunk because it is really bad,
