- This demonstration shows the Andromeda Research Automotive Locksmith Kit#1 (www.arlabs.com...) performing a Toyota Sequoia immobilizer reflash followed by a Toyota Sequoia cloneout. The immobilizer reflash procedure will virginize the module which allows new keys to be learned by the Toyota Sequoia. The cloneout procedure allows the automotive locksmith to read key information from the immobilizer eeprom which is then saved and used by a transponder programmer to create a replacement key. The cloneout procedure removes the need to synchronize the immobilizer with the ECU which would otherwise take 30 minutes.
The Toyota Sequoia reflash procedure is performed with the automotive kit probe set attached to the eeprom. The cloneout procedure is performed using the optional 8 PIN DIP CLIP (www.arlabs.com....
The viewer is also shown two tricks; one for confirming a valid connection to the eeprom part and another which disables the immobilizer processor which insures a valid read.

Excellent tutorial and a great product!
Wish you could show where the module was installed
In the video librarian example we tell you where the module is located.
You have virgin file?
We are not a source for virgin files however there are many available on th e internet.
@andromedaresearchlabs7826 Thank you for the reply. I found them I online. I got a customer who called a company to do a key for 03 toyota sequoia, and they damaged the chip. So I bought a few different microchips 93lc66. I couldn't find one that showed my exact numbers as my chip. But I bought about 4 different 93lc66 chips. I even bought one that's 93lc66a even tho the chip doesn't say A at the end, but the scanner shows A at the end. So I grabbed all the different versions I saw. I plan to try the 93lc66 I/P first, and if that doesn't work, the 93lc66a I/P. Have you ever had to replace a chip with a new one, and did it work? My chip shows 93lc66 I/PHCC 0236. But I can't find that exact chip, but the specs seem to be the same as the specs you mentioned in the video. You are the only person who mentioned any specs.
The 93Lc66 will work in the Sequoia immobilizer. The part is forced into 8 bit mode when installed in the circuit assembly. Out of circuit the part is 16 bits. If you program the part in-circuit choose an 8 bit driver.. The 93LC66A part from Microchip is fixed at 8 bits and does not support a 16 bit mode. @@segounlocks5029
Finally, will it work for v.i.p. security systems
Sorry, I have no experience with a VIP security system. Is this a Toyota/Lexus option? We've been supporting the locksmith community for some time and have never been asked this question.
@@andromedaresearchlabs7826 . I just found out about it. Its dealer installed system .
Your tutorial is the best and closest video Ive been able to find . thanks
@@fgh85030 Thanks. I've not heard of any incompatibility with a reflash or cloneout. I'll see what I can find out.
Excellent tutorial for a great product!
