My man! feels good to be back! Life has been busy, new baby, and moved but getting back to it! Happy Easter to you as well! Thanks for the warm welcome! 🙏🏽
They had these on sale for a daily deal over at B&H $110 for the 50 and $160 for the 99 I picked up a few and love them. Only thing I wish is that they had 2 d-tap ports 😢 other than that they are awesome
@@nienize yeah I think they def could come down in price a little. These sale prices (especially now) tell you how much they are overcharging in the first place 😵
About powering the camera , monitor, and recording to both camera a monitor/recorder. I want to Pai this with the S5iiX and Ninja V. Rough estimates are fine. Thanks!
Yes! I actually did this today with these smallrig male threaded screws I'll drop the link for ya. Not sure if it's the best product as you can't determine what direction the battery will end up facing, but it worked great for me on sticks. www.amazon.com/dp/B007LTH1X2?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
Yeah I would say roughly 2-5 hours. I've found my monitor drains it pretty fast. So as of now, I depend on the NP5 batteries for the monitor and use my 99wh Vmount to keep my camera going all day.
Not dumb, yes you can, that's what I use it on just need to go with a usb c cable option or dummy battery, (I think the usb C option is the recommended)
I have multiple different brands of v mount, and the small rig for me are by far the worst out of all my 95-99wh vmounts. On my sony fx6 with atomos ninja v + transmitter, they die the fastest out of the rest by almost an hour faster with the same wh rating. might not change anyones mind but good to be aware of not to mention with smallrig being more expensive than majority of vmounts at the same wh
It makes sense tho. It’s a 50wh so it’s in the ball park of what other batteries do. Maybe slightly overpriced but not significantly more. Compared to other brands, this battery is regulated so you don’t have to worry about ruining your gear.
Great video. Congrats on the kid. Got mine due in a month. Wish you the best 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
2:53 🤣🤣🤣🤣 bro I was dancing with you 🤣🤣🤣 keep it going next time
hahah I'll keep it longer next time my guy!
Solid bro thank you. i was wondering how long it would last powering both monitor and camera.
Yo! I get like 2 and ha half hours if I'm luck on the 50, I can get about 5 on the 99wh
Good to see you back in my feed! I missed your last video, so I hadn't seen anything from you in a while! Hope all is well! Happy Easter!

Perfect video man loved the review thanks
Much appreciated! 💪🏾
Thanks for the vid! been debating about picking one of these vs the 99w
I’d say go for it! It’s one of those things that you’re instantly like why didn’t I do this soon ha! 🎥✌🏾🤙🏾
A+ intro Bro!
Just picked up the Vb99Pro for the same price as the Vb50 ($220) (Boxing Day sale)
I’m def gonna pick up the 50w eventually
Thanks bro! They are so good! Also gonna a have to check out open box day never heard of it haha 🙌🏾🤙🏾✌🏾
@@WillieShawFilms it’s the day after Christmas in Canada (up to 80% sales nationwide wide lol)
Well I'll wait till next year haha. Also if I lived in Canada, my whole family would celebrate Christmas in January haha@@SCINEMACREW

2 D-Tap would be nice, I power my camera with USB C so it's been great for me, but I can see the benefit!
???? Im paying 280€ for them while they are on sale 😭😭😭😭😭

@@JamesDBuzzard I actually ended up buying the 50 😅 pretty excited! If it’s good I will probably buy the bigger one aswell
Just picked up the Vb99pro for the same price as the 50w (Boxing Day sale)
(& it has 2 usb-c ports)
Is it possible to simultaneously connect a camera and a monitor to an 8 and 12 volt jack port?
I believe so if I'm understanding the question correctly. If not, the battery will give a warning and turn off.
which batteries do you recommend?
Thanks man! Does it charge that fast using USB-C?
Yes! I use my Macbook Pro Charger
Oh nice thanks man!

I made a follow up video about this, I think the 99wh would be the best for what you’ve described
Is there a way to connect it directly to cage or do I have to get those rods ?

How long does it run with 2000nits moniter and s5iix with ssd

Might be a dumb question but what cable do you use to be able to use it with your Sony camera lol

What cords are you using??
Hey! I charge mine with my Macbook Pro Charger!
Excellent video. I must say the phrase is incorrect though. I believe the statement is right off the bat.
haha not the 1st time I've been wrong haha thanks for checking it out!
@@WillieShawFilms not really a big deal or anything. I may have OCD and intrusive thought told me you might want to know. Lol
Waiting for PRIME day to pick up this bad boy, but thinking to stick to that 99 size to get all day with a shoot!
Ay todays your day! Go get it my guy!
Show us you rig and how you mount it!
Thanks for checking it out! Video coming soon! 🤘🏾
Lol don't mess with Mom

Thanks for checking it it! Do your other ones charge faster? I think I’m ok with it dying an hour faster if they charge back up 2-3 hours faster
@@JackEnriqueC , making trade offs are generally the consensus. Thanks for the insight fellas.
Goes from 100-0% in a couple hours? weak & too expensive
