If you imagine he’s pulling back his right shoulder in prep to draw his pistol it kinda makes sense
+1 to this comment. After setting mine up, all my initial worries were gone.. I definitely think it was an intentional posture because his signature move was to do a quick draw, so I guess they wanted it to be a walk + draw. If not, they wouldn’t have made one fist clenched and the other ready to pull at the holster.

Personally love the pose. It’s like he’s in a stand off and is on edge to draw his pistol. Notice the hand there is open for a quick grab. The cape is also blown back and out the way. Western style right there man. I love it.

Jorge, man your reviews never disappoint. I will say your opinion held a lot of weight for me because you tend to be pretty critical (which I like). I honestly didn't expect you to like this piece as much as you did especially as someone who owns the Iron Studios version. That tells me there's some potential here. The thing that bugs me even more than the pose is the sculpt work on the pants, particularly around the crouch/zipper area. Okay, okay, let me explain... not being Mr. Pervy Pants here. What I'm referring to is the way the fabric is sculpted. It just seem too smooth and the folds that are there just seem off to me. As for the base, I dig it. I like how it forms the mythosaur skull. It's subtle but there. Now one thing Sideshow could have done was make a low EX version with a damaged Storm Trooper helmet that could be placed on the base. That's the kind of simple thing Sideshow is known to include with their statues, much like the rebel helmet and blaster that came with their Rogue One Vader PF. All in all you've given me something to think about. I decided on the Hot Toys 1/4 Mando as I thought that would be the best quarter scale option, outside Iron Studio's amazing Mando (ugh, hate I missed out on that one). But now I'm not too sure.

Definitely too high of an edition size. For the cost 1500-2000 units should be the max. I still love the IS Mando over this one. The base is way better and overall execution. Only thing I like about Sideshows is the smoothness of the beskar. Thanks for the great review as always!

7,500 isn't exactly screaming limited edition or resale value however if you like it and want it go for it

Pose doesn't bother me I just love the dramatic cape compared to Iron studios just holding the baby yoda.

I have the iron studios one & prefer it over this. Although this piece is fine if you missed out on iron studios.
I think the pose is good, he is reaching for his gunn when walking.
7500 is a ridiculous es for this piece, that's mainly what's keeping me from buying it.

The pose if you know your stuff or the environment the character is walking or posing is into the heavy breeze or wind?!! Thus that cape flying high has his cape would be heavy leather?? Don’t like the pose splitting the community?? Know the character his environment not the catwalk,I like it the pricing is fine and it makes it affordable to everyone……..not the high in the sky snobs!! There’s over millions of fans worldwide who get that chance of having one atleast??

Does anybody else’s Mando statue have a weird paint affect around the chest plate? I’m pretty sure it’s part of the statue but it’s very noticeable and in my opinion, it doesn’t look good at all. So annoying because everything else with the statue is great.
That's very true about the ES. I would say 3500 MAX.
An 5:45 is 100% why I don't like there stuff that much. 7500es an for a basic human body they rotocast it. To save as much money as they can. It's these bs. I got a Vampirella PF an they did a bad job rotocasting it and when I got it in the mail it was smashed to pieces. I can understand that casting process if it was something like the Hulk or that body style. But for a basic size human. It's these because cheap.

IMHO, the iron studios blows this out of the water. The SS piece is cool, but that pose is hard to ignore, lol….
I also think the stretch marks in the front of the pants from his body twist makes the pose look much worse than it is, but that’s just me. Overall nice but he’s definitely walking down a catwalk
Crap pose + insanely dumb ES makes this a no for me
Overpriced and hollow. Should have gotten the hot toys instead.
