This project is designed and developed by Simon Kueppers. You can find the GitHub at github.com/skuep/AIOC. The GitHub includes the information to purchase a kit/BOM from jlcpcb. In the future I'll test more radios for compatibility.
Hi All! Simon here. Thanks Sean for making a video about the AIOC. Much appreciated! 🙂 Just a heads up, the development around the AIOC is currently very active (e.g. preliminary CM108 PTT support has just been added). Feel free to open issues and feature requests.
Thanks for responding! I spent the day yesterday coming up with an STL For a case. I have a few issues to work out. Also, I have a few radios I can test for confirmation if they work or not. I will try to use the github for tracking, although I am not very familiar. Again, I'm excited to watch this grow. Thanks so much!
Very cool video 🖖 Looks like a tidradio bluetooth programmer, would this also possible with it, what you showd with your diy version, not everyone can solder this little components or use a 3d printer. 🤔 🤗
It may, but I am uncertain. I located this on the github site : "Since firmware version 1.2.0, a CM108 style PTT interface is available for public testing. This interface works in parallel to the COM-port PTT. Direwolf on Linux is confirmed working, please report any issues. Note that currently, Direwolf reports some warnings when using the CM108 PTT interface on the AIOC. While they are annoying, they are safe to ignore and require changes in the upstream direwolf sourcecode. See wb2osz/direwolf#448 for more details." Hopefully this will help!
Not me, but I have heard (not looked to far into) the AIOB, is this something that may be helpful? w1btr.com/index.php/product/new-aiob-test-run-all-in-one-board-audio-ptt-programming-cat-controll-3-3v-5v-data/
Allstar nodes will not work currently as in order to have allstar node work, there must be a C-media CM108 or CM119 Sound card built in. From what I could tell, this is the wrong Chip for that.
@@LB0FI Yes I saw that too, I wanted to order some. I'm going to talk to Simone and see if that's a part that could possibly be replaced with another part
What I would like is if there's a tethered seriel inlut from the phone that can program like chirp I know a bluetooth version exists but bluetooth is annoying.
You can go to the github page in the description and get the files and then go jlcpcb to have them manufactured. At the current time, this isn't something I am selling. I may do a group buy, but as of now, I am not. I believe Temporarily offline may. Good Luck!
Best I could do is have them manufactured and delivered to me. TRS Still needs to be installed. I have no part on this project, but the developer agreed to let me sell them at cost. shop.73qrz.com/products/all-in-one-aioc-pcb-board-prototype-just-add-2-5mm-and-3-5mm-trs-sleeve-tabs . Sorry it's not fully built.
Aloha Sean, do they have an iOS version for iPhone? Also, since cell phone manufacturers are doing away with cables all together, will Bluetooth be an option later on? Great video Dude! 🤙🏻 Todd WH6DWF🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I don't know much about the iphone, honesty. As far as the bluetooth, if you go to the github link in the description: you should be able to contact Simone and ask him about the bluetooth option.
Hello, tomorrow morning I'll do a community post to see how many people are interested again as I don't currently have anymore. And the thing is I can't really get any more until I do a group by, otherwise I have 25 or 50 of these that I've paid for. But tomorrow morning I will do that community post and see if I can spark some interest
If anyone is interested I have some AIOC to sell. Made an order of 50 units and when the GMRS rules were clarified a bunch of guys got scared and now don't want the AIOC

Annoyingly loud background music is never a good idea 😠

Here is a version without the background music ruclips.net/video/dQw4w9WgXcQ/видео.htmlsi=_Sd99MaXlrVPHcFb

I have two on order.
Cant wait for you to cut the cable!
Your videos are so clear and informative, way tooooo gooooo!
I appreciate it! I messed up my audio, but there's always next time

Never have I seen someone so happy to cut a cable with a pocket knife
You've never found a faulty cable that has been giving you random grief, I guess?
@@jamess1787 Not enough grief for me to want to pull out a knife and cut it. I just toss it in the trash.
So satisfying. :D
Great Video Dude. Will have to look into this one more.
Thanks. I think TO is doing a group buy, if you are interested. I don't know anything else though.
Can it do PTT without VOX? Leaving the SQL open would be useful for weak signal reception via FSQCall.

Great video Sean! I am in the process of ordering a couple of these boards myself. Have you tested if you could use this to build an Allstar node?
I haven't yet however, I could probably hook one up real quick

*My buddy actually provided me that information*
@@HAMRADIODUDE Thanks for looking that up. Looks like JLCPCB is out of some parts at the moment, so I will have to order later.
