Nice video. I noticed that some of the icons that you had are different than what I am getting in chrome. perhaps there was an update. Using this tool to help improve equity in the classroom is the most exciting feature... if it will work. I want to use this tool to be able to have up but send children to it on their own devices. I'm just not sure that's possible. With the return to the classroom this fall being influenced by covid some students may be at home. I can shoot them a link and they can have better access to classroom content. Also I have many students with that keep banker's hours, I would love for them to be able to access the morning writing prompt, do now- and instructions they might have missed coming in 2 hours late. I want to be able to create multiple classroomscreens to easily switch content, but be able to have students navigate back and forth between the 2 so they can easily manage their time and take ownership of their learning. I know there is a pay version right now it looks like $30 per year. If teachers want to save their classroomscreen that how you do it. I'm going to try the trial version of that and see if it gets closer to what I hope this program can do. Thanks for sharing.
I believe they just recently revamped their layout. But yes, what you're describing would take a paid account to accomplish. An alternative would be to run a Google Slide deck each day and post the link to your website or Google classroom each morning. Students could self-pace that way, but without the timers and neat options this platform offers. Kind of a catch-22. This video was my first one ever, so I appreciate your looking past that bit! 🤣
@@MrCooksCorner Your first video? I would have never known! You looked like you had been doing it for years. G-slidedeck sounds like a good option, even if my district is so in bed with Microsoft that google is a bad word. I was thinking taking a screenshot and setting it up on my website might be an option too for students. They would still have access to QR codes (which I love) and any other directions related to their learning success. Keep making videos! You rock
Thank you very much for the video. But I would to know 1.How to copy the QR code and send as Student s as email. 2. How can I invite my students to the classroom?
I have subscribed to classroom screen ($30) but I am still NOT able to “save” my screens . Every time I turn off my computer the screens have vanished! This is very frustrating. Can you help me??
It looks like your best bet is to email their support staff. I looked it up and their address is laurens@classroomscreen.com I wish I knew a quicker fix, sorry! Hopefully this at least gets you in the right direction. Let us know what you find out! 🤞🤞🤞🤞
Ugh...for $30 the LEAST they could do is reply. I'm so sorry to hear this! Maybe try their Twitter? The account is @classroomscreen, and it looks like they have a pinned tweet of their save feature right at the top of their posts! I'd direct IM them there or reply to the tweet. That's GOT to get you somewhere! 🤞🤞🤞🤞X2
How do you see yourself using this tool in your classroom? Share with us some of your best ideas here in the comment section!
