Great narration. Love this guys voice. I only have one complaint and that is when a sentence is not finished. When it is all of a sudden cut off and it goes to the next chapter it is quite upsetting.
Tarzan's survival instincts fell from an 11/10 to about a 6/10 in this book lol Interestingly similar to John Carter's IQ drop in HIS second story. Makes me wonder if the 1st book of each series was above the average level of his readers' comprehension level, leading to requests for simplification.
Ralph Snelson good ol’ boy choice of Punjabi Indian-Swedish chef accent for the Muslims is… entertaining in a so bad it’s good way. It doesn’t detract from how the pulp novel is written.
This is a great sequel to Tarzan Of The Apes. Shure it definitely gets dull before and after he fights the Arabs but once he gets back in the jungle its a grand old time! Im definitely interested to see where it all goes.
You can skip chapters 4-14 if it bothers you so much. Tarzan was going to learn to speak language and go through the trials and tribulations of man’s world in more brawler pulp than espionage.
A very different type of story than I was expecting
These are ERB’s originals that I read over 40 years ago. All of his stories are wonders.
This fellow has a fantastic voice. Sounds like listening to a father reading you a story by the fire in a cabin.

I love Ralph Snelson [not sure how to spell his name] and such great stories.
Thanks for sharing this great book! My word the baddie( Rocoff ) ( terrible speller) is pretty horrifying isn’t he!
I rather like Tarzan in the jungles than in the cities. The cities were more wild and deadly!

Reminiscences of the only Tarzan book I ever read as a child. Absinthe, Jane Porter and Archimedes Q and his ''batman'' and Rokoff.

I don't know... personally I think his survival instincts came back in full force once he got back in the jungle.

As I listen to the efforts of this narrator the words of my mother come to mind, “If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all.”
The irony of the passive aggressive result in your failing to heed her words.

Too bad this went in this direction. Tarzan as sophisticated gentleman spy..is not Tarzan...and became uninteresting. Im out
Good.

Ugh this is painful, the narrator is terrible. I appreciate the time and effort involved but he's very hard to follow.
My friend I think He is perfect
Cant get into this narrator at all. I had assumed Mark Smith was reading the whole lot, sadly not.
