Wow. Moon in Scorpio here. Your comment resonated so hard I said Wow in person and raised my eyebrows lol. I have debilitated moon in the 8th house (aries lagna) and i also have debilitated saturn (conjunct with mars and jupiter) and my mom is a bit crazy lol and definitely acted like a dictator at times, our relationship used to be very bad she used to drive me crazy and hurt my feelings without even realizing or being able to acknowledge it which made me grow to despise her, but as I get older and experiences ketu transit over my moon the last 18 months I have began to understand her more and I realized that she had a very hard life from childhood and she went through a lot of trauma so I am able to forgive her and realize that even though she hurt me sometimes she still loves and cares about me and tries her best even though she isnt perfect. We still have our misunderstanding but for me at least it helps to just accept her for who she is and not put my expectations onto her and how I may want her to be. She has overcome a lot of struggles in her life so for that I admire her strength and resilience and she has always loved me unconditionally even if we have misunderstandings. So its kind of a strange relationship but it definitely has improved as I get older. But I just turned 22 and this is only now that I am getting older and becoming more mature. In my teenage years I used to truly despise her sometimes lol. I also have rahu in cancer.

Sir moon is not that good in Scorpio. In my case, Saturn 🪐 a malefic is in conjunction with moon which just makes matters worse. Presence of Saturn totally weakens the remaining residual power of moon. If it's placed alone then it will not be very problematic.

honestly, this thing of exalted and debilitated is overhyped. theres no such things as bad placements, these are all challenges you choose before incarnating. The goal here is to transcend your chart, thru your own personal spiritual evolution. You should see all these as chhallenges that will make you stronger and evolve further, not as something bad
