I'm Japanese and let me answer your question about Japanese airsofts not having metal slides.
As you know Japan has strict gun related laws and one of them states that making an imitation gun is also illegal. The definition of an "imitation gun" includes having a metal piece for its essential part as an "imitation gun."
This is a pretty old law that hasn't been reviewed for decades so doesn't really fit to the current airsoft manufacturing but the major airsoft manufactures in Japan are being safe and not having metal slides so that their airsofts won't be considered "imitation guns".
I read somewhere that they do this so that the imitation can't be converted into a real gun, is this true?

I'd run two of them along with P Chan with NO SHAME. Llenn is such a badass and awesome character I wished GGO had it's own full series.
It'd be hilarious to see a smaller female airsofter dress just like Llenn with P Chan and two Vorpal Bunnies running around the field. I really think it would scare the hell out some players.

The WE barrels all move. They are made that way. It is perfectly normal for WE pistols to do that.

I think green gas is fine for Tokyo Maruis is fine if you just take care of your gun and once it breaks you probably could just upgrade it with some part.
