Hi, yes you can control the fan speed from the button... Hold it down and it will raise the speed. Let go, hold the button again and it will lower the speed. Great review...
In response to my query if the Dyson fans actually produced cool air the response from Dyson was: The fans do not contain any air conditioning element. They will therefore not bring down the air temperature in the room. They cool the person instead.
Yes, it just a fan. It doesn’t cool. It’s on the verge of false advertising for me. It’s the wind effect that give the cooling sensation like any fan. I’m planning to do a video on that topic in the future, please think about subscribing to help my little channel.
It's confusing how people have this misconception that a Dyson fan will cool like an air conditioner. In fact, it's astonishing. It's a fan and it is advertised as a fan. I don't know how a person could think a fan has Freon induced cooling cooling capabilities. Most fans have the word "cool" in their name or have a "cool" fan setting, but this is of course advertising. No one is going to by an air circulator. They are going to by a fan. Some people need to have common sense. It does not take a Dyson representative to tell you that the fan is not an air conditioner
I paid 309€ for it and I'm in love. I think it's like Apple products, the price is crazy but you pay for a company that is incredible good at engineering motors and have a great way of designing. Dyson is developing solutions for luxurious problems, and oh God yes its stupid. I still love the product it works the way I hoped and it's the first fan that let's me sleep on setting 2 without even noticing it..
Price is effectively subjective. Sleeping is priceless ;) But I wish it was better built for the price. Apple product are not only well designed but there are also built with quality material.
Just want to precise one thing.......you can still control the air flow speed just by pressing long enough the on/off buton on the base. So you can increase or decrease the speed even if you have lost the remote. I wanted to tell you that because you don't seems to know it when you have recorded this video :o)
Yes, it’s not the end of the world. I will Velcro it on the fan. Right now it’s on the ground. No place to put it. But even with velcro, I will need to take it out to aim at the fan because it works with an IR blaster. I think that for the price, they could have put some buttons ;)
@@TEKDAD It is a magnetic remote. it should stick to the top of the fan. We have to 4 of those fans and we love the fact that does not collect dust- we have no fan blades to clean, or air vents that collect dust. All you need to keep the fan blowing as strong is to wipe or vacuum the surface of the vent at the bottom every once in while.
I received mine today. I am not happy as it is no difderent to my cheap £30 fan. The Dyson just pushes the hot air around the room. I live in the UK and the weather was at 22°C today and it was useless. Even at 16°C/18°C it is useless. It does not cool!
To try to find it cheaper like I did or buy a fan for 80$ from another brand. But price is subjective, I don’t think the product is worth the price in the sense that it should be cheaper, but if you don’t really care about the price and just want that look, you can buy it. Personally, I was surprised how light and cheaply build it was when I opened the box.
@@TEKDAD not cheaply built as the engineering behind the fan is revolutionary. Before Dyson's fan, there was no such thing as a bladeless fan. There are China built copies that are as noisy as a jet plane
Maybe you should have watched some other Dyson AM07 videos because the remote can be stored on the fan through magnet means. There are also buttons to control on/off as well as the air flow. You can also download the fan's specs online to learn all of those things. Just sayin'...
You right, i didn’t know about the magnet at the time. My refurbished unit didn’t comme with any papers or indication of that feature. Should have checked. For the controls, it is pretty limited on the base. It should be on top with controls of oscillation and all. I have a 30$ fan that have all the functions on the remote and on the fan itself.
@@tajdidajman4889 they actually sent me a better model (pure cool) with the hepa air filter only downside to that is ill have to buy a filter every 6 months using it as much as i do but that model is worth a lot more than this one just took almost 2 months for them to send it buying from the ebay refurb

how breeze you feel the air blow at 9 feet .. take table fan and set to level 2 air flow speed which level tp04 will be..tq
Why not just leave the remote beside the fan or in one place allowing it to directly replace the functionality of regular buttons?

If you hold the power button at the bottom of the fan you are still able to control the speed level

A fan does not cool the air. None does. It’s pushes air like wind. Like wind, it will have a cooling effect but that’s it.
