Love, love, love listening to a good old boy like Terry tell us of the glory days of his youth. Its pure magic we will never get enough of. We're running out of his type every day., and they don't make 'em like him anymore. More please!!
Although I've crossed into "old timer territory" myself, I could sit and listen to these slightly older old-timers talk for hours. They need to be documented, just like old war veterans, because when they're gone, they're gone. I thoroughly enjoyed this interview!
This is an incredible video if you appreciate early muscle car history. So much of this is getting lost as time goes by. Those that lived and remember what happened with the fast cars of the day. I am 65 years old and can tell you there were many a late night ripping down some remote straight away in a 69 Camaro with a six pack of beer dreaming of what these guys were doing and trying to do what they were doing. It was an incredible time for muscle cars. Hope you can get more information like this in future before it is gone.
Incredible stuff, walking & talking automotive historian. I'd love to have a case of ice cold beer and sit down with Terry and hear all the stories. Great video.
Men like Terry are a treasure! I could sit for hours and listen to stories about the old days. I would love to hear about some of the Chevrolets that Terry has sold. Great interview!
That was the best interviews you will ever do. Please go back for parts 2 through 20. Terry is amazing, a true one of one! Rick Mansberger Don Marrah Customs Owosso, Michigan
Now THIS was a great video! You don't often hear stories from guys back in the day who were actual dealers and especially high performance dealers. Thanks for posting this one!!!
Loved hearing Terry, Yes please i'd like to hear so me more stories, He's great, He knows all about Old muscle cars, And He's a FORD guy. You rock Terry!!!!.
Once again you knocked it out of the universe Parker, another awesome content video, Terry was amazing, it would be awesome to see more of him in your videos, great content.
This is by far the best automotive history video I have seen in a long time. Terry is a fountain of information, a real treasure. I'm a real automotive history junkie and there ain't no rehab for that!. Thanks!
What a great story. Terry is just an average guy with an amazing story. It is like going back in time. What a great history lesson of the days gone by. Thank you to Terry and all who put this video together. He is truly blessed to be telling his story . Thanks Terry
I've seen several of your videos which I enjoy but, I really loved this one. Talking with someone who was part of what was happening back when real muscle cars proweled the streets was awesome. More like this please. Thank you
I am a fan from British Columbia this has to be one of the best videos I have ever listened to on a you tube channel, thank you......i love all cars.....thanks Parker.......
It’s awesome hearing about the cars and local history that I had no idea existed in Waynesboro. I live just outside town and loved the video, thank you.
Great video! Thanks for bringing this trip back in time. I have watched you from the beginning and it’s uploads like this that is putting you at the front of the pack on my must see viewing. Great job!
Hey Parker I’m a new subscriber love what you’re doing so far! You should consider doing some kind of live stream like a Q&A or something with terry! He’s filled with history and knowledge of old muscle cars
Awesome video there the old guys stories are so great to listen to and they live the era and knew all about it awesome awesome video keep it up thank you
Loved the content. Please go back to see him. Was that a 1961Ford in yhe garage. In 1968 my brother inlaw and sister had a 1967 impala convertible. They went on vacation, left me a 17 year old $1000.00 and the car. Went to the speed shop then to the me local stock car mechanics. They had a Hot Rod convertible when they came home. 3/4race cam. solid lifters.headers 4barrel Carter afb.
I was a kid in grade school in the mid 60s and remember all those cool cars roaming the streets. I was a car nut since I was 2 or 3. I called out the 57 Chevy as a classic car even before it was a classic.
It would be a good idea to have a tv style series of interviews with the people like Terry from the era who dealt, , worked on , drove , raced , witnessed , grow up with this era of racing , street racing of the legendary cars , people and places eg dealerships , racetracks , dragstrips and the street locations. Before they are all gone. Of cource there would be apparently , maybe , or i heard. But would be lost if not for Terry's story of his life experience. Top video. 👍
Back in the early 80's I used to buy and flip second tier muscle cars. Back then you could get a 1972 GTO with a 400 engine, or a 1972 Ford Torino with a 351 Cleveland for less than a $1000. I would put $300 or $400 into them, and flip them for a couple of thousand dollars.
28:35 He's got a Bob Banning insignia trim....that was my neck of the woods. Back in the day Hyattsville, Md had a Speed shop on every corner. Now they are all gone. My mother bought her Dodge from Bob Banning. Banning was heavy into racing as well. Malcom Durham's Supercar engineering and Machine was in Hyattsville. Malcom long gone but his shop is still there run by his family doing mostly just auto repairs.
Stumbled across the channel driving for work obviously I just listen super informative. It’s funny listening to him and the his history. My father owned a 68 SS Chevelle 396/375 and it got stolen so first he’s looking at a 66 L-72 corvette but he was 25 and it was 1971 so the insurance was gonna be just as much as the car payment. So then it boiled down to a SS Nova 396/375 but the clutch was worn and he wouldn’t come down so for the same 1900 he bought a 69 Copo with 36,000 NOT a bad deal his cousin in Virginia had a 69 Copo Chevelle. They were hot rods but they were just cars to folks back then
😄- Just this AM I shipped a '69 Dart with a 383 powertrain in Texas (at a friend's house) and it's headed to NC. Solid car, got it for a little more than half of value...
Does anyone know what car the hubcaps cam frome on the bottom row on the left side with the chrome and white inside. I found a couple of them on my property in very bad shape and was interested in knowing. I have a whole collection of dented and slightly rusted out hubcaps that I have found on my property on my wall.
Great interview! More Terry please 👍🏻
Yes more terry. The history he knows is amazing. I learned so much about this area racing history.. Great.

This was entirely enjoyable. My grandpa raced a car named flying buzzard
That interview could’ve been three hours and I wouldn’t have moved
More Terry! Good stuff
Great interview.
Omg. Thank you for the video. 😊😊😊
Great stuff... always watchin
Love this. Very cool
Grumpy Jenkins was from Pa. about 75 or 80 miles north of you peeps.
Awesome episode!!
I'd like to see Terry share some of his 8mm movies.
Wow, I need about 8 more hours of listening to that guy. Sure would like to know more about his disappointment is that boss eliminator.
Those performance cars that he sold in the day for a few thousand dollars are worth millions today.
did you have the one of one Baldwin-Motion LS7 Camaro?
Why can’t we have the info where the cars were sold ?
Cause you never tell anyone where your goat is tied up. Some knucklehead is gonna come along and f*ck it.
Terry s family had a dealership in Waynesboro pa
No Hemi Cuda’s or LO23 Darts? He wasn’t the top dog then.
That was awesome
There's nothing like owning a R code Ford.
Yeah more Terry
Wow! 👌
Guess it would be like trying to sell 100 thousand dollar high performance cars and trucks today. If you can afford it you will buy it
