cooked tater tots and french fries with air fryer

I bought a Black & Decker toaster oven / air fryer. I tried cooking or air fry tater tots and french fries. they ain't crispy like they said that's going to be I cooked it at the maximum they recommended which was 25 minutes next time I'll do 30 minutes maybe add a little bit of oil in the bottom pan.
