I am so happy I saw your video this morning. Your tips are going to help me with my letter dies. Thank you for sharing, Ardyth. Darlene watching from Alabama. 🤗
Love my alphabets and numerical dies!! Just used them for our son in law's birthday card. Had a bunch of smaller letters in the back of a pickup die cut, and the message the letters would have spelled in larger letters, covered in vinyl on the inside. He really seemed to like it. 🙂
We are not in the least expensive hobby are we, that was too funny! Your videos put a smile on my face. I learn so much from you, Thank you for sharing your creative genius with us.
I love watching your videos and go back and watch them over when I need some inspiration. TFS! I also love that you have certain companies that you like to support - I do that, too. I wish Jillian Vance and Crafty Meriaki were available via a Canadian store. I’d love to support them. ❤ 🇨🇦
I really like your videos💜 Beautiful. cards and they are always so helpful with tips and tricks. They are never really long and always to the point! Thank you💙Proud to say, “She’s Canadian!”
Finally! A reason to use that white mat that came with my glass mat! And that edgeless shaker card, never saw that before, fantastic! Thanks for this video.
OMG, I laughed out loud when I read this. You're right. And I use that white mat more than the glass mat (it reflects and looks bad in videos, nothing wrong with the mat). Thanks so much for watching!
A fellow Canuck! I found you through Justine Hovey and am so glad she recommended your video. I appreciate all your tips. I used to make cards about 10 years ago and stopped. Things have changed so much (for the better although, not for my wallet! Lol!) thanks from Southwestern Ontario.
This was such a fun video.. from the beginning about saving money (LOL, yes me!) reason to the reason why adhesive sheets are better for the smaller letter to the chunky glittery letters.. and stenciled tyre.. fantastic tips! You are so creative and generous in sharing your ideas with us.
Fun, helpful & the last card is great. I personalize cards literally via names & dates. I also tailor them to people’s interests & favourite colours. Hey a fellow Canadian & I live in Ontario as well. Saving money by making cards lol. I started by making Christmas cards for my parents. They chose to forgo gifts & asked that I make a donation to the food bank. That was relatively inexpensive: 2 ink pads, 1 stamp set & 1 small pack of card stock. Things spiralled out of control when I agreed to make bd cards for my mother to give to her friend: multiple stamp sets, inks & card stock...
LOL! The slippery-slope of cardmaking! Thanks so much for watching - I hope you're in an area moving to Stage 3 this week - I'm in Toronto, and have to wait a bit longer...
Ardyth Percy-Robb I’m in Ottawa so we have just entered Phase 3. I’m in a very high risk group courtesy of the heart defect that I was born with so I keep excursions to an absolute minimum. My one splurge after consulting my doctor was a haircut. After 4 months it was such a relief.
Ardyth, I thoroughly enjoyed this video. For me watching and hearing how you centred and placed your letters was a flashback to my cake decorating days. I learned to print out my message on a sheet of paper first and count the letters so that when I went to pipe the letters onto the cake they would be just as I intended. 😉 I loved all the colours on the cards (especially your sister's bday card). 😊
The edgeless shakercard idea is BRILLIANT!!! Really hope I can remember that idea 4 when needed ;-) THX !!!! And OMG the double sided tape on the back of the letter dies, I have the same one, but always forget I have it as it sits in the back of my drawer, amazing idea too, thx soooo much, learned so much in just one of your videos, many more good tips... thx!!!
LOL! Thanks! I admit it's a little nerve-wracking to do videos and put them out there for everyone to see (and critique), so I appreciate your comment! Thanks for watching!
Edgeless shaker...how brilliant! What great tips, ideas and projects. Love that narrow strip friend card. I don't personalize as much, sometimes, probably cause I don't have the right dies. I've been wanting to add some to my stash lately....Cool dies!!! 😁😘🎨
Thanks for these tips, Ardyth! :) Yes, I hate it when I get smudges. Not sure if you've heard of the sand eraser. I believe it's made of a sand-like material. It has saved my project MANY times as it erases many inks if you catch it fast enough! :) Just wanted to share a tip.
Once again, you have impressed me with your unique ideas and process to complete them. 👏🙏🤜🤛 Also love your sense of humour! I too thought I would be saving money to make my own cards lol! 😂 TFS! 💖🌼🌸💕🇨🇦 BTW, totally looks like a tire tread! 👍✌️
Really loved the tire track and the rainbow background cards. The first card seemed a little too labor intensive for me? Good suggestions all around! Thanks 🙏
That is an Darice bead storage container. Here's a link to Amazon (Canada) - if you're outside Canada, I'm sure you can find something similar. www.amazon.ca/Darice-82-Piece-Elizabeth-Solutions-Container/dp/B00DV8YERS/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=darice+bead+storage&qid=1614618259&sr=8-1
I think you mean why doesn't it just spread out over the sides? It has some viscosity, so it's not runny like water, but I also keep it away from the very edges. If you practice a bit, you just get a feel for it. Thanks so much for watching!

I have a sand eraser, don't always love how it roughs up the paper, but it definitely gets used! Thanks for sharing!
Great cards! You’ve inspired me to try a borderless shaker card now. Thanks for the tips

Glad you found it helpful! Thanks for watching!
Lots of tips, tkx
Thanks for watching!
Amazing cards again! All three are great, but I really like the last one as it is clean and simple and ideal for those difficult masculine cards!
Thanks so much!
I rather liked the Yellow 'Birthday' and not the black you put over it. Overall I loved all your ideas so many thanks !!!
Thanks for watching!
Amazing! I’m from Ontario as well!
Yay! Hope you're in an area going to Stage 3 this week. I'm in Toronto, so I have to wait. Thanks for watching!
Ardyth Percy-Robb I’m in Woodstock......yes stage 3 Friday! I only do essential shopping in public. And always wear a mask.
Very pretty!😍
Thank you! 😊
Not trying to be cheeky, but something about your manner of speech reminds me of an older Disney movie 🎥😁💕😝keep it up. You're doing well
Where's my Disney salary!? LOL! Thanks so much for watching!
Once again, you have impressed me with your unique ideas and process to complete them. 👏🙏🤜🤛
Also love your sense of humour!
I too thought I would be saving money to make my own cards lol! 😂
TFS! 💖🌼🌸💕🇨🇦
BTW, totally looks like a tire tread! 👍✌️

Very pretty.thank you for sharing. Hugs sweetheart ❤️
Thank you so much 😊
Saving money! Bhahaha! 🤣🤣🤣 I loved all the tips and tricks you showed. Fantastic cards and video.
Right?! We were so naive! Thanks so much for watching!
Really loved the tire track and the rainbow background cards. The first card seemed a little too labor intensive for me? Good suggestions all around! Thanks 🙏
LOL! Fair enough, although, having done it once, now, I'm sure it would be easier the second time! Thanks so much for watching!
What kind of storage container do you use for your shaker beads? Thanks
That is an Darice bead storage container. Here's a link to Amazon (Canada) - if you're outside Canada, I'm sure you can find something similar. www.amazon.ca/Darice-82-Piece-Elizabeth-Solutions-Container/dp/B00DV8YERS/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=darice+bead+storage&qid=1614618259&sr=8-1
❤️❤️❤️
Thanks!
How do you keep the glaze on the letters and numbers??
I think you mean why doesn't it just spread out over the sides? It has some viscosity, so it's not runny like water, but I also keep it away from the very edges. If you practice a bit, you just get a feel for it. Thanks so much for watching!
Did you color each strip of the horizontal line die and then put them back in?
Yes, I did. It took a few minutes, but I tihnk it was worth it! Thanks so much for watching!
Save $$$$ 😂🤣😂 wonderful cards.
OMG, we were so naive.... LOL! Thanks for watching!
What company makes these!?
Hi there! I try to make sure that I link all supplies in the video description. These are all from A Jillian Vance Design. Thanks for watching!
Which brand are the alphabet dies you used?
These ones are from A Jillian Vance Design. I love that they have two sizes of the same font. There should be a link in the description below the video, if you're interested in seeing them.
Both cards are good but the first one would have been better if you had put the centres of the A and the Ps back in, cute otherwise tfs
Haha! I actually like the look that way. Thanks for watching!
