If you guys like Japanese gameshows, you guys will love Dokkiri. They are basically Japanese pranks, but they put a lot of effort into them, for instance, strapping a guy’s bed to elastic wires, and launching him through his roof as a wake up call. There is also one where guys are watching a bike race on a tv, and a guy crashes into the camera, but he leaps through the screen and crashes onto the table in front of him. And my personal favourite, a guy getting an extremely realistic plastic recreation of his head made, and exploding it when it is turned around and when his employees think it is him. There are so many more and they have so much effort put into them, and they are all really funny!
Takeshi's Castle is really awesome. would always hurry home from school to watch it on tv. their games are great but it was the contestants that make it even better. they sure know how to choose their players.
The first woman's board is a page from a photo book she has published and is meant to be promotional. This show is from around 2006 and I used to watch it as a kid. I miss it very much.
yall have to watch MXC speciffically MXC which is like if MST3K did japanese game shows and was culturally inappropriate. The commentary is what makes it gold
There's a game show called Game Center CX that's sort of a precursor to Let's Plays. Basically, an employee is tasked to play retro video games at a company for a chance to get promoted. His colleagues tag along and comment on how's playing. So, it's like MST3K with video games. Bonus: The star of the show, Shinya Arino, narrates the Japanese Indie World Directs iirc.
Takeshi's castle was a top tier show when I was a kid, if you guys can get to watch a full episode, I'd advise it, the best bits are always hidden in that show, though I'd watch the UK version as the commentator is full of sarcasm
for those who dont know MXC is a dubbed show of a older show called Takeshi's Challenge( the english translation) and the rights were bought or something and americans or some other country redubbed the entire show to make it more comical its a great show
