They can't duplicate resource blocks, only tnt and that's pretty much it.
@@Benthehuman not can't, choose not to. Doc showed duplication glitches last season for rails and carpet and even diamonds.

Im just so clueless how people initially discover that pushing sand in just the right way causes it to duplicate, or that shifting sand under plants causes a growth update instead of a breaking update.
I was confused when I found it but I eventually understood how it worked.

This is one of those things that, if I build it, I'll use it once, and then forget it exists.
I may use this when I restart my favorite seed after 1.16. It's a little cheaty, but the amount of time I would save on concrete powder is very tempting. Not to mention the anvils.
This is exactly why I like you Silent, you're constantly a Jedi Minecrafter, but you're always tempting players to the Darkside as well.

I personally wouldn't say its cheating. Not like youre duping diamonds and gold that you usually need to work for. Getting gravity blocks is just tedious.
Still yeah, and anvils, sand, concrete powder, red sand, and gravel are all renewable (anvils with iron farm, red sand and sand from wandering traders (expensive, but emeralds are definitely renewable), and gravel from piglins
Tip for those doing this in survival dont waste time searching for podzol dort works just fine make sure your ceiling is at least 7 high and you clear out a very open space

Andre Goforth how much bone meal we’re you using? I just blitzed more than ten stacks on a mushroom on Podzol in a 9x9x9 free space with only the end portal blocks in range.
Michalina W If you're using more than a stack of bonemeal and it doesn't work by then, the dimensions are wrong. They take up a lot of space. In every direction you need to go nine blocks out from the middle and seven from the top. So technically it'd be 10 blocks wide in every direction horizontally and 8 blocks tall vertically. Completely empty, even the stairs, mob spawner etc. idk if it's working anymore tho. I just know it was one month ago.

I am messing around with waterlogged blocks and activator rails. Got really close the other day, when the TNT bugged out and just felt like being close to working.

For anyone wondering why their mushroom isn’t growing, I found it best to dig out a 9x9 square with a 7 block gap between the podzol and the ceiling, then it worked

Kalimai not exactly. Duplicating blocks like diamonds , iron , gold , entire blocks inside a shulker completely defeats the purpose of the game . Duplicating the gravity blocks only helps in building . For those of us who do not have tons of time to grind and keep mining sand and gravel it is extremely useful .
I’m not saying it is not cheaty but it’s a sandbox game . You should play how you like

Hey I came up with this supersmelter design. That uses a piston feed tape to save a ton of iron. I did a bunch of math and got it to smelt 2 items per a cycle and and smelt about as fast as it can. I wonder if you could improve the idea. I had around 37 furnaces. With a total of 19 iron used.

What texture pack do you use? I know it's practically the same for the most part but I, as a bedrock edition redstoner, find it incredibly annoying that you are unable to tell the type of piston from the side.

Hey silent I've been watching your videos for a while now since the original raid farm video and i found it to be perfect and I've made some sugarcane farms of yours and the wither head farm and they all have been amazing and i used your chest sorting system and i haven't had any troubles with them. the reason i'm writing this is because you are the best bedrock red stone you tuber out there in my opinion and i was wondering if you were going to make a tutorial on gun powder farm, the videos i have found of them seem hard to follow and not really that good. and I've been waiting for a good tutorial made by you or someone else, and it seems to me there isn't any. so i just want to know if i should wait longer or just make one of these ones that doesn't really seem that good. Ps i love the channel and because of you i still actively play minecraft and host my own realm

so you would just press a flick a lever and he would transform, then you could cure him manually.

something i noticed is that if you play on a laggy server with friends or realm it wil be a lot more fast wich means that it will get you twice as much gravity blocks thanks to the lag.

i dont understand the storage system in the end. are the obsidian blocks placed on the minecart hoppers? also does the end have to be loaded (i.e have an account afk there)? thanks
Place the minecarts on rails, and the obby platform will delete all the rails next time it generates. The minecarts will stay however. And yes, in order for it to go into a storage system, you need the end dimension to be loaded

What I learnt building this farm:
You only have three Strongholds
To improvise some redstone circuits
To build contraptions without watching a tutorial
To not misplace mushrooms
Mushrooms can also delete portal blocks

I found a glitch a little bit ago, so basically, hold out ur torches, place and the exact same time, swap to a different item slot, so you place a torch, but you don't use a torch, it's hard to explain, but I think I did it well
I clocked on the guardian farm video, and got the description for the gravity block duplicator, I just spent like 15 min getting the stuff needed, and the my horse drowned when I was trying to get my stuff, for the wrong items, well at least i can make the gravity block duplicator when I'm ready I guess lol
Imagine having to dig up an entire desert to drain an ocean temple.

@@sloth1021 you have to stop the ocean from pouring in more water as you are using the sponge and the fastest way I know to stop it is to box the temple in with sand

Im conflicted on whether or not to do it in my world.
Its usually best to not start duplicating, unless you have serious self control and can prevent your self from duping everything
It's a pain to collect enormous amounts of sand manually in a desert, but soooooooo satisfying to fly over the desert and see the vast expanses of barren sand stone where the sand used to be.
I won't dupe out of laziness. However, I have decided to use positive bugs and glitches to compensate for negative bugs of the game. For example, when the game yet again decides to delete the existing hopper minecarts of my farms, I feel justified switching to creative to get them back. So I can see that even duping in some circumstances would be kind of less on the dark side of Minecraft.
embrace the grind or you'll ruin your gaming experience and never be able to go back to playing honestly.

What if we put water on the obsidian platform to wash out the production into a storage system? ( as a way to decrease lag)
Obsidian platform deletes water, the constantly flowing and getting deleted water would cause more lag then it would solve

I can't get the mushrooms to grow, have used stacks and stacks of bonemeal. Maybe it's device-dependent - I'm on Android.
@@DaveWaghorn If you didn't put them in the right place or didn't clear out enough space they don't grow. Also all of bedrock edition is the same the only difference is that some versions get betas and others don't

The devs can’t be mad because I’m making one due to block lag (saaaAAnd??) and they need to buff iron farms (anvils are scarce)
Iron farms were buffed in 1.15 beta....so we will probably get better iron farms soon

They're working on java/bedrock parity. If they get it right, we could be looking at the same rates and mechanics as java, or they will succumb to brokerock rates...
I hope so..but so far it's not looking good. So far in the name of parity, they have patched a very useful bug(sand pushers) which breaks a lot of bedrock edition farms. And they also broke water based sugarcane 0-tick farms in the latest beta. On the upside, we have better iron farms and zombie villager discounts now.
Even in 1.16 its still here i need this on my multiplayer lets play

It's a glitch!
That is true early game, but what about late game... after you empty all the deserts within 1000 blocks of spawn? If sand were craftable, then sure, but once you use it it is gone forever... so in long run worlds, something like this becomes, almost, a necessity, until, and unless, we get a sand/gravel crafting recipe.

Gravel won't be an issue, since Piglins will probably trade it and red sand can be traded from wandering traders. Unfortunately, unlike on Java, they don't trade regular sand anymore.
@@lesliedavison6959 I totally understand that, and agree for the most part. I see something like this as something you only do late game when you need, like, 10k sand for a huge project... like if you wanted to build a monument in the desert. You need tons of sand and sandstone, but you can't take that from the desert you are building in. So, you use something like this to make the project even possiable in survival. Not for general things or to _never_ go gathering again, but simply to make things _doable_ in survival, atleast till we get the ability to break down cobble into gravel and gravel into sand, or something like that.
This works really well for me, but oddly when testing on a creative world only drops from one circuit (left/right) appear in the hopper chain, and top/bottom doesn't have any items. When the player goes through the portal those items are there to pick up, but not in the same quantity. Tbh I probably built it wrong
Can you please tell us how big the room should be? End portals are located in a stronghold and my mushroom isnt growing at all
I should try to figure out a way to tweak this for it to work with all blocks...
it would probably not be survival friendly though lol
