Everyone would already know what it means when the count gets disabled, and trustworthy accounts would just keep in on regardless. I noticed this recently and one of my students(I used to be an roblox studio instructor) fell for these trying to get better at building roblox games. This really makes me want to start making tutorials so these kids can have someone to trust. I love teaching roblox studio and it just hurts to see these people trying to prey on kids with genuine intentions to learn and be a better game builder.
I was a victim of one of these scams, and my account almost got hacked. Technically it DID get hacked, but i saved it. I was having a full blown WAR with the hacker, and he kept signing me out, changing my password, and I was doing the same to him, and it kept going on like this for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. There was A LOT of stuff on my account so i wasnt letting go, so i kept fighting that hacker, and eventually, he just gave up. Thank god i got my account back.
Fun fact! You don't need id verification to get voice chat, you just need a verified phone number on your account and roblox will randomly give it to you.

No, that is your basic instinct telling you to trust it when a lot of people are pushing it. Humans are a social animal, so when a lot of people are doing the same thing, it becomes more difficult for one person to go a different way, unless of course they see someone else doing something different, first.
if it's an api there's a goal you can also spam that api call by copying it as cURL and running it on powershell, it will resend that request as many times as you run it
@@araphis836 The API is sort of like a road, it’s allowing traffic to be sent to the scammers server, specifically the packet containing the clipboard text. So theoretically, provided their is no built in cool-down you could spam the same packet hundreds of times. Both fortunately and unfortunately servers are way to good to be slowed down by anything this small these days- however it makes their lives a lot more annoying which is still a plus.

i actually fell for one of these but thankfully my instinct said "it could have hacked you, log out of all devices right now" and so i did, never knowing if it was a scam or not and now i know it was.
The only time a website has ever, _ever_ asked to see my clipboard was when I pasted an image into Google Drive. No other legitimate website has _ever_ asked for those permissions, and if if a website ever asked for them without an obvious, good reason, I would almost instantly close the site, run a virus scan, and probably restart my computer.
My friend lost 3k robux to one of this scams. The scammer bought a shirt that costed 3k robux.My friend could fortunately get a refund.Hope this does not happen to you or your friends.

There is a way to get voice chat on roblox without an ID. But its not a way that you can get access to. You had to be invited by ROBLOX to participate in the closed voice dev beta. At that time, the voice was only obtainable by being invited by roblox. Some of thoses invited needed an ID, but some didnt(they had a few waves of inviting more devs, some waves didnt need id). You had to be a dev, roblox employee, or star creator and be selected for the programm, as not everyone was. This was a couple years ago. After voice chat went public, the accounts who were invited to the program without an id still had access to voice chat despite not being verified. I was one of thoses people invited to it at the time, among the no id required wave.
My friend actually got hacked from crank games from the how to copy any roblox game video, he got all his robux taken and the hacker spent it on limiteds, he was saving his robux, he had 16k but the hacker spent his robux on the red antlers (forgot what the limited is called) then the hacker did all these trades from a bacon account, but my friend got 13k robux from roblox support back
pretty sure they will sell those limiteds on ebay, it’s sad how scammers are just willing to get money because (maybe) they got rejected from multiple jobs and didn’t have a college degree before so they switched to scamming 5 year olds on the internet.
Hey, Ntts! I just wanna say that I was one of the victim of this scam. I was dumb enough and I copy the inspect thing. My account then got hacked after around an hour then got signed out from my roblox account. Though , I was luck enough to get in back because I have security pin which make the hacker unable to change my email/password. I did change the password + clear cookies but the hacker keep getting back into my account and signed me out from my account. I keep logging back into the account and change the account + add authenticator security. Eventually, the hacker couldn't get into my account. This incident gave me a lesson and I will never do it again. btw, I was trying to find a way to join someone without being a friend of them (I wanna troll my friend) which led me to the incident.

these people don't just target kids who want vc and to copy games, they also target people who want to steal roblox game code, want to get the ability to make ugc hats, the list goes on.
I managed to be fast by resetting the cookies logging out all the devices in the security section of the settings and logging off and logging in again. This resetted my cookies and now im safe
I once fell for this scam right after Christmas when I got tons of robux. Thankfully, Roblox was able to get my items and robux back. I should say this is a pretty smart scam and people who are smart can still get hacked.

I already fell for this scam about 6 months ago and lost 50k robux and it felt HORRIBLE, I almost gave up but I didn't and I contacted support and provided them with proof and luckily they rerolled everything and I got my robux back and it was a lesson to NEVER click on anything I don't know.
Scamming people who want to copy games is probably a good thing. As a Roblox game developer, this is all so obviously bullsh t and anyone who wants to copy a game deserves to be scammed.
another thing to add to this is most of these channels were regular channels that got hacked into i remember one of my youtube accounts (that has been inactive for years) suddenly had its name changed and uploaded two videos on how to exploit on roblox. what personally upset me was that they had way more views than all my other videos :(

My only problem with applications that protect your computer from malware, are false positives. I remember I was coding and windows defender deleted my code.
You can sign out of all other sessions. But the best way, when you actually get your Cookie stolen is: To change your Roblox avatar. Whenever you change your outfit, your cookie resets as well.
fun-fact! if you go to the root domain of the scam site, you get a myriad of options to generate these scam links - you can literally register an account without any e-mail confirmation and you have access to the scammers' dashboard. sooo... yeaaahh.....
If you want to actually "copy" a Roblox game it's actually possible but you won't be able to copy everything. You're only able to copy what's sent to the client (Workspace, Lighting, StarterGui, etc...) using an exploit and if that exploit got a decompiler, you can eventually decompile things such as LocalScript and ModuleScript, but not Scripts! everything that is server-side (ServerStorage, ServerScriptService, etc... including scripts' bytecode!) is never sent to the client so it's absolutely not possible. But if all you need for example is GUIs or the map, use an exploit. (not free ones, of course.)

I checked and Firefox does support Clipboard.readText()
It is not like it allows this by default though. In the end it is the user's fault and not the browsers

And a correction, apparently Firefox only supports reading the clipboard in browser extensions, using the "clipboardRead" extension permission.
i got scammed by this along time ago when this was not in the light, i lost my perfectly legitimate fedora. we need to make people aware of this and take these scammers down.

I managed to be fast by resetting the cookies logging out all the devices in the security section of the settings and logging off and logging in again.
This resetted my cookies and now im safe

I once fell for this scam right after Christmas when I got tons of robux. Thankfully, Roblox was able to get my items and robux back. I should say this is a pretty smart scam and people who are smart can still get hacked.
It was last year and I was 16, I fell for this and I'm in programming. Really opens your eyes to how big corporations get hacked easily with the best security

I already fell for this scam about 6 months ago and lost 50k robux and it felt HORRIBLE, I almost gave up but I didn't and I contacted support and provided them with proof and luckily they rerolled everything and I got my robux back and it was a lesson to NEVER click on anything I don't know.
Scamming people who want to copy games is probably a good thing. As a Roblox game developer, this is all so obviously bullsh t and anyone who wants to copy a game deserves to be scammed.

i remember one of my youtube accounts (that has been inactive for years) suddenly had its name changed and uploaded two videos on how to exploit on roblox. what personally upset me was that they had way more views than all my other videos :(

you can copy games , but it has to be uncopylocked , so you can edit/see the games code/modules.

You can sign out of all other sessions. But the best way, when you actually get your Cookie stolen is: To change your Roblox avatar. Whenever you change your outfit, your cookie resets as well.

fun-fact! if you go to the root domain of the scam site, you get a myriad of options to generate these scam links - you can literally register an account without any e-mail confirmation and you have access to the scammers' dashboard. sooo... yeaaahh.....

If you want to actually "copy" a Roblox game it's actually possible but you won't be able to copy everything. You're only able to copy what's sent to the client (Workspace, Lighting, StarterGui, etc...) using an exploit and if that exploit got a decompiler, you can eventually decompile things such as LocalScript and ModuleScript, but not Scripts! everything that is server-side (ServerStorage, ServerScriptService, etc... including scripts' bytecode!) is never sent to the client so it's absolutely not possible. But if all you need for example is GUIs or the map, use an exploit. (not free ones, of course.)
