    The die is fantastic and the inlay really makes the cards works of art. The one with the black background is a definite WOW!!. Thank you, Ardyth for this tutorial. The more I make and watch cards made, the more I like to see a use for everything. Even blended inks left on the work surface. No waste, more product, happier planet. 💖🇨🇦

    I start making mine in June. This year, because of the pandemic, I mailed out “Christmas in July” cards to brighten the day for the recipients. Everyone was surprised and loved them. I so enjoy writing...I always run out of space before I run out of words!
    I also buy the happiest postage stamps I can find. The staff at my Post Office start bringing out their stamp designs when they see me coming.

      Ardyth Percy-Robb I’m trying to build a variety of dies , found the one you used on AliExpress 🙂, most everything I have is holiday themed. This is the third new craft in about 5 years,I guess I don’t have a very long attention span🤷‍♀️😉

    • @ardyth
      @ardyth  4 года назад +1

      @@lindafrier26 Love your enthusiasm (and completely identify with the short attention span!) , but please be aware that often designs (stamps and dies) on AliExpress are stolen from small businesses in other parts of the world. They have lower prices because they do not do the work themselves and often use inferior materials to make the product. I know that PinkFresh Studios would appreciate the business if you can shop there directly!

    • @lindafrier26
      @lindafrier26 4 года назад

      Ardyth Percy-Robb If these don’t work I will try the small businesses. I don’t really like buying from AliExpress but right now it’s what I can afford.🙂

    I usually don’t make my own personal Christmas cards until closer to the end of the year - I like to make sure they reflect my “mood” and if I do them too early I change my mind. But I make holiday cards for donations throughout the year.

      I hear what you're saying. I also like to be able to use 'new' Christmas product when it's available which is generally later in the year. Thanks for watching!

    This is what i do... i turn the cut out die onto an "older" matt from my Cameo you can pop them out and they will stay til you pick them up. I have some really cool quilt dies and for them to look realistic you need to cut the same die out of multiple colors/pattern paper.

    • @ardyth
      @ardyth  12 дней назад

      OMG,this comment made me giggle. If you hate it I'm surprised you kept it. But I also think it's great that you want to give it another try. If you're having trouble with it cutting properly, try positioning it on your cutting plate on a bit of a tilt so one corner of the die goes in first. That often makes a difference. I hope you end up enjoying it! And thank you so much for watching!
