You know the old saying, "There's never a cop around when you need one." Well, in THIS case, it was great that there WAS a cop there when the Taxi driver needed one.

Right. the second I see someone approaching my vehicle with a bat in hand, and unless they are right outside of a baseball field then I am gunning the engine. I will be clipping them at the least, or running them over. specially if they have a vehicle parked like that.
I really enjoyed that, even though he did technically encourage him to go the way they couldn’t get out, he was calm, trying to keep his son calm, all while giving reasonable suggestions. Really liked that man.
What an imbecile, "go further into the fire" , "let's get out here", his son; "Dad we can't" then immediately realising what an asinine decision that was "we can't get out here" hahaa
I started crying when I saw the guy in the car getting robbed. Reminded me of when I worked at a gas-station 20yrs ago and was robbed. Scariest moment of my life.
5:56 this poor old cab driver man. He’s just trying to do his job, helping people get around town. He’s made it this far in life and you can tell he has genuine fear and wants to keep his life. So happy the officer was there that day. I’d hope the robber wouldn’t have hurt the man, but who knows.
I'm so impressed by the father with his son in the forest fire. His calm is probably the only reason they were able to get through that alive. This was my first experience with this guy's videos and they are WILD.
John Hansell The safety measures that deploy when caught in a "Burn Over" absolutely amazed me. Cocooning yourself in the cab with fire proof and heat proof curtains and having water jets spray the vehicle to keep it cool..... Who thought of that ? They deserve the highest medal of honour, brilliant just brilliant.
Yes the one with the wildfire and the truck literally scared me so much like it started from one side than jumped from the other side in like 2 seconds it’s crazy how it can spread so easily Glad he’s safe after that.
The one where the police officer was behind that driver getting robbed sent chills down my spine. When the driver cried out that the officer was a life saver almost sent me crying. I can’t imagine how scared he was. I’m glad it turned out in the way it did. People can be scary….
Why does everyone act like most people are just selfish evil assholes. I’ve seen so many disaster videos and next to every single one of them there’s people immediately helping. Most humans are naturally heroes who will help one another.
The father and son was absolutely insane! Kudos to the dad for keeping calm. You could hear in the son's voice how absolutely terrified he was. You are an amazing father sir! Edit (a year later): some of yall have no compassion or class...be better.
That wasn't a child on the road. That was a robot or a mechanical thing. It's intended to get you to slow down and stop your car, get out and investigate. If you do this, people come out from the woods to rob you of your car. Don't stop. EVER.
I agree it wasn't a child. Maybe something fallen off the back of a truck. I live in Australia, kids don't just come out of no where like that. Never heard of any cases here where people have been lured out of their car like this. Good on the guy to alert the police though he would have been driving fast and concentrating to think it was anything else.
It certainly didn't look like a human. I suspect it was a remote controlled tyre thief designed by NASA and operated by aliens. There are loads where I live. Often they're invisible.
When will people learn that if someone blocks your way and gets out of their car with the intention of robbing or hurting you just run those idiots down. Better them than you.
All they had was base ball bats too. Once I noticed thats all they had its game over. I wouldnt kill them but I would hold them at gun point while I called the cops. Maybe I would put a few rounds in their van so they know its loaded

It’s not like she’s gonna have much money or valuables, plus you’re in the middle of the road so other people would come to see what’s blocking all the traffic. The robber was also so blind that he couldn’t even see an obvious cop car right behind him…
As an Aussie, the Australian bushfire made me hold my breath, it’s absolutely terrifying how fast those flames can travel. A chilling video, as were the rest. Amazing content man.
I was going to say that fire looked like it had a mind of its own like it was coming after those firefighters I didn't think fire could move that quickly I mean I've seen a house fire before but it was through woods and just that was crazy
When I clicked on this video I was expecting ghost sightings and cryptid stuff, which to me isn't that scary. Instead, I get truly terrifying footage of actual events. I love that you explain what happened after the video and don't leave us wondering.
Nah ghost videos are even scarier for me since I've seen one before you probably won't believe me but the ghost that I saw litterly made me scared of any ghost for the rest of my life because I alsways feel like any supernatural thing could happen I simply can't explain how the ghost that I saw even exists

It's hard to stay calm like that in such a situation when you're not a fire fighter or trained (although maybe he was?). Had they both panicked idk if they would have made it out of there, damn

@@pangolinrendangered5683 Except going to a lake is generally a stupid idea unless you have no other choice. It's a well-known phenomena that lakes can start to BOIL when wildfires reach them when it gets hot enough. People are acting like simply staying put was an option or something.
That cab driver robbery video is very old but I can't help but smile how fortunate the driver was. And the cop probably remembers this case as one of his highlights in his career.
Imagine the animals who experience this every time this happens...and burn alive....I would not want to be in the shoes of neither the 2 guys'...or the animals' 🤧💔
I live down a long drive in the woods. My brother can't understand why I keep the brush and dead trees away from the drive. In case of fire I have a path.
The creepiest part in the child on the highway video for me wasn't the mysterious figure spotted on dash cam, but the police guy that told the truck driver the child has been collected safely. Who was this police guy and why would he claim that?
@@drizzy3221 Realistically it probably was a device loosely disguised as a 'child' to get truckers to stop. A very common scam like this happens in certain parts of the country. The actual design of the traps vary, but they're definitely getting more creative as you see. Shit bothered me for a few nights, haha.
The Glacier Fire clip really makes me laugh. Only because that's the most chill Dad-like reaction to a deadly situation that I've ever heard. The son is like "We're gonna die!" and the Dad is like "We're fine. Relax!" while driving through hellfire.
That dad during the fire is one hell of a man keeping himself calm and his son....I greatly admire the shit out of him for how he conducted himself 👏🏾👏🏾
@@Roman-fb9mq Well he probably didn't think there was any other option and wanted to get out asap. Can you blame him? (jk, the internet always finds a way to blame someone)
@@davefred wanted to get out asap? No other way out. Moving right through the middle of a forest fire when the son was clearly saying let's go back and the dad didn't listen one bit. The son was right in the end.
There’s something about real-time footage such as these that will always be more unsettling than any scary story tbh. Maybe because these are more grounded in reality and feel like they can actually happen, instead of just a spooky tale that’s more or less left up to your imagination.
The worst part about the firefighters in Australia….they are volunteers. The rural fire service is woefully underfunded but they do incredible work & have saved thousands of lives & homes.
@弱水三千 No, our firefighters eat the volunteers 😋 😉🤭😆.Seriously though, they have pagers and have to live so many miles from the station. They do get paid per/hr while at fires or meetings but nothing near the $$$$ a professional firefighter gets paid. And they do have to be trained, in my state anyway.
God 💕Help us the Son in the Wild Fire said 🙏 To escape that terrible Wild Fire God 🙏 the Most High work sending his angels to protect them! 💕 Praise the Lord!
But it was the son who saved their lives... If the dad would have listened to the son from the get go, they wouldn't have needed to back-up the entire way.
A hero? Just keep going is what the dad keeps saying. They shouldn’t have gone in to a burning woods if you can see the fire. They could’ve suffocated themselves because of the air outside that gets inside the car. Just a veeeeery ffin dumb move. They just very lucky to get out safely. But if I’d be a dad I wouldn’t even go in with my son so what heroness are you talking about?
@@Joopfyi Nope he's right,if that was indeed the only path then trying to flee before the fire got even worse was the right thing to do. And he's not a hero for that,it's because of how calm and composed he was, ie,he could think clearly and he was keeping his son from freaking out. That's why he's a hero.
Something about that fire slowly emerging from the smoke to reveal such immense blaze hit me right in the primal fear. Like fight or flight mode, except this is that rare case where Mother Nature doesn’t give you an option. Except live or die. Legitimately terrifying force
my dad is a retired firefighter and he always told me that forest/bush fires are by far the most scary things. He would say that they burn so quickly that if youre without your truck, your dead. you can not out run it. i always thought that was a bit of a stretch but from seeing this video, you can clearly see how fast that shit burns. pretty wild
That fire was nuts! Im so in awe at how the father kept calm and reassured his son through that ordeal. I would have probably been like the son , almost in panic. Im so glad they found a lake and a boat!!
I am also so in awe with him because so great how he leads them more and more into a huge forest fire instead of going somewhere else until they finally have to back out.
But the father is the one who led them into that situation in the first place! Hell, he wanted them to get out, put on gloves, and move the burning tree! The son never wanted to go into the fire. "Then we die," absolute tosh.
Watching that person just sit there when those guys roadblocked, and tried robbing him with bats was so frustrating. You're in a car, you win that fight every time. Step on the gas and if they're in the way it's their problem. No way I'm letting some freak on the side of the road determine my fate.
It might surprise you, guys, but very few people are capable of running other humans over with their car on purpose even in situation such as the one in the video.
idk about legislation everywhere, but here it would be seen as manslaughter regardless of their threatening, i would’ve definitely been cautious to not run them over until they start actually attacking … which kinda sucks bc honestly i would want to hit the gas really bad
I don't know why but the fire fighter one was absolutely terrifying seeing the fire come closer and hearing the fire truck in front yelling Mayday Mayday was so terrifying
Guarantee that robber was never going to shoot him no matter what happened. I bet that dude was just as scared as the taxi driver. You can here it in his voice.

It wouldn’t have mattered if the 2 guys with baseball bats were caught if I had been driving, I would have just run them down. I’ve seen a few videos where thieves/ car jackers have used similar ploys only to find themselves getting run over or trapped against the decoy vehicle because the potential victim decided their life was more important than a working car.
The son and his father driving through the fire gave me horrible anxiety. I felt the sons fear myself I kept saying out loud “don’t go…don’t go” my husband is like they can’t hear you. 😱
The older generation (the dad) displayed a calm, clear thinking demeanor, the kid… not sure of his age probably would’ve been in bad shape without his dad. Controlling fear and anxiety is not optional for survival in life threatening situations, some have it, some don’t.
Im really loving these. Not just because the clips themselves are good but because they're really varied. From crime to natural disasters to some mysterious ones, they never get old. Here's hoping you keep them coming.
That fire was insane. I can’t believe they reversed through all that too. I would have like to see the dash cam for that. That Dad has nerves of steel and led his son and encouraged him. What a memory that’ll be for them.
He has nerves of steel and is extremely stupid in my opinion. Trees could have fallen or the tires could start melting. But hey being so calm leading both of you more and more into the fire until you have to back out because of a fallen tree and then go to a lake, so encouraging

I'm glad the third one had a happy ending. The driver seemed like a genuinely sweet man, and I'm glad he got out of that situation mostly unscathed. Props to him for being relatively calm as well.
The taxi driver video made me really sad because of how common these situations are. My dad is an Uber driver and he’s been held at gunpoint before. The amount of horror stories I hear from him is insane. Props to those who continue that line of work.
That's why I only do food delivery and no ride sharing, and always avoid cities when possible. And I carry pepper spray mixed with tear gas, keeping in mind the wind's direction when I'm outside my car. The can is tested and working, and I've trained myself to whip it out, undo safety and pull very quickly (without spraying it outside the initial test run though). Sometimes I take an order but didn't realize beforehand where the destination actually is within/around the city. Not that I'd try to spray someone with a gun on me, but if someone's coming at me with a short-range weapon, or trying to beat me manually, I'll at least be able to tag 'em as I'm backing away before running - with good accuracy, relative calm-mindedness, and an advantageous wind direction, this would temporarily and likely disable the threat. Pepper spray is fucking awful to the one being sprayed. Everyone I've seen in videos spray themselves to test just how bad it is regrets it immediately and deeply. But as always, running is the best option when possible. Weapons in the hands of unhinged people are no joke.

The cop behind the cab robbery... Instant karma at its finest. Ive seen this clip before and every time, I feel so horrible for this man and such gratitude for the officer and the fact that he most likely just saved the man's life.
The dad deserves a medal for keeping his cool in the face of the fire and his son freaking out. I get panicking but I found myself in a similar situation except during a flash flood and while I would have normally lost my cool over less it's almost like once you break past that point where your survival instincts just kick in you just get calm. But I also had passengers in the car and they were losing their s***, and that was just as hard to deal with as navigating the waters without getting washed away
I've had pistols aimed at my head, I've had my life threatened by people I full well knew would follow through and I've been in some near miss car crashes. I am most comfortable in those situations than simply talking to a stranger. I become more calm and immediately start thinking of a solution instead of panicking. One of my brothers was with me in one of these almost car crashes. We were on the highway and the vehicle in front of me came to a sudden stop, my immediate reaction as I came to a stop was making an assessment of all the vehicles around me and to see what was going on behind me. There was a van speeding towards me and I predicted a collision. I was at the left most lane so I could have moved to the left and tried to drive away but there was no time for that, if I did that the van would have crashed on the vehicle in front of me and i did not want that so I squeezed my vehicle towards the middle of the highway hoping that this would give the driver of the van a clear choice and I was glad to learn he/she understood and quickly swerved the van to the left side and ended up stopping just past my own vehicle and we all moved on safely after the jam ended. My brother said "I am glad you were driving, I would have clenched the steering wheel and frozen in place". I had less than 2 seconds to analyze the situation and come to my decision.
I absolutely love that a police officer was sitting in traffic directly behind this taxi driver. This robber got exactly what he deserved. A prison sentence.

I had a similar experience once. We used to have a sex offender live in our neighborhood when I was a kid. He would ride his bike up and down the street sometimes. I was outside playing with my cousins and brother one day at my cousin’s house and he stopped and started asking us for directions. My dad had warned me if an adult ever stopped to ask for directions from us to get an adult, because nobody would ask directions from a kid, so I offered to get my uncle while moving us closer to the house, and my uncle saw the guy through the window and came outside. I understand what you mean. After being behind the wheel during such an incident and following his father directions. He's probably going to be like his father if he's ever in a similar situation.
The one being chased by that DUI axe wielding dude was scary as hell. I had a similar situation where our vehicle broke down and we were pushing it on a dimly lit road when all of a sudden a drunken dude came out of nowhere holding a huge rock about to throw at us blaming us for stealing his dog. Fortunately his wife ran after him and held him back then apologized to us
There was one shown from a YTer called Doughnut Operator. A police officer was just doing a routine traffic stop when some dude pulled up right next to the cop, got out of his car, and tried to kill him with an axe. The crazy axe man had no relations to anyone involved. I imagine the person getting traffic stopped seeing all of that unfold probably pissed themselves a 'lil bit. PS: Cop and the traffic stopped person are fine. The cop shot axe man rather fast because of how suspect getting a car pulled up to you outta nowhere was. So the cop already had his hand on his hip prior to that literal random event.
He saved him by forcing him to drive into the middle of a huge fire and then getting him stuck? It's a miracle they could reverse back out and survive.
I really appreciate how you share all of the details. Like if there were criminal charges or what happened to the victim after the event. A lot of youtubers just share the clips & it's frustrating not knowing what the outcome was.
my dad was a fire fighter. He once was in a situation like this and he explained the whole story. It goes like this. he was driving to a call where a building had caught fire in the woods. He told me the trees around it were on fire and were falling over! It really makes you want to cry when the old man starts crying in relief when the police officer investigates and begins making the arrest. Criminals are deadbeat scum. It really goes to show you have to be unlucky yet lucky enough to have a police officer nearby at the right place at the right time. Also really puts into perspective what police officers really could be doing while some prankster on RUclips wastes their time pulling off illegal pranks for some likes.
Quit being raycist please. Those cops kept that blkk man from feeding his family that day, hes just trying to survive in an oppressive system made by wytes. Its wytes fault
I get what you’re saying, he could be a father trying to feed his children. But for a moment, think about what would have happened if this cab driver had a heart attack and fire? Suppose he had a sick wife at home? If the guy robbing him, did in fact nit have a job, but had children at home to feed, real men would work three part time jobs to do what he had to do. Stealing from someone will never put food on the table.
Fire can spread stupidly, insanely fast, specially given the right circumstances. In fields where it has been in a severe drought it can get out of hand fast.

I mean, the robber was a literal idiot, trying to rob him with a cop car right behind. The taxi driver is terrible under pressure

I was a little creeped out but didn't think much of it. I went inside to tell my mom and came back outside just to see him speed away at the sight of my mom. I guess he didn't think an adult was home because her car was parked across the street. I was shaken up a little but soon forgot about it. The next day, my mom and sister left and I was home alone. I was playing Xbox when I heard my dog start barking like crazy. U went downstairs to get her to shut up when I saw the man from yesterday in a white van. This is when I got scared. My dog continud to bark until he drove away. I've never been more greatful for my dog. I was just a 13 year old girl at the time and wouldn't have been able to defend myself. My dad had warned me if an adult ever stopped to ask for directions from us to get an adult, because nobody would ask directions from a kid, so I offered to get my uncle while moving us closer to the house, and my uncle saw the guy through the window and came outside.
