I’m glad you know that one video is enough. I’m sure folk have no idea what goes into what you do. Keep it manageable so it stays fun. This effort is gargantuan! Thank you for taking us with you 💞
One video a week is hard to do when you are working so hard on the house! Anyone that has done this type of work would realize this as well. Obviously, a demand for more is just not considerate or realistic. You are making good progress & the videos are great. Nice to see Heather being her wonderful self. ❤ Love that giggle! 😊 Lots of love you guys ❤🇨🇦🙏🏼 Keep on keepin on. 😎
As a builder and remodeler, I appreciate your detail and learning new skills. The best learning is experience. I’m intrigued by the different applications in other countries. We are rooting for you and your family!
Just a thought: we have sections of tongue and groove walls and a tongue and groove ceiling above the beams as in the original ceiling in your house. Our builder nailed all boards through the tongue, so the fixing is almost invisible. Your house is coming together beautifully, rewarding all that effort. Congratulations.
Be careful of the exposed wiring if you get a cat or dog! From experience. And Heather, it’s not the falling it’s the sudden stop. Be careful, dear!😍🇨🇦
The Aluminum foil wrap is a radiant barrier. It reflects radiant heat. You have a air space between it and the foam insulation. The heat penetrating the attic and foam is reflected from whence is came. As long as air can pass over it and exit, it will carry away radiant heat in addition to blocking moisture. We had one in our home in Arizona and our attic was 20 degrees F cooler than our neighbors. It lowers cooling costs.
Wow!! The ceiling looks great so far. Happy to see that Heather seems to be feeling better as well. The house is going to be amazing, I never get tired of that view!!😊
Wow Brady, I don’t know how you manage to work on scaffolding and albeit not so stable scaffolding. I’m with Heather. I would be scared to work under such precarious conditions. However, you continue to amaze me with all you manage to do by yourself. I think what impresses me the most is how patient you are during stressful situations and how when time is available, you let the girls be involved as helpers rather than making them feel in the way. You and Heather both seem great at that! The van build video was just too cute. 🥰
Coming along way and everything is coming together God bless you and give you strength to finish that job you have and God bless you and bless your children and your wife and I love you and take care of yourself❤❤❤❤
It’s not “make fun of Heather”, it’s “enjoy Heather’s adorable cuteness”! My wife has a ton of adorable cuteness too…and I would definitely feature it if I had a RUclips channel! 😊❤️
For the exposed braided wires, you could re-purpose some knob-and-tube ceramic knobs to route the wires. It would make it look like it was wired over 100 years ago.
Heather, you are not alone in being wary of being on scaffolding or unstable heights. I was nervous with you. Give yourself a huge pat on the back for your courage to climb up there. Don't be embarrassed we all love you!💙💙
I have been watching you a long time I am a subscriber and for a very long time I have been praying for your wife's dad please if see this give us update on his health issues thank you
UNBELIEVABLE. th clip w Zoey learning to maneuver th foam...your patience is unbelivable. I wanted so much to help but you let her do it herself AMAZING. 'really warmed my heart. AND, I must say, this same patience has been demonstrated in all you videos which are stretched over time. WHAT solar system are you folks from again.. 😉🙂
Canada found out many years ago that if you seal up homes 100% then you get a home that doesn't breathe. That is an UNHEALTHY situation for the people living in those homes. A home has to breathe. It's especially important in the winter time when people are cooped up. : ) P.S., There is a mathematical formula for home many ceiling lights you need.
My husband and I love your videos! We watch each new project with open-mouthed amazement. We are so proud of you and your whole family. Congratulations! You are re-building a beautiful home. ❤
Heather could help from the ground & cut the boards, to pass them up to you..She would have more space for the long lengths you need.. It looks amazing so far..😊❤
Love the video this week and the teamwork Heather and Bradee. Also love the suggestion to review Van Build videos as I'm looking at having this done, thank you. May God Bless you and the family😊❤🙏🏻
I have seen and enjoyed all of your videos which is many !! And I enjoy your updates so much!!! I can't wait to see the final phase of your beautiful home!!! Then I can't wait to see all that you do in your beautiful yard!! 😎👍
I’m happy to receive one video a week, even though you’re one of my favorite channels. I’ve been made aware of how much work it is to film and edit one of these episodes and don’t feel as though I am entitled to more than you can do. Thanks for sharing your journey, however much or little you feel like it. The ceiling looks great without the beams, as someone else said less cluttered, and you have all the interest of the stone walls already, so the beams aren’t really needed. Plus, you can always add them later if you want to.😊
The ceiling looks ok/nice now, but it would look spectacular with the beams. (I was sick you had to cover up the beautiful existing beamed ceiling). If it was my project I'd do the beams now. There's a good chance it will be 'now-or-never'.
So thrilled to see the vapor barrier which will protect your family! Your home look’s beautiful! So glad Heather seems to be feeling better🙏🙏🙏Blessing’s
Am very pleased watching your family video because what you guys are doing is very great and outstanding... lots of love from Papua New Guinea. ...Country in Asian Pacific!!
I have been watching y'all since the start. Can't believe how it all finally came together. Very impressed with you and your family. Best wishes from MS. P.S. I am 61 and just wish my wife and I could have done something like this when we were young. People just didn't do this back in the day, but I wish we could have.
I live in a particularly high moisture environment, because I live on a small lake in a very small house. I had to stop using wood dressers to store my clothes, because wood mildews and it ruined my clothes. I just store everything in clear plastic bins now instead. Louvers ( open shutters that allow air circulation ) on all interior doors also helps.
I live in a beach town in California. I love wood furniture but you’re right the mildew in the drawers is unbelievable. It makes everything smell musty.
@roxylegs I agree with your comment, that look was priceless with Brady looking over his shoulder when hoisting up the plank. Your home is getting closer and closer with each step to the finish. So glad Heather is looking much better and I must say I do miss those stone masons working with you Brady. Hope we see them again in your videos. Have a lovely week.
Dear Both, I’ve been with you almost from the beginning. I’m in awe of your hard work and foresight. Could I suggest that you place a Time Capsule somewhere in the house? Hidden in a wall cavity or roof space? The girls would LOVE to contribute to it, as well as research how to keep it air & watertight for 100 years plus. A letter on how and who restored the house, maybe some photos too. It would be your contribution to the history of the house. Xx😊
Brady, you have already thought about this; but you may want to test out your lighting in daylight and night to verify the brightness is what you need. ❤
DO NOT listen to those CRAZY people saying they'd like more than one video a week!!!!!! I am sitting here thinking "This is the most insanely hardworking individual AND, on top of it all, he's moving the camera around so that we can see what he's doing ... in a video!" I could not do half of what you are doing. AND.... the quality of the videos (as with everything you do), is top notch. Bravo!!
In the kitchen I hate working in my shadow so I always want under cupboard lighting. Sometimes that’s the only lighting that I turn on depending on what I am doing in the kitchen. But I really like having a light over the sink when washing dishes by hand and lights for when I am working on the counter.
Brady nice job on the ceiling looking good. I think I would be the same as Heather as it did not look that to stable😘Loved watching you with the progress guys😘
------------ " I speak from experience, it's not the stumble, the trip, loss of balance nor the fall it's the sudden stop! " A bit of humor to keep you 4 driving on ceiling looks great!!!! " -----------
Looking good. I think you trusted Heather to cut to your measurements when you were doing the floors. Might have helped to have her down on the floor cutting the ceiling boards for you. Just a thought. 😊
Bradey, Heather the ceiling is looking great, Bradey the look on your face when the board hit the vapor barrier and when you saw it didn't put a hole in it was priceless. God bless you Bradey, Heather, Alexa, Chloe. God bless your Family's
You only need 2 brads not 3... Save a 1/3 of your Labour & Brads: 1st nail middle of board (as tongue & grove holds all but 1st course), top & last brad at base of tongue on downwards angle. Added bonus is only 1 brad will mar face of boards instead of 3/joist .
Will you cover those stones on one of your walls, perhaps whitewashing them or painting them as some look dark and unclean? I think you two are very hard workers and I just can't wait to see the finished product. Way to go.
Good morning to you all. With the built in drop lights. It might be worthwhile having adjustable ones if you want them to have a vertical dropping beam.
Great progress. Impressed with the mitre cuts. Good job. I’m still trying to wrap my head around inspections. Especially in Italy known for its red tape. I’d never have been able to close walls or ceilings without prior electrical inspection.
I love to see the lady exited face every time 😊it reminds me when my house was being remodeled and would get exited when my husband will show me what he was doing
Big or small.. Van or a palace, the problem to solve is the same... So, slog on.. Admire you guys! Lovely people, hoped to be one such as you, albeit now, considering I am in an age where my bones are creaking, I would rather watch you folks do the hard work and consider that it was was me who did all that!😜 God bless, and keep posting!
Why not install all the lights, and just wire them so that you can turn them on and off in banks? 2 switches controlling 6 lights each, or 3 switches controlling 4 lights each? That would give you lots of lighting options.
Well done Heather, my husband didn’t like heights either, he always felt like he was falling forward.
I’m glad you know that one video is enough. I’m sure folk have no idea what goes into what you do. Keep it manageable so it stays fun. This effort is gargantuan! Thank you for taking us with you 💞

I subscribed about a month ago. Started at the beginning so I could keep up. I've caught up now! Amazing family, amazing dreams and amazing work.
-aah even the birds sound happier in Italy🥰
This place is a masterpiece.
AIN'T THAT THE TRUTH🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
Guys. Visas, what is the latest? Love your energy. Keep going! ❤❤❤
As a builder and remodeler, I appreciate your detail and learning new skills. The best learning is experience.
I’m intrigued by the different applications in other countries.
We are rooting for you and your family!
You are SO right to be afraid of unstable surfaces!
Heather is so kind 😇
Would like to see a video on the village and shops, schools, churches. Blessings
Every time I watch you I have the same thought over and over...you are the single most hardest working man ever!!
I add my voice to yours!!!
Just a thought: we have sections of tongue and groove walls and a tongue and groove ceiling above the beams as in the original ceiling in your house. Our builder nailed all boards through the tongue, so the fixing is almost invisible.

Brady, another great job you did with the ceiling. As always, you’re a great hard worker.
Yr going to be such a pro at this remodelling that you’ll be able to help others who move their & want to do the same.
YAY Heather for having the courage to get up there and be Bradey’s assistant 🎉 I like the time lapse mode.

I do wonder if beams will be necessary. The clean look of the ceiling is great.
Love it when you speed up the video on repetitive things. This man can do about anything. Impressive
Hello Brady, Heather, and girls, Hope you all are well❤ Brady, love the ceiling, no beams needed 🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
Coming along way and everything is coming together God bless you and give you strength to finish that job you have and God bless you and bless your children and your wife and I love you and take care of yourself❤❤❤❤

Even more if you're working with a rotating SAW up there!
The ceiling is looking amazing!! 🎉
You work endlessly.. love your work ethic
Brady the work you yourself is doin is a an inspiration!!
I have been watching you a long time I am a subscriber and for a very long time I have been praying for your wife's dad please if see this give us update on his health issues thank you
Brady and Heather, everything you’ve accomplished so far is top notch! I don’t know you personally but I am so proud of you and your family!😍🇨🇦
Tedious but Amazing work

You guys are so inspirational, fun, and talented… I have no building advice to offer, but just keep your positivity and enjoy💜💜💜
so exciting to see the first of many finished surfaces - congrats on amazing progress!

Guys, I am simply amazed by your efforts and work. Can't wait for the next video! ❤
Heather could help from the ground & cut the boards, to pass them up to you..She would have more space for the long lengths you need.. It looks amazing so far..😊❤
So glad to see Heather looking and sounding better, and so sad that you there was no room to work together.
Love the video this week and the teamwork Heather and Bradee. Also love the suggestion to review Van Build videos as I'm looking at having this done, thank you. May God Bless you and the family😊❤🙏🏻

I think your parenting skills are awesome.
The place is coming along nicely.

Just love watching your progress!
Aw! Little Chloe. So funny! So adorable!!!!!!! Dad has the patience of an oyster!!! 😅😊❤
On ward and upward. What a journey you are on.❤️🇨🇦
You guys are amazing! What a fantastic job! Your doing
Use wireless switches on the stone wall! Then you can even control with your phone! No wires exposed.

Maybe a couple of dehumidifiers and some of those tubs of beads that draw out moisture if you don't have those?

It’s really feeling like it’s coming together in a livable home! Bravo on your continued progress.

oh my goodness you are an amazing carpenter, really home builder Brady
Looking great, love the wood ceiling.

He’d just have to put foil tape over the hole if he did. No biggy.
Looking good ❤️

Aww thank you so much for sharing this beautiful journey with us and you guys are so amazing keep up the good work
Your explanations are so helpful to those who don’t know like me. I enjoy your journey
As always, it's exciting to see the new work based on the motto onwards and upwards, I wish you good luck every time 🙏👍😊
Thank you for the update. The house starts to look good, every time something new. Greetings Melinda

Do the beams asap. Once you move in it will be the ultimate PIA to move everything out & put them in.
You two are such a GREAT team!❤
Love watching the progress of your home. You have the most beautiful view from up there.
Careful voyagers, your sub beams may impact your lighting flow. The smooth ceilings look amazing.
