    Thanks for your video. I managed to replace valve gasket on my 2008 captiva 2.4 l petrol which was leaking oil into spark plug tube. I found that the service mechanic did a mistakes was to put in a lot of high temp sealant on the gasket. Oil school. After watching your video i did not put any sealant and followed your procedure. No more leaking.😊😊😊😊

    The tube lookin thingy broke off while changing it. Can I put it back like that or is replacing the hole cover necessary?

      You might want to replace the whole cover, but it depends on the damage.

    Wow that looked too easy,, i will make an attempt ,,what was the tube you had to dab a little in different area's of the head just before putting the valve cover on ,, silicone high heat?? Anyways thanks for the video!
