- A long drive to the coast with the surf and wind forecast being totally wrong 😑 I decided to fish it anyway…. It was to be fair a little sketchy at times but it does keep the mind focused 😂. In hindsight I should have just dropped the bass but it was about a 3 meter drop. That and the bag incident keeps it entertaining I guess. Maybe I should go back to driving rally cars 😂 mind I had a fair few mishaps there aswell over the years.
Perhaps I’m just “unlucky” 😂😂
Edit fell off my MTB thos week as well 😒

@@matred3538 certainly is but if you do hit a bass it’s more likely to be a decent fish. If it’s safe just go and fish learn about your lures just practice keep moving if you can change lures try different speeds and depths don’t be afraid to follow your instinct! Tight lines 🎣

That place is a tackle graveyard mate, and bloody dangerous! get yourself down the beach for a stroll much safer and you might find the net washed up.. I've never lost any lures down there caught plenty of bass at high water. And there are sandeels and garfish during the warmer weather. Bet your not down there now its twice as rough. Stay safe👊

Cheers foggy. I tend to be like that for most things. Another reason is I have driven 3 hours so you have to try. If I lived up the road I would probably have gone back to bed 👍🏻

Did you notice a hight barrier on that car park area behind you .. I'd like to fish there someday out my campervan thats all ....I know exactly where you are. Very nice spot !
Yes there is a height barrier i think it’s 2.3 meters I have a swb Vito with a light on the top as my daily driver, Kev has a T5 with roof bars and both go under easy. It’s not a easy place to catch on lures in general drop me a message if you go next season 👍🏻

Bail arm over manually pull the line tight before turning the handle was the best advice I ever received on this matter I guess you do that ?
