Cate Blanchett's intelligence is always so uplifting! It is immensely inspiring to listen to her. She walks away from the sensationalism the mainstream press tries to create and goes toward a much deeper way of discussing things. Besides, she has a great sense of humor! She is surely someone to be heard and admired, not only for her extraordinary gift for acting, but also her sensitivity, authenticity, and integrity as a person. Cate empowers women, men, children, this world... She is what she says and it is a very rare quality!

Find it a bit ironic that they talk about being asked what shes wearing, people focusing on the aesthetics, but then the next question the interviewer mentions in great detail the clothes she was wearing... Cate Blanchett is such a legend though!!

Cate has that slight british aussie accentbecause she lived in england for 9 YEARS! Plus she has to act in roles which require an english accent... it has nothing to do with being posh. Watch her tim tam add-she use to have the "normal" aussie accent. My sister went out with a british guy for 3months and she already started speaking in a slight british accent!
Yeah, she lived in Brighton, (in South East England, Sussex) from 1998 to 2007, before moving back to Australia, to Sydney. But now just last year in 2015 she has moved back to the UK again back to Sussex.
