Glad I found this channel. I want specific products for myself , motorcycle and camping and there is just nothing on the market the way I want it. You make me want to get into this! If you could do a video on starting out sewing, basics and stuff that would be great! Looking for more molle projects! And now I go watch the rest of your videos
Now that is some super cool sewing. I was looking for tutorials about sewing complex pockets or pouches and this came up. Outstanding final product. Great video! 👍
Great project, subscribed hope to see more content soon, I'm gonna try to make my custum tactical side bag there is nothing better than made your own custum pocuhes to cover what you really need
Very nice! I always manage to forget to put the zipper runner on the zipper before I sew it up. I sometimes think I have an alter ego that hates me and does everything it can to srew with me 😅 I guess the positive thing is that you get better at taking things apart 😒
Would love some tips on sourcing materials. Obviously google brings in the big stuff but It would be interesting to hear how you buy how much you buy how you store it
New here! New-ish to sewing. Like the content. And appreciate the explanations. This is more what I’m geared towards making. Using a janome 6260. It’s meant for quilting. But has features that I couldn’t ignore ( 1 step button holes and some boundary stitches) will definitely be watching these videos like it’s a doom scroll Lolol.
Pouch looks super nice. Great to hear about the process, etc. as you go along. Your videos gave me the push I needed to start learning to sew! Are you selling any of these pouches or only making them for yourself? You said you want to monetize the channel, I'm guessing that means by ads, but maybe in the meantime some actual sales could work, too? Also, can you do a video some day on the machine you have and the pros and cons of industrial vs consumer machines and how you ended up with the kit you're using? I'm guessing these more heavy duty machines will have more speed or power to push the needle through layers of thicker synthetic fabric?
Hey thanks for watching. I pretty much just sew the bags and give them to friends and family. I don't sell them. When I said monetize the channel I meant that youtube will give me a tiny bit of money every time someone watches a ad at the beginning of the video. I'd love to make a video on industrial sewing equipment. They are important when you start sewing heavy material.
@@SewingProjects That's great - these kinds of "tools of the trade" videos could be really cool, especially for folks starting out, but I bet for some more experienced makers, too, as your final products look so well put together, with a lot of attention to detail, etc. Another idea: maybe something on designing things with function in mind, what have you improved over time, what works well, etc. - your thinking behind the design decisions. Cheers.
Lol went from skid steer to pouches. Just messing, but did the project end up being too much? I was going to start the same project but seeing how many people quit halfway through sapped my confidence.
Great job, thanks for sharing. I enjoy watching your videos. Another guy just getting into sewing. Learning quite a bit from ya, thanks.. Be well Subscribed Ps what type of machine is that? 1541? Can't tell. 😃
Thank you! Looks like a seriously durable pouch.

That looks great, man! Thanks for the upload. I learned a lot from the misc comments on the small details!
Nice! You make it look pretty easy.😊

Ps what type of machine is that? 1541? Can't tell. 😃
Hey, thanks for watching. The main machine I use is a juki 8700 :)
what kind of foam is this? also what fabric are you using?
Hi. It's 1000d Cordura Nylon fabric. The foam is just cheap craft foam from Michael's craft store.
@@SewingProjects i thought it looked like craft foam lol. very cool. i’m gonna get some
fabric order your patterns and try
it out myself. thanks
What is the yellow foam? EVA?
Hey. It's a 1mm piece of craft foam. I sometimes put it in between fabric layers for rigidity.
What kind of machine is that?
Hey. It's a juki ddl8700.
