Fantastic ideas - really love them! Can't pick a favourite card - they are ALL my favourites. I have been learning so much from your videos and I feel like I can just use what I have on hand. Thank you Ardyth 😃
They're all wonderful and remind me of retiform a little bit. My two favorites are the super duper birthday and the large black thank you. But I have got to get some of that studio Katia glitter that is amazing on the black!
Ooh, me too. Or maybe Tiki Torch. Definitely those two. (but I definitely suggest mixing Flirty Fuschia with Party Dress - GORGEOUS!) Thanks for watching!
Once again, your creativity dazzles and delights! These backgrounds are such fun; the resulting cards, amazing! You truly are soooooo inspiring! hugs~carol
Ardyth, I don’t always comment but your videos are always so great!!! I love your style and the cards you make are always beautiful!!! Thanks for always making such great videos❤️ You rank right up there with Laura Bassen😁
I am fairly new to card making, and when I came across your channel, I had to subscribe! I have been a subscriber for a little while now.... Now I am going backwards to make sure I haven't missed any hints or ideas. And lookie here, these ideas are great! I think I need more inks so i can make these types of backgrounds! I absolutely LOVE these! Here I go, onto the next video! Or is it previous video? Thanks for all the ideas Ardeth!!
I love these ideas! While watching this video I played around myself to recreate your looks and discovered it is so much easier to blend when starting on scrap paper. Do you mind sharing what you use for your scrap under your blending?
I buy pads of recycled newsprint from a store we have here in Toronto called Muji. I'm sure there's something similar at a dollar store? I like blending on paper because the ink soaks in a bit and doesn't sit there on a slick surface, wet and waiting for a chance to smudge my work! lol! Thanks for watching, Melissa!
Great cards, Ardyth! I have a question about the first blending tool you use. The ones you’re using look like they have brown bristles, but the ones you’ve linked to have white bristles. Are they the same product? I like the sound of a blending tool that will help me cover lots of area quickly!
Hi Sarah! I have 6 of the white ones (from Altenew) and one of the brown ones (from Pink & Main). I just watched a video from Laura Bassen about how you only need one - apparently they clean really well between ink colours - I prefer to have one for each colour family. The brushes are similar - just like the handled brushes all turned out to be similar. If you want to cover lots of area quickly, any big brush will do the job - it's up to you whether you prefer the ergonomic ones or the ones with the handles. Maybe get one of each and see what you think? Thanks so much for watching!
Bought it's brush on Ali express 4 years ago for $4. Still work grsts, are easy to clean if needed. I have 2, one for dark and one for light colors. We're a lot cheaper before it had a "craft label " on it. Wonderful video... thank you
@@ardyth thanks for that explanation! ^_^ I think I'd prefer one for each colour family too - less wasted ink as you switch back and forth between different colour families (because you wouldn't have to clean off the ink in between each time).
I like the addition of the stencil over the colors and adding an additional stripe.
Such an easy way to get more out of your stencils and your inked panels! Thanks for watching!
Sometimes simple and creative make the most fabulous cards!
I agree! Thanks for watching!
The last one. Laura Bassan did come to mind multiple times while watching 😀. Beautiful cards.
She's my idol! (one of them, anyway! lol!) Thanks so much for watching!
Great look. Lot of color without overwhelming the focus of the card.
Thanks so much!
I love the super duper birthday one. I love different.
Me too!! Thanks so much for watching!

Great idea. Do these panels remind anyone else of 'Elmer' the elephant in the children's story books? ☺️
I had to Google it, and yes they do! I'll take that as a compliment! Thanks so much for watching!
Ardyth Percy-Robb It was intended as a compliment. ☺️
Your cards are wonderful. May I ask what kind of jewel picker upper do you use? Thank you.
Thanks so much! I use the marvy jewel picker.
COOL🤗
Thanks!
