Im surrounded by "metal heads" who only know radio bands. Being influenced by bands like these shed light on what real hard music could be and molded me into someone unique to my peers. Not familiar guitar tones or chord structures and definitely not a singer who sounds like Cher.
They where massive! Always praise the ability of this guys to take standard breaks or grooves of Hardcore and combine it with some Surf Rock and Skate Punk, and throw it at you with the most abrassive but also enjoyable to listen distortion. I'm addicted to their work, is highly cathartic.
KILLER band, I grew up on them.
When I ask people if they like Unsane and they say "Who...?" I never talk to those people ever again.
