OMG I grew up in Ohio, mostly around Columbus/Delaware/Worthington etc. When you mentioned "COSI", I had a flurry of great old memories. For future reference, COSI stands for Center of Science and Industry. It is an **amazing** place for "kids of all ages" and most especially ones with certain disabilities (AD/HD, autism, other spectrums, etc). There are just a plethora of things to see, touch, smell, hear, play with... OMG I just love that place!!

I actually LOLed when you said "Holy Static!". I live in the Midwest and static has been terrible! I have to spend an extra two to three hours de-staticking when I kit up and then static maintenance as I go along. It's RIDONKULOUS. LOL
I'm in Chicago and yea that artic blast or Polar vortex or whatever you want to call it is no joke! When the air seriously hurts you know it's too cold. I love the idea of working on one dragon kit each month that is so fun! Safe travels! ✈️🌬️

I appreciate you doing a WIP n’Chat this week. I do look forward to starting my week off by listening to your stories. But I understand completely if there aren’t always a video. As for me, I’m working on “All Dogs Do Go To Heaven” by Mandie Monzano fromDAC. This DP has been in my stash for almost 2 years. It was a painting that I knew that I’d know the time that it was right to do it. Well, my 17 year old dog crossed the rainbow bridge in September. I suddenly felt this was the right time to do it. I’ve gotten to the place where I smile more often than cry when I see his pictures. Funny thing is I started this on 8th and he visited me in my dreams just a few days ago. I hadn’t seen him in my dreams since his passing. It was good seeing him, in his prime. I may sound crazy explaining it that way, but my heart was touched and it meant a lot to me. Perhaps it’s just the DP being cathartic. I hope your flights went well without delays. 🛩️
I’m so sorry for your loss 💛 I think it’s so sweet that he visited you in your dreams! I found comfort in that when our dog passed away too. I hope you keep healing and finding closure and happiness through your diamond painting, too. Hugs!

Si nice you got to be back home for a few days! I lived going to COSI when I was growing up. The schools take the kids on field trips there every year so my grandkids get to go. I live 60 miles south of Columbus . I grew up in Columbus and I know how your feeling about your parents retiring and wanting a smaller place. When my parents sold our house which they built when I was in 5th grade I was so sad. I can't even drive past it to this day..😢 Glad you made it home! It is still very, very cold here!✈️

✈️ hope you safe flight back. I’m currently working on Purnell. We decided to need to do a serious purge here. We’re starting next week. We are also in the transitioning of moving my Freshman into a bigger room and make his current room in to my escape room to Diamond Paint. Hopefully by end of Spring we will have completed our purge and small room renovations. ❤❤
COSI -Center of Science & Industry. LOVED taking my kids and grandkids there. We downsized in 2017 and bought a condo. My kids took it surprisingly well. My grandkids didn't take it as well. The worst one was my ex-husband, who hadn't lived there in 28 years. Sheesh! Keep all things that are dear to your heart. My mom had been giving me some of my grandmother's things and I cherish them.
It was fun listening to your ✈️ adventures. It is always fun to travel home. I am working on “He Is Risen” by Dona Geisinger. It is a lot of fun. It’s a square and I love square kits.

✈️ Sounds like you had a great trip. I live in southern Michigan and it’s cold. I lost my natural gas for two days so no heat or hot water. I was thankful for electric so I could run a few small heaters to stay warm. Hope you had safe travels home. I’m almost done with DAC - Guardians of the Lakes.
Oh man Co-Sci! I used to go there as kid--we took a few girl scout trips (and maybe did a sleepover or two?) from Michigan. I love your dragon idea. I'm a little burnt out on events but something like that could be fun. I mean I only do about one a month, so wouldn't do one every month, but might make a point to do a dragon here and there :)✈
You kept be company during breakfast and chores. It was probably for the best that you didn't ask Southwest this time. Hopefully on a future trip the weather is more cooperative and they can do something fun for Connor on the plane. Weather waivers aside I'm glad to hear the trip was good. When I'm in Cincinnati to visit my Dad's side of the family the first thing I do is make a stop at White Castle and some time during the trip I like to get Skyline Chili. Gotta go to work. I hope you got home safely and you were able to leave Ohio. This is mostly because my state (which is Kentucky) was affected by the Arctic Blast and supposedly it’s worse in the states that’s north of Kentucky. ✈️

This is my first painting with square diamonds and I am delighted! I hope your flight is smooth and your return home is safe. We had freezing rain this morning, a windshield of 25 this afternoon, and it’s predicted to be 19 not counting the windshield when I put my kids on the bus in the morning. While nothing like most of the country, with being from Southern California, I’m sure you can sympathize with my distaste of the artic blast! 🥶

Yesss it’s an NPC convo in Mass Effect 2! It cracks me up so much, I came across it by accident when I set down the controller to send a text, and the convo kept rolling and I was dying laughing 😂
Year of the dragon huh?!? I was apparently born in the Year of the Rat. When people found out....oh my gosh! The puns!! "I smell a rat" or "someone needs to contact the pied piper" or "you ratbag" & "oh are you pinky or the brain" & I'm like...seriously...we're doing this now?🙄😒🤣 But as I got got by my friends & I'm offered cheese crackers every.single.time, I decided to read up on the zodiac spirit animals. Heh heh heh heh!😁 Guess what I found?!? In the Japanese version, God invited 13 spirit animals incl. the domesticated cat, not the tiger, even though the tiger is feline. But the rat despised all cats & since he was too intelligent to know not to mess with the tiger, he decided to mess with Dolche & Skip's ancestor!! On the day of the feast while everyone was getting ready, the rat visited the cat's place & asked what he was doing? The cat replied "getting ready to go for this feast but I feel so tired" the rat gives the cat a fake smile & says "If you're tired then it's just as well that I decided to visit you" the cat asks "why?" The rat smiles & says "because the banquet is tomorrow silly, not today". But the fact was the banquet was on that day. The rat tricked the cat & the cat went to sleep purring along. Then the cunning rat knew he did not want to be the last one at the banquet so he thought....& look who comes walking past....the spirit of the Ox. The rat stopped him & said "hey, how about you give me a ride & I'll be your look out & see that you are heading the right way. The Ox agreed. The Ox was also tricked by the rat & because the Ox was short tempered, not even the crouching tiger nor the hidden dragon wanted to be gored by the Ox's incredibly large horns. The rat chose well, the Ox was among the first to reach the temple. But the rat jumped off him & reached the banquet quicker & was the first one to sit beside the God. All the other spirit animals laughed at the Ox for being gullible. But God waited for Dolche & Skip's ancestor, but he never showed up. So, God got so mad at the audacity of the cat to not show up, that he kicked him out of the Zodiac spirit animals whatsaap group. Ox was mad, but the rat became the God's favourite so the Ox wouldn't dare touch him now. But when the cat woke up & found out he was tricked & kicked out unfairly. He vowed to kill the rat! And even to this day...the enemity & vengence between the cat & the rat remains. THE END xx If you want to do dragon painting every month this year because you love the idea, then in the words of the infamous diamond painter-ress "If you love it, then I love it for you❤"😉🥰

COSI -Center of Science & Industry. LOVED taking my kids and grandkids there.
We downsized in 2017 and bought a condo. My kids took it surprisingly well. My grandkids didn't take it as well. The worst one was my ex-husband, who hadn't lived there in 28 years. Sheesh!
Keep all things that are dear to your heart. My mom had been giving me some of my grandmother's things and I cherish them.
It was fun listening to your ✈️ adventures. It is always fun to travel home. I am working on “He Is Risen” by Dona Geisinger. It is a lot of fun. It’s a square and I love square kits.

✈️ Sounds like you had a great trip. I live in southern Michigan and it’s cold. I lost my natural gas for two days so no heat or hot water. I was thankful for electric so I could run a few small heaters to stay warm. Hope you had safe travels home. I’m almost done with DAC - Guardians of the Lakes.
Oh man Co-Sci! I used to go there as kid--we took a few girl scout trips (and maybe did a sleepover or two?) from Michigan. I love your dragon idea. I'm a little burnt out on events but something like that could be fun. I mean I only do about one a month, so wouldn't do one every month, but might make a point to do a dragon here and there :)✈

You kept be company during breakfast and chores. It was probably for the best that you didn't ask Southwest this time. Hopefully on a future trip the weather is more cooperative and they can do something fun for Connor on the plane. Weather waivers aside I'm glad to hear the trip was good. When I'm in Cincinnati to visit my Dad's side of the family the first thing I do is make a stop at White Castle and some time during the trip I like to get Skyline Chili. Gotta go to work. I am totally (unplanned) following your dragon theme! my current wip is chance encounter it has a tiny dragon, And I am mid move to an other state ( from SC to CT) and the only other kit I have with me is bee keeper so another dragon 🐉 . I hope you got home safely and you were able to leave Ohio. This is mostly because my state (which is Kentucky) was affected by the Arctic Blast and supposedly it’s worse in the states that’s north of Kentucky. ✈️
I'm still struggling through Tiger Mantra 😅 after it's done, I'll need a kit with little to no 310's in it 🤣 plus I still have my other WIP, Christmas Eve at the Workshop by Dakota Daetwiler to complete, both WIPs are square so I'm thinking I'll work on a round just to get a break from squares. I grew up in Newark and have family in Sunbury. I remember going to COSI, and it was a lot of fun. I hope you made it home easily, avoiding the arctic blast. On the home thing… whenever I hear The House That Built Me by Miranda Lambert it immediately takes me back there.

Hi Katie! I'm currently working on a painting with the image of my dog, I received this painting from my friend for Christmas and I am absolutely in love. This is my first painting with square diamonds and I am delighted! I hope your flight is smooth and your return home is safe. I love flying and I miss it very much, but during the holidays I hope to fly somewhere with my husband. As for books, I'm currently reading A Court of Mist and Fury and oh my, I'm absolutely addicted to this series! I wish you a nice day and I'm glad I found your channel. You are amazing! ✈️

You shouldn’t feel obligated to put out content, or feel like you can’t take a break, or make content if you’re not enjoying it. As for the artic blast, I live in Florida. We had freezing rain this morning, a windshield of 25 this afternoon, and it’s predicted to be 19 not counting the windshield when I put my kids on the bus in the morning. While nothing like most of the country, with being from Southern California, I’m sure you can sympathize with my distaste of the artic blast! 🥶

Yesss it’s an NPC convo in Mass Effect 2! It cracks me up so much, I came across it by accident when I set down the controller to send a text, and the convo kept rolling and I was dying laughing 😂

Year of the dragon huh?!? I was apparently born in the Year of the Rat. When people found out....oh my gosh! The puns!! "I smell a rat" or "someone needs to contact the pied piper" or "you ratbag" & "oh are you pinky or the brain" & I'm like...seriously...we're doing this now?🙄😒🤣 But as I got got by my friends & I'm offered cheese crackers every.single.time, I decided to read up on the zodiac spirit animals. Heh heh heh heh!😁 Guess what I found?!? In the Japanese version, God invited 13 spirit animals incl. the domesticated cat, not the tiger, even though the tiger is feline. But the rat despised all cats & since he was too intelligent to know not to mess with the tiger, he decided to mess with Dolche & Skip's ancestor!! On the day of the feast while everyone was getting ready, the rat visited the cat's place & asked what he was doing? The cat replied "getting ready to go for this feast but I feel so tired" the rat gives the cat a fake smile & says "If you're tired then it's just as well that I decided to visit you" the cat asks "why?" The rat smiles & says "because the banquet is tomorrow silly, not today". But the fact was the banquet was on that day. The rat tricked the cat & the cat went to sleep purring along. Then the cunning rat knew he did not want to be the last one at the banquet so he thought....& look who comes walking past....the spirit of the Ox. The rat stopped him & said "hey, how about you give me a ride & I'll be your look out & see that you are heading the right way. The Ox agreed. The Ox was also tricked by the rat & because the Ox was short tempered, not even the crouching tiger nor the hidden dragon wanted to be gored by the Ox's incredibly large horns. The rat chose well, the Ox was among the first to reach the temple. But the rat jumped off him & reached the banquet quicker & was the first one to sit beside the God. All the other spirit animals laughed at the Ox for being gullible. But God waited for Dolche & Skip's ancestor, but he never showed up. So, God got so mad at the audacity of the cat to not show up, that he kicked him out of the Zodiac spirit animals whatsaap group. Ox was mad, but the rat became the God's favourite so the Ox wouldn't dare touch him now. But when the cat woke up & found out he was tricked & kicked out unfairly. He vowed to kill the rat! And even to this day...the enemity & vengence between the cat & the rat remains. THE END xx
