No bounce no play, Brian! Thanks for reviewing it, been so long since I read this while taking the train to Chicago for College. What a trip down memory lane
Dreamcatcher was the first King novel I read as it released new in hardcover, so it's always held a special place for me. Been meaning to go back to it and see how it holds up.
I just finished this about 2 weeks ago. Man what a ride. I think that there was plenty of great in this book, but also so much meh in here too. It started out so strong and then with time it dwindled down. It also just goes crazy with the alien in people's minds perspective and the whole scenary there. I think that there was so much going on at once that at times it felt like you could not fully follow the story. I did like the conclusion overall and, man did it make me feel some sort of way especially with Duddits. His storyline really touched my heart. Overall, I thought it was a 3.5 star read. This was also the very next thing that he wrote after my favorite piece by him, the screenplay for Storm of the Century.

Have you done a book review of any author that hasn't been made into a movie?

Great comment thanks
I loved the film adaptation. It gets a bad rap. I recently listened to the audiobook version and loved it.
It's been so long since I saw the film. 20 years
Dream catcher was actually one of the better books I read by king. I’ve read about 25 of his books so I haven’t read them all
Do you annotate? How many pretty tab colors do you use, lol?
Zero actually
This was my first King book. It soured me to him immediately. I hated it.
There are better ones. I ussually tell new King readers to read Green Mile first
Dream Catcher and Tommyknockers are my least favorite King books.
a lot of people say that

They’re genuinely not THAT bad, but they definitely low tier King.
