Great video, I love to see some of the old cars from my childhood still racing. It must be a pain in the ass to get parts for some of those. The 5 Cylinder Audi will always have a place in my heart, I'd rather have one of them than any Lambo or Ferrari - one of my colleagues had one 20 yrs back, I was so jealous.
This is because in Russia any road looks like a tough rally track and, naturally, cars made able to withstand 30 years of operation. Fiat, on which the lada was founded, fell apart on the test and had to significantly strengthen the body
@@araratisraelyan the car seems pretty balance and the setup really good the back of the car dont go wild like ford escort that thing can mantain grip and the oversteer really controlable doesnt need crazy skiled like ford escort probably because the lenght of the car axle
might be a bit of both, rally is usually a timed thing so drivers who mess up and ruin their time might just take the rest of the course with more of a flourish and appeal to the crowd
