I'm new to your channel, found you by accident searching for a knitting pattern. I am getting through episodes one by one and decided to play them on my 95" 4k TV instead of a computer screen. The colours are fantastic, and I highly recommend it. May I say I was sorry hear about your dear husband Andrew's passing, so very sad. My son James passed away about the same time so I know a little of what you are going through. It was through his death that I picked up knitting again after a ten year break from it, can't think why I ever gave it up when knowing now how much I love it. Thank you for the inspiration you gave to me and others.

I am overwhelmed by the excelence of this episode! A small documentary in danish culture, history, tradition, heritage and so on and so forth... I could have never imagined that a trip to Fanø Island would be so interesting. And Christel Seyferth's creativity is so astonishing... I don't have words to describe it. Thank you very much for such a precious piece of your work!!!❤

I always watch your videos with my 9 year old daughter, Audrey, who is also a knitter. This morning watching this episode she said "I like it when they post new videos, because then we know they're okay." The anxiety of things just now is clearly filtering through to kids. Lovely episode By the way, practically all Danish churches have model ships hanging in the nave. The nave is referred to as the ship of the church, where the congregation sits. This symbolizes the journey from earth to heaven, but also recalls bronze age and viking era burials in ship shaped stone spaces. I loved to see you in Fano garb - I had to pull out my own Fano scarves and try them on again.

"It's not about speed dolls" Good one Andrew. I love learning all these different ways of figuring out the correct gauge for this sweater. Kim of Fleece and Harmony also found it challenging. I'm learning a lot from your hard work! But not enough to try this sweater, no matter how beautiful. Andrew's solution is very creative!! Knit Wit beer...fruity knitting beer . What a great film collage! Being a bride can be so complicated. I remember helping to dress my niece for her Hindu wedding. By 2am, I was letting her lean back on me because her neck was so sore from the weight of her veil. It was pinned to her hair but not sewn on. That was something to see from Fano! We are currently keeping our boat in Makkum (NL) where many of those famous Delft tiles were made - loving your Fanø footage as we‘ll be sailing there next spring 😊 I also love costume and collected costume dolls as a child that developed into a general interest later (helped by having a tradition of it in my environment), so looking forward to that aspect very much. It a ll looks beautiful and I‘m excited to be going there!

Thank you so much. Funny to hear of your Assens and sailor background. I am from Fanø and my history is much like christels. It was my summer playground and I remember getting dressed up in the fanø clothes by quite stern older women. Its hard to stand still so long. For me at least. It was paradise and somehow paradise lost since my family are in the graveyard now. But a great love and respect from me, to Fanø and to your excellent self.
