Thank you for not adding any music. Nothing better than the sound of a flat-6
Reel Issues Could not have said it better. Cheers! ^^
yeessss
Reel Issues best comment here lol
Any car video is better witthout any music!
Its a boxer engine.
Tunnel scene gave me goosebumps. Best 5 mins I’ve spent on the internet.
I love this 💖💖🚘🚘🚘 its so calming, hearing that turbo sound , the way the 6 sounded i could sleep while listening to this, putting myself in your seat and doing the exact same thing.
Truly Breath taking
There is no turbo lol. It’s naturally aspirated
@@yellowevo5483 Ah ok thanks for the correction 😅
Man I love my 996 with x-pipe but this is another level of car music
😍😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️Questa è arte, very beautiful video

Great video. Great sound. Is it possible that sound and video is not always in sync? you can see it on the tachometer when shifting? anyways great work!!!
Did you guys realize rpm gauge and sound difference at 1:06
the extreeeeeemely slow shifting bothered me. I just kept wanting him to shift faster every single time. it was so slow that the rev's drop down below past the RPM the next gear would be at, and you can hear the revs snap back up, lack of revmatching. otherewise, this was a stellar video and production. I live right where this was filmed, how do you guys have the balls to do that on the street, with multiple takes? did you guys get any cop trouble? i can't imagine doing that but BOY would I love to.
KuostA It bothered me a little as well. Are you familiar with these gearboxes though? I have a 911S with the '915' gearbox and whilst I double it on the way up and down and match the revs always (it probably SOUNDS like much better operation), I'm probably not swapping cogs any more quickly lol. If you haven't driven with one of these boxes it's probably tricky to convey the point, they are pretty odd to operate.
there are always some folks who have to complain about something EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TIME.
Wackrapsatire Kids, right, they just don't get how to appreciate the heart and art of this car and driver.
KuostA It is a 44 year old vintage car, not a piece of crap to destroy for your enjoyment of balls to the wall speed shifting.
Apparently you have never driven a vintage 911.
This was recorded in LA so yes, some of it was most likely by permit as a film production with police knowledge and protection.
He's treating it with respect and double declutching to save wear. It's not an Evo 6
What camera setups were you guys shooting with?
And what car was used to chase the shots
RIP Sixth street bridge
This same lap would have taken 8 hours during the daytime
This must've been at 2am or something
@@tcolondovich2996 i wonder which street these are, i wanna drive them too at 2am
@@phantommedia9964 i know the bridge part connects to boyle heights which is the sixth street bridge, and then theres the 2nd and 3rd street tunnel. All around hipster areas of the arts district it looks like. Nice drive at 1am-4am just watch out for ese's (gangsters) in boyle heights and bums wandering the streets mindlessly.
@@flush_entity I wonder that at night there are not traffic absolutely! In my city (Saint-Peterburg, Russia) at night there are a lot of cars on the roads, and in the historical center in some places you can get stuck in traffic at 3 am same in the Moskow!)) And I'm happy that I live on the island to which only drawbridges lead, which lift at night and you can get here only by the paid expressway!))
@@Mr_Twister77 that sounds incredible, the island part, not the Moscow 3am traffic haha

YU GI OH
Those "breaths" that are taken in between shifts sound AMAZING!!!
Each gear revs nice and slow for you to enjoy and then that gasp in between is musical!
It almost had a Bullet/McQueen (without the double-de-clutch part) about it. Lovely mechanical simplicity that harks back to greater days!
Zwikster
Anyone know why the 'breath' is he double clutching every single gear?
Sounds wicked but why?
Van31 A couple things. I know my 74 targa has a 915 transmission and by modern standards, the throws are very long with the OEM shifter. Thats why you get those gaps in between. I wouldnt doubt he is double clutching all the shifts just because he wants to. The 915 transmission just feels better when you double clutch both the up shifts and down shifts. Its also a lot more fun too. You dont have to, but its just nice haha. If you ever get the chance to drive one, do it. Hope this helps! Cheers! ^^
Such good insight, thanks.
Van31 No problem! Glad to help out.
I always come back to watch this video when i'm stressed out
Me 2
Drugs are useless,this is better.
me too
This is the "Zen" moment for car-enthusiasts
Just the sight of a 911 is enough to make my blood BOIL!!!!
Ouah merci à @vbrequin pour cette vidéo #loulou
Awesome! Respect to the camera operator, too, really getting among it in some of those gimbal shots, they're not afraid to be part of the action, that's for sure.
Imagine how hard it must have been to run alongside a Porsche 911 at 60mph without falling over or dropping the camera. Or clinging to the roof without falling off or etc.
A masterpiece ! You guys really nailed the feeling of driving that kind of car that I imagined, just the engine reving, no music, always wanting more RPM
With an exhaust sound like that, who needs a radio?
This video single handedly got me back into cars
I couldn't agree with you more!
Any time I watch it, I usually go out for a drive myself.
This comment needs more appreciation
This is me on a quiet night in GTA when the homies are offline
Yeah me too. Cruisin' around with my tuned ride and enjoy the city👌
Same, out of al my friends who use those weaponized vehicles, I'm the only one who takes the driving aspect in the game to heart. When I'm not online with them doing the latest Heist of some sort, I'm on the highway driving the Futo (I like the AE86 and its the closest I can get) to its limits. I don't go for a lot of power in it, all I have done is the engine and transmission at race-spec, along with the brakes and suspension. It's fun to just drive around on the game and even cruise with other players!
SAME!
@@drivenbypassion3634 dude the futo is so underrated, she slides and handles like dream especially in the rain
Doing that right now bro. In a comet retro. Listening to some cruising music.
Quick steps to watch this video:
1. put on some nice headphones.
2. clean your keyboard and screen after you came.
3. Rehydrate and play ti again.
I still enjoyed without headphones because the video is THAT good
All the more reasons to really work hard for one
Hardly worth it; I'd say.
It’s not just a car, it’s a living being, each time Magnus changing gears and floor down the clutch it’s literally “breathing”
Speed limit: 35
Magnus Walker: *I'm gonna pretend I didn't see that*
Yo there are big names in town, consider yourself noticed, we'll be in touch!
What a car video should be. Driver, Car and the sound of a cars heart beat. Nice work guys and gals.
Heart beat??? LOL It doesn't even have a pulse!!!

I love how Magnus has almost brought a new perspective on not only porsche as a brand but its culture and following an a whole!
Now if only we could get him to come to the PNW.
Porsche cruise anyone? :)
Sheru Walia He also is probably a large part of the aircooled market bubble right now. xD
What Bubble? For a bubble to exist they have to be making more of something. And they are no longer making vintage air cooled Porsche cars. I think the sky is the limit, I just hope that real people will continue to own the cars and drive them. They are art in motion, and should be used.
Sheru Walia If you get a cruise together shoot me a message, I am always up for a drive in the P car, live down near Olympia, Wa.
Josh Austin Not necessarily. There can be a finite amount produced, all that needs to change is amount introduced to the market following a sudden increase of demand from shift in extrinsic value of consumer base leading to an upward spiral of market price. The fact there is a finite base makes it even worse because growth is impossible and capitalism relys on growth and surplus value which there is none of. It's happened in different car markets before. The expensive stuff stays expensive and sometimes gains price actually but the not so special high volume produced stuff, that got a boost in price with an increase of the rare volume stuff going up, drops in price. Like for instance the 911 SCs of the world that are far to expensive for what that are or the 912E.
Rene Hourian We can agree to disagree, I own a 911sc and love to see the car that I paid a cheap price in Porsche terms turn into a 40k car. I can't say I have seen it in other car markets, but right now the air cooled Porsche does seem to be the one to have. Not sure why the SC got the bastard Porsche moniker, even though it has a much better put together engine with the 3.0 and far less mechanical problems than years past. I understand it's not a turbo, or an S. It's also not a 912 which are still going for crazy prices, I passed on a 912 about a year ago that went for $7000 which I thought was nuts, and now they are trading for high teens to low 20s. I still say they are not making anymore air cooled cars, so I don't see the value going down. But I don't care, mine is not an investment, it's my fun get my ass in trouble car, I throw my track tires in the back and go to a track day and bolt back on the street tires and drive her home. I hope you have one and are enjoying it as well. Take care my friend.
A great representation of going "Out for a rip"
Merci le Sylvexplorer ❤️
The sound is so pleasing
Where is Ryan Gosling? Can´t see.
Great work indeed. Really enjoyed it. Was it your crew guy at 2:32?
Roman Pyasetskyy (good eye) pretty sure you can see Frazer make a guest appearance in a few films, also always keep your eyes peeled in all of our films for a blue dodge pick up :P
Roman Pyasetskyy what are you doing with your life sir? lmao
Gallardo 5Million I picked up on it too. I highly doubt he combed through every frame of this video to find the continuity errors.
+eGarage this guy xddd
Well done! Such a good feeling while watching this, and the all motor sounds were orgasmic.
This video exemplifies the feeling of being one with the car. Nothing like a night time drive in a very analog car. This is what it feels like to be ALIVE.

Opened a songlist folder in my acc and just added this video, that'll do. Greetings magnus and to the people who made this. ✌️
Incredible, reminiscent of C'etait un Rendezvous, very well done
Yes, that's what I was thinking of too.
Only the sounds are of the actual car you see in the video.
Va va vrrooomm...oh that raw sound from the classic Posh engine...and nicely choreographed scenes. Wicked!
>> 'Porsche' engine.
I had a big smile and goosebumps the whole time while watching this,
what a great & awesome ride ! Absolutely loved it ! Thanks a lot for sharing.
Need For Speed 2015 anyone?
+Rexart35 Exactly. At some parts of the video my brain simply refused to believe it's real. I took a serious overdose on that game...
+Ben Snow man i'm like "oooh that's the one from need for speed street..." Then i'm like holy shit how awesome NFS 2015 actually is ;o
Perfection. No music just the flat six.🔥🔥
The flat six is the music wdym 🔥🔥

1. Put volume on 1/4
2. Open new tab on RUclips
3. Start Midnight Rambler by The Rolling Stones on max volume
4. Start the 2 videos simultaneously (sort of)

Maybe but then again i am not really a car lover
Jack Ferrasci stinger was lock on only and a launcher idiot i bet u don't know shit about guns in game and life
Now i actually realise that the sound in NFS 5 Porsche was very realistic!
Absolutely stunning! eargasim! Thank you for that!
Sounds didn't always match the rpm on the dash??!
Imagine Magnus Walker, Akira Nakai-san and Sung Kang cruise this same route together, that would be so awesome!
This short video is better than 91.7 percent of all the movies I have ever seen.
A one hour version of this had been so nice!
if it was 4 more minutes, it would have been 9:11 long
Really refreshing video, where there is no music background. Just Magnus driving at night, showing it from different angles, hearing that awesome Porsche motor. These days too many car videos with showing off girls and straight piped exhausts/crappy mods that ruin high end cars, and the same lousy house music. This video hit the sweet spot.
Video could also be titled "how to keep your injectors from getting clogged"
Carburettors usually on a 911T, but definitely blowing dust/cobwebs off the car!

This is a pure and perfect video of the best sounding flat-6 i've ever heard!
“c'etait un rendez vous” LA version ...
Except with the proper engine sound.
Is this the intro for ''Drive 2'' in 15 years?
Very cool, looks like it was all done in one take, just curious how many cameras total were used?
I've had to rewatch this a few times already, its just magic
and the shot from 1:23 just wow
This edit looks like a Michael Mann movie
it's like Claude Lelouch's iconic film, 'C'etait un Rendezvous' (1976), but in a Porsche...and in L.A.
Fantastic! I love the cinematography in this piece. So difficult shooting at night as it is but to get such amazing shots is fantastic. Bravo and more like this please!

ipceas Prius Owner no doubt about it.

can't be LA... where's all the traffic jams? lol
And the tents?
I've been watching this video intermittently over the past year or so (I got my hands on a 991.1 and got real deep into the history of the 911 during this time), and at this point I really want to know how in the hell this was shot. was a camera placed on the hood of the car? Is there a drone following? How did we get the shot at 0:58? this is some of the most amazing driving footage I've seen, and I really want to come close to even 10% of this in my own car. mine's obviously not an aircooled and has pdk, but still...
Are you in the LA area? I might be able to help with that
