Hello thank you for the detailed review, I have a question. Can we use it for all types of clothes like some nylon or elastic type of Clothes, which may get reformed due to high temperature? Like elastic bands of cloth masks or some other dresses
Hi there! I have put my mask that has elastic band, for drying in it many times. Nothing has happened. Also track pants, that have elastic. No issues with it. I have put it in full heat mode. You can try with low heat setting initially and check. Hope this helps.
Sir,Thank you for the detailed useful explanation . You have already mentioned that clothes with musty smell can be dried here in the machine . Can you please let me know if dried clothes can be directly put into this machine or it has to be washed before putting into this dryer ?
Hi, great video. You got a new subscriber. Could you give an update on how it’s doing after 1 year of use? Also a little information on how much electricity it consumes approximately. Thank you. 🙏🏾
Hey there! Its doing great even today. 2 of my friends also have been using it for more than 3 years. I only had a minor problem with the lid closing as the small plastic hook that latches into the body broke after so many years. With some jugaad i am managing it to close. I believe it can be repaired, but I am just too lazy to call the service. Otherwise, its working great. Just need to make sure you clean the lint filter once in a while, else the drum can over heat and the safety button trips. After cooling and cleaning, once the button is reset, it works fine. During rainy season, it really helps a lot. Electricity consumption is 2.9kw. A little more than a standard water geyser i guess. Thanks for subscribing 😊👍🙏
Thank you 🙂. No, there is no vibration on this machine. But there is sound while it is operating, as the drum will rotate and also inside there is a blower.
Thank you 🙂🙏 No water source. There is an exhaust vent at the back and need to attach a flexible pipe and put it outside the window. Or keeping the drying near window is also fine. The moisture from inside the drum is expelled out thru this duct. Thanks for watching!
Thanks! I didn't notice any difference in rotation behaviour. No difference in noise in anticlockwise direction. There could be some noise due to buckle or button etc hitting the drum, perhaps it could hit only when in anticlockwise direction? Thanks for watching 😊👍🙏
Can you check the electricity units consumption for a cycle of full load using smart plug. I guess many people would be interested to see the video on power units calculation.
Does it consume 1 unit / hour? As per specs it’s having a heating element of 1.8KWh. So if heating element remains on for 1 hour it would consume 1.8 units plus some units for the spinning motor also needs to be considered.
What if power break.... Machine will not open the door or door can be open as generally in front load machine that happens? machine will not allow us to open the door... Ironing will be mandatory after this or it will come out wrinkle free?
During power break also, door can be opened. It may be very hot inside, so need to be a bit careful if planning to take out clothes while it is hot. There isn't a lock like front load washing machine. The timer will continue to run from where it left after the power is back. Ironing may not needed for polyester clothes. But cotton cant be worn without ironing. It will have wrinkles. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching 🙏🙂👍
What about the exhaust pipe? It looks big, so where is it fitted? Accordingly the dryer would need to be positioned in available space. That's important but missing from the video.
You are right. The exhaust pipe attaches at the back. I have not attached it as I have kept it next to the window. But if you attach it, it may need a bit more space for the pipe to bend and positioned.
Thank you!. I haven't fixed it as the vent on the back side is right next to the window. If its little far, perhaps it will be a good idea to attach the extension outlet.
Hi there! Thank you for the feedback! For synthetic and delicate fabrics, I would rather recommend to dry it on low heat setting. Personally, I have not seen any of my clothes shrink. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching 🙂👍
Hi! Yes. There is a vent at the back to expel the hot moist air. With the package, we also get a flexible pipe (spring type, expandable), that needs be connected at the back and the free end can be let out of window. I have not attached it, as i have kept the machine right next to an open window. Thanks for watching 😊👍🙏
Hi there! Yes, it is hung upside down. The provision of wall mounting supports only upside down. Also, when upside-down, the door opening is much lower compared to normal position, making it easy to access clothes. Hope this helps,! Thanks for watching 🙂. Please do subscribe👆 and like👍 this video! If it was useful!
@@TechnoShare Although you mention a front load washing machine, the video shows a top load machine. Is it ok to hang the dryer above a top loading washing machine?
Hi there! I am not sure specifically on the temperature. Dont have an infrared thermometer, else i could have measured it for you. However, from my experience of using the dryer, i can say that the drum gets hot, enough to burn your finger. I dont see a risk of fire hazard. There is overheating protection built-in. So if the drum gets overheated (if no ventilation in the room), then it automatically shuts off by releasing a red button. You need to press it back for it to start working again. It will start working again once the machine is cooled. Sorry, I am not sure of any vent free dryer or washer. Thanks for watching!! 👍🙏🙂
I have I FB too load washing machine . I wish to buy IFB dryer . Can it be fixed in wall above washing machine ? At what height you got it fixed ? Pls tell me the gap between the two in inches or feet . Is it easy to open and operate if fixed on wall ? The top load machine also needs space to open from top
From the floor, to the bottom of the IFB dryer, the height is 4 feet 6 inches. It could be mounted a little lower by 3 inches, as short people (5ft height) can find it a bit difficult to reach the clothes that are to the back, inside the drum of the dryer. But make sure you can open the lid of the top load washing machine. Another simple method to mount (if you have walls on either side of the dryer like I have in the video, but without the window) is just by creating a shelf space using a thick plywood or granite slab and just keeping the IFB dryer on it. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching :)
Hi there! Thank you so much for your comments 😊👍 There is no specific height requirements. Its upto the user comfort and user height, so that you can reach the door. Make sure the height is such that your arms can reach inside the drum to take out the clothes as well as to clean the filter inside. (located inside the drum). Thanks for watching 😊. Thanks bro, came here after looking at the product online. I am planning to buy one. Hope you would answer my query - 1. Is 60 mins sufficient for drying one load of cloth? 2. Do we have to dry light shade and dark shade clothes separately? 3. How much electricity done the product consume on a average? 4. Is the rotating drum well balanced so that there are no unwanted vibration? 5. How is the performance during heavy rainy days?
Hey there! Nice to hear that you plan to buy one too! Perhaps you would have bought it by now! 1. 60 mins is enough for lighter clothes. But jeans pants or thick garments may have some moisture if run only for 60 mins. I usually run it for 90 mins all times, on full heat. 2. I dont think you need to separate light and dark. I put all clothes in same batch. Nothing happens. 3. Electricity, I dont remember. Please check the description, I had mentioned it after referring in the user manual. 4. Yes, well balanced. Its not heavy as a washing machine. No vibrations at all. But there will be noise of the drum rotation and fan inside. 5. Same performance in all seasons bro. Takes same amount of time to dry. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching ☺️👍🙏
@@TechnoShare thanks again, I have purchased the same. It's too good. Now laundry is not spread across the whole house 😂. I have run the machine 2hrs per day and my electricity bill was around 700/- rupees more after running the whole month. Lint need to be cleaned often otherwise the machine would overheat and trip.
I use only once or twice a week. Should be minimal change in the consumption. Aa per spec the rated power consumption is 2.9kw. Didn't see much change in the electricity bill (my usage is less probably)
Very nice review. I am interested in buying an IFB TURBO DRY Dryer .. The Manual says that the wall-mounting kit needs to be purchased separately. Where did you purchase your wall-mounting kit?
Hey there. I didn't buy any wall mounting kit. There were 2 wall clamps provided in the package. I just used it to hang it to the wall. Nails (long screw) I bought it separately. Took help from a local carpenter to fix it. Just for additional support, he has provided a small L-angle clamp and wood plank at the bottom of the dryer. I believe, you may get 2 clamps to hang it to the wall. Download the user manual from the Internet and check the wall hanging instructions in that. They have described it there. Thanks for watching!
No bro. I wouldn't recommend. It would contain a lot of water and will take more time to dry, and also more units of electricity. Also, if too much water content in clothes, then it could leak inside drum or electric shock risk. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching 🙏👍☺️
Hi! Nope. I haven't seen any burning stuff in the machine. I mostly put cotton and polyester mix clothes. Haven't tried any delicate clothes like silk etc. Perhaps a lower heat setting for delicate clothes would be a good idea.
Lint is the common name for visible accumulations of textile fibers and other materials, usually found on and around clothing. Other small fibers or particles also accumulate with these clothing fibers, including human and animal hair and skin cells, plant fibers, and pollen, dust, and microorganisms. I have not see any damage to clothes. Clothes come out neat and warm to wear. I have heard from people that clothes will fade out over time. But I could not notice any in my experience. Choose the right heat setting as per the clothes type. (delicate, silk etc) Hope this helps! Thanks for watching 👍🙂
Hi there! Depends on the clothes. If its a polyester material, then it may not require ironing. Cotton clothes will require. T-shirts may not require ironing. Thanks for watching 😊. Do like 👍 subscribe👆 if the video was useful! Helps me a lot as well!!
If its located away from window, you will need to connect the vent and pipe to let the moist air out. Else your room would become very humid and moist. The machine also could overheat and stop.
How did you wall mount the machine? I also own the same dryer and it occupies a lot of space on the floor. It would be great if I could wall mount it too. Is there any chance of the machine falling off that wall mount?
It comes with clamps for fitting it to the wall. Can be inverted and hung to the clamp. The 2 clamps needs ro be fixes to the wall using screws. When inverted and hung, you can reach the door easily as it is positioned a little below at the front of the machine. You can Google for user manual pdf for this dryer and it describes clear instructions to wall mount. A flexible exhaust extension hose is also provided to route the hot air from back of machine to a window nearby. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching 🙂👍
Ok sir. Maine ek carpenter se fix karwa ya. Mujhe patha nai, agar wall mount ke liye extra dena hai ki nahi. Aap iFB call center ko call karke poochi ye. Shaayad details milja ye ga. Dhanyavaad!!
If it is an air tight room with no windows then you may have to make provision by drilling hole. If you have any windows in the room, then you can try keeping it open and see if it helps. If that window does not help in putting the moisture out, then you may need to drill the hole or make alternate provisions.
I have heard from people, that the clothes may get faded over time. But I couldn't really see any fading happening. Even if it were to, cant really say if its due to the dryer or due to the exposure of the clothes to pollution and dust outside or due to normal wear and tear with multiple washes. You can check on articles on the Internet for more info on this. Hope this helps.
Hi there! It can take upto 5.5kg. Around 10 tshirts or little more. I usually put a mix of tshirts, jeans, towels, inner wear, track pants etc. Jeans or heavier clothes require around 1.5 hrs to dry. Hope this helps.
Yes. Only Wall mount clamps were provided with the machine. The bottom support i got it done myself. Not a good idea to keep on washing machine, as washing machine may have vibrations during spin. Better to leave a gap in between and mount the dryer on top.
Hi there! Mine is an older model, that's currently not available. Two newer models with similar features are available on amazon. They are priced Rs.17299 and Rs.18490. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching 👍🙂
Hi there!! Below are the power consumption details. It will take atleast 60 mins to completely dry. If there are heavy clothes (thick fabric) like jeans or bedsheet, then 90 minutes may be needed. I think, 60 to 90 minutes is a decent time to dry it fully. Thanks for watching!! ► Energy Consumption : 2.9 Kw ► Motor Rating : 125W ► Heating Rate : 1.8Kw
Hi there! It cannot be mounted straight as the bracket holes at the back, are present at the bottom of the machine. Hence, the machine needs to be inverted. You can check the backside image of the machine on the flipkart product images (last image). dl.flipkart.com/dl/ifb-turbo-dry-maxi-dry-dryer/p/itme5yq22ezvyfes?pid=DYRE5YPZGPBMDQU8&cmpid=product.share.pp Not sure about shelf. Perhaps a carpenter can help. Need to bear the weight including the damp clothes as well.
hey buddy, i was searching for this and you did a awesome review... does this dry out the cloths completely just like the sun do ? is it OK if we use through out the year ?
Thank you for replying. Everyone here is asking one question about the electricity bill at the end of the month. You've kindly provided the power rating of the machine. Could you tell us how much it'll cost in electricity bill if the machine is run for 90 minutes twice a week? An approximate figure will help.
I have read in articles about fading. However, I did not notice much in my date to day use. It could be normal fading due to wash as well. Hard to tell if its specifically due to the dryer. Thanks for watching 👍🙂🙏
The door and control timer knob is placed towards the upper part of machine. If hung normally, the you cannot reach it to operate. Hence, they have made the provision to hang it upside down, so that it can be easily reached. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching 🙂🙏👍. Subscribe!
Hmm.. Thats a good question. Not sure of it. I think the fabric would have served its purpose by that time! I have heard from others that bright shirts fade over time. But I have not observed on this much.
Oh.. Ok. I initially had kept it on ground for few months. After that, I got it fixed from a carpenter, whom I had called for some other work. Dont remember exactly how much I paid.
It wont be a problem. I have been using it like this for many years now. Its specifically designed to mount upside down. Mentioned in the user manual also. Google for user manual and check the instructions once. The advantage is that the door can be reached easily, as it will be little lower. If mounted in normal position, door height will be high.
The IFB logo and autoreversing are stickers. So I pulled it and stuck it upside down. The timer remains the same. It does not matter which way the machine is kept. As one one half it is marked with minutes for less heat and other half is more heat.
@@TechnoShare thanks.. i purchased this today.. hoping to get it delivered tomorrow. Wall mounting I need to figure who can help.. I checked for horizontal brackets but can't find it anywhere.. will do same as you did.. get a carpenter to mount it.
@@dharmeshghelani You may want to check with the company, as they may do the installation or wall mounting. Like they do it these days for TV. Since I was using it on ground initially, I had to get it done by a carpenter at a later point of time. Also, the below support may not be necessary. Just for safety, I got it fixed. Its a L-Bracket. You can find it in hardware stores and also on amazon. On two such brackets, I have the horizontal plywood wooden plank fixed. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
Good question! Yes, the exhaust air deflector at the back (U shaped plastic) can be repositioned to point sideways, by removing 2 screws, and rotating it by 90 degrees, and attach the screws back.
Don’t buy this dryer. IFB support is worst on this product and product itself below average door switch breaks down often and costs Rs 1200 every time and warranty won’t cover. Don’t look at their 4 year warranty. It’s not worth it.
Hey there! The drum is light in weight. Not as heavy as washing machine. Also, it rotates very slowly. As such there is no vibration. Only bit of noise. So it can easily wall mounted to save space. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching 🙏👍😀

If its located away from window, you will need to connect the vent and pipe to let the moist air out. Else your room would become very humid and moist. The machine also could overheat and stop.
what is the power consumption of this dryer ?
pls reply
Energy Consumption : 2.9 Kw
► Motor Rating : 125W
► Heating Rate : 1.8Kw
Thank you for your review very simple and very helpful
You're welcome 👍🙂🙏
Very nice review. Explained the facts in detail. Thank you.

Excellent video, thank you for posting it.

Electricity consumption is how much?
It is around 2.9kw.
Any cons of mounting unit upside down
I dont see any cons. You will have ro position the exhaust bracket and pipe near the window accordingly.
Ifb wala 600rs mang raha h wall par fit krne k ?new liya h

Sir Can we keep it on the granite platform.
Below it is my front load washing machine
Yes. If the granite platform can hold its weight, it can be kept.
thx
Sir
Should we also make a hole in the wall for the vent pipe if there is no window near the drier machine .is it compulsory
If it is an air tight room with no windows then you may have to make provision by drilling hole. If you have any windows in the room, then you can try keeping it open and see if it helps. If that window does not help in putting the moisture out, then you may need to drill the hole or make alternate provisions.
Many thanks!Where is it available?
What is the approx electricity consumption ?

No info on power consumption and how expensive it works out
How much cost for this
Around Rs.18000 on Amazon India
Does it reduce the life of the clothes?
I have heard from people, that the clothes may get faded over time. But I couldn't really see any fading happening. Even if it were to, cant really say if its due to the dryer or due to the exposure of the clothes to pollution and dust outside or due to normal wear and tear with multiple washes. You can check on articles on the Internet for more info on this. Hope this helps.
Thank you very much for explaining so well.👍👍
You're welcome 👍🙏🙂
Total how many clothes can we dry at a time?
Hi there! It can take upto 5.5kg. Around 10 tshirts or little more. I usually put a mix of tshirts, jeans, towels, inner wear, track pants etc. Jeans or heavier clothes require around 1.5 hrs to dry. Hope this helps.
Hi..is it sufficient for family of 4
Hi! I think it should be sufficient.
Was the wall mount provided with the machine and is the machine stackable on a washing machine?
Yes. Only Wall mount clamps were provided with the machine. The bottom support i got it done myself. Not a good idea to keep on washing machine, as washing machine may have vibrations during spin. Better to leave a gap in between and mount the dryer on top.
Pls tell the exact price of dryer .
Hi there! Mine is an older model, that's currently not available. Two newer models with similar features are available on amazon. They are priced Rs.17299 and Rs.18490. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching 👍🙂
Thank u very much
Wattage of this dryer, and time is too long ?

@@TechnoShare not energy sufficient, in punjab electricity per unit rates is very high almost 11 rupees per unit
Can we wall mount it straight without tilting upside down?
If not, can we place this on a wall mounted wooden shelf supported by a strong bracket?
Hi there! It cannot be mounted straight as the bracket holes at the back, are present at the bottom of the machine. Hence, the machine needs to be inverted. You can check the backside image of the machine on the flipkart product images (last image). dl.flipkart.com/dl/ifb-turbo-dry-maxi-dry-dryer/p/itme5yq22ezvyfes?pid=DYRE5YPZGPBMDQU8&cmpid=product.share.pp
Not sure about shelf. Perhaps a carpenter can help. Need to bear the weight including the damp clothes as well.
@@TechnoShare Got your point. Thanks a lot for the video and the reply!
Extremely helpful and to the point review.
Thank you 🙂👍

How u set machine up side down
hey buddy, i was searching for this and you did a awesome review... does this dry out the cloths completely just like the sun do ? is it OK if we use through out the year ?
Hey there. Thank you!
Yes, this dries it 100%. Of course you can use it thru out the year! I use it regularly during all seasons 🙂
Very well done. The review is very helpful.
Thank you 🙂👍🙏
Thank you for replying. Everyone here is asking one question about the electricity bill at the end of the month. You've kindly provided the power rating of the machine. Could you tell us how much it'll cost in electricity bill if the machine is run for 90 minutes twice a week? An approximate figure will help.
How much electricity does it use?
Hi there! As per specification, the rated power consumption is 2.9 Kw. Thank you for watching 👍🙂
Nice !
Does the clothes lose quality colour as such?
I have read in articles about fading. However, I did not notice much in my date to day use. It could be normal fading due to wash as well. Hard to tell if its specifically due to the dryer. Thanks for watching 👍🙂🙏
Am i the only one thinking how u put ur machine on roof
he already said , he wall mounted. company provide clamps and screws
what about electricity bill?
► Energy Consumption : 2.9 Kw

how much time does it takes ?
Usually around 90 mins, it should dry heavy and thick clothes like jeans. If its just cotton, or nylon, it can dry in 60 mins. Thanks for watching 😊👍
@@TechnoShare thanks and what about electric consumption and maintenance?
@@mojorojo6 Its energy consumption as per specifications is 2.9kw. So it could take around 3 units of energy per hour.
Very nice description sir, thank you
Thank you 👍🙏🙂
Does it makes sound of rotating motor ?
Yes. There is sound from the motor. Also sometimes zip puller/slider in jackets/sweater etc hit the drum while being rotated and adds up to the sound.
Sir ifb dryer maxidry 550 belt ka number kya hai
Hi Sir. Belt ka matlab samjha nahi. Please elaborate
Why is it up side down?
The door and control timer knob is placed towards the upper part of machine. If hung normally, the you cannot reach it to operate. Hence, they have made the provision to hang it upside down, so that it can be easily reached. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching 🙂🙏👍. Subscribe!
I ordered it on Amazon post seeing your video. Hope i get a good machine
Congratulations on your purchase!
Does it completely dry clothes?
Yes, it completely dries it out. Can wear the clothes immediately, unless it doesn't need ironing.
@@TechnoShare Thanks 😊
@@TechnoShare Is it suitable for drying bed sheets?
Yes. I use it for drying betsheets as well. Cotton, single and double bedsheets. May take a little longer to dry around 1.30 hrs.
Is it suitable for woolen clothes
kitna price hai eska
Amazon pe Rs.18500/- hai.
What is the life of cloths if fabric particles are collected each and every time
Hmm.. Thats a good question. Not sure of it. I think the fabric would have served its purpose by that time! I have heard from others that bright shirts fade over time. But I have not observed on this much.
Very nicely explained
Thank you 👍🙂🙏
They charge Rs1600 for installing the same
Oh.. Ok. I initially had kept it on ground for few months. After that, I got it fixed from a carpenter, whom I had called for some other work. Dont remember exactly how much I paid.
Very helpful Thankyou so much
You're welcome 🙂👍🙏
Kisi v channel or video me es me kapde daal kr start kr k nhi dikhaya...k kaise chalta hai
If u keep ur machine upside down so it won't be a problem
It wont be a problem. I have been using it like this for many years now. Its specifically designed to mount upside down. Mentioned in the user manual also. Google for user manual and check the instructions once. The advantage is that the door can be reached easily, as it will be little lower. If mounted in normal position, door height will be high.
@@TechnoShare thank you
Price?
Around Rs. 17k - 18k

How did you get timer panel reading correctly inspite of having it hung upside down?
If you hang down wardside where will hot air vent go, down side or u need to relocate that too
Good question! Yes, the exhaust air deflector at the back (U shaped plastic) can be repositioned to point sideways, by removing 2 screws, and rotating it by 90 degrees, and attach the screws back.
Very nice
Your washing machine is top load lol not front load
Yes! I have a front load washing machine as well!
Don’t buy this dryer. IFB support is worst on this product and product itself below average door switch breaks down often and costs Rs 1200 every time and warranty won’t cover. Don’t look at their 4 year warranty. It’s not worth it.
Why dryers in india are so ugly looking..?
bcz it's cheap basic model. It's old technology. These are Vented Dryers. Next Condenser Dryer came . New technology is Heat Pump Dryer. Check them
How come on tile wall mounted?? No damage
Hey there! The drum is light in weight. Not as heavy as washing machine. Also, it rotates very slowly. As such there is no vibration. Only bit of noise. So it can easily wall mounted to save space. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching 🙏👍😀
