Wonderful, I have the same issue in this area, loosing coolant daily 300 ml, how long does it take to do the job? Mechanic says 2 days for him, it that real? How hard it is to remove all the intake manifold to get to this unit? What do you mean replace sealant (you caulk some sealant using high temperature RTV?) Thank you!
I'm having same issue and it would take you several days to fix if you don't have proper tools. taking off the intake seems to be the worst part. I would tackle it but I'm afraid of over torquing or not enough torquing bolts. it would probably cost $500+ to have a mechanic fix it.
Basic tools lang Po Ang Kailanga, una Po remove cawl cover, throttle body, tapos sa likod ng intake manifold may 3 Bolt, 2 12mm at 1 14mm then Yun main Bolt ng intake manifold
What a stupid design from Toyota ! Man if I had of known this I would not have bought my 2005 Toyota Camry v6 ! If I ever have this problem I think I will just sell the dam thing, the labour cost to do this would be more than what the car is worth.
@pinoymechaniccanada it is something I could do but it would take me weeks as I have a bad back which restricts me to only being able to do 2-3 hours work a day.
@@Healthliving1967 dude i feel youuuu i just did this job for my vehicle, my back an legs are killinngggg meee im only 27Y/O Took me 4hours to remove everything an like 6hour to put back granted i changed my sparks plugs an ran to the parts store a few times an dealership

What was the cost?
@jackel142 and the rest,to get this done here in Australia I'd be looking at aproxametley $2500.00 labour cost and then the part on top of that !

Worst car repair video I ever saw. Showed nothing of the repairing process, just kept talking with camera pointing to one spot basically.
Thanks
