Rarely agreed more completely with a book discussion (review). This is my top Stephen King book outside the obvious Big 2 - IT and The Stand. This is also the book I recommend when someone wants to start reading Stephen King. As you mentioned, it is truly quintessential King, and the one I've reread the most (after IT). Also has one of the best King villains - Leland Gaunt.
I read this when it first came out many years ago. A few days ago I pulled it out to re-read, so your discussion is very timely. I enjoyed listening to comments!
I bought this book when it was new from a bookstore at Vancouver International Airport enroute to a camping trip in the Haida Gwaii. I was around thirteen and with my Scout group. Read the whole thing amongst mountains, massive trees, and the Pacific Ocean. I still regard it as of my best reading experiences. I finally re-read it last year.
An all-time classic. Top-10 SK book, and arguably his most unique
Agreed

I used to watch Days of Our Lives with my grandma.
The font looks veeeeery familiar to the younger generation who are fans of a certain Netflix show.
You are correct, sir. I love the older graphic design on horror novels
It is very good😊
The Body is in Castle Rock…..Oregon! Weird!
I remember reading a scene where a raven is looking down and it made me think maybe Flagg was coming into the story
I think this book does tie into the overall King Multiverse pretty well
Loved 95 percent of this book. That ending sucked tho.
