What is PCB Panelization? | PCB Knowledge

PCB panelization is the technique of manufacturing a collection of PCBs together on a single larger panel. V-Scoring and Tab routing are two common depanelization methods to seperate individual boards after panel production.

DO NOT order panelized pcb's from PCBway. I prepared my panelized order, added to chart, everything was fine when I moved to payment stage the price went from 5 dollars to 28 dollars. I asked the customer support many questions, the final answer was "panelization is expensive". My PCB size was 40x30 mm and panelized as 2x3. So, the panel size was smaller than 100x100 mm. I ordered the same pcb in the same conditions from the other well-known Chinese pcb producer. The price was 2 dollars, they added 5 dollars engineering fee for panelization (quite understandable) and the total cost was 7 Dollars for 5 pieces of 2x3 panelized pcb (30 boards).
