  • Navigating the challenges of evolving work dynamics?
In this talk, Raimund introduces TeamOps: a way of working designed to optimize team dynamics, streamline decision-making, and enhance productivity within organizations. Developed, practiced, and refined by GitLab, it’s a framework grounded in actionable principles that transform how teams work and relate.
TeamOps was built for all teams, remote, hybrid, or office, and can also help open source projects become more efficient, more transparent, and more open.
Raimund Hook is a Fullstack Engineer in the Contributor Success team at GitLab. His GitLab journey started in 2017 when he started using and advocating for GitLab adoption in his company. Having previously dabbled in open source (in particular, contributing to the OpenStack Kolla-Ansible project) he started contributing some changes to GitLab. Building confidence along the way (including learning ruby) he has also contributed to python-gitlab. He went on to join the GitLab Heroes program in 2021, followed by joining the GitLab team in August 2022.
Before his time in the GitLab and DevOps worlds, he spent his earlier career as a network engineer at a large service provider in South Africa, developing a passion for automation.
