Just randomly popped up and now I can't stop watching! Great stuff man
That's Awesome Ted! Thanks. Glad It popped up and you enjoyed. I love filming underwater ice fishing. Too much fun.
I got a feeling this guys channel is gonna randomly pop off soon. Content is just so good! It’s only a matter of time until he’s got 1.5 millions subscriber.
Thanks Brianna! Appreciate the kind words. Hopefully Someday :)
1.5mil lol
Gettin' jiggy wit it
yessir
Good job coaxing that cat to finally bite. As usual great underwater footage. Thank you Bryan.
Great vids.. can't wait to get out there this winter.. shout out from Northern Manitoba, Canada!!
Thanks Josh! Awesome, Welcome from Minnesota! Glad you enjoy them. Can't wait for early ice too.
great job narrating... love aqua views
Thank you! I love them too. Like watching TV down there.
I know it's just a bullhead but that thing was massive! Probably a master angler if you measured it. Nice catches and video 👍
Hey what up! Dude that bullhead was crazy big. I looked, Master Angler says 14". Easily gave run for the money. Probably not far off from the State record of 3lbs. Most bullheads I have seen are like tadpoles. Thanks man. Take care!
Yes. Those bullheads will stab you, and it hurts like hell. Haven't caught one in over 20 years, but I'll never forget that pain. LOL
I thought so! I have never caught one but my dad got stabbed in his finger by one and lost his nerves in that finger and that was like 40 years ago! I'm not messing around with them lol
I would never catch catfish again in my life because of that spine.
@@iscream1080 I wasn't about to mess around. Scared for life with these guys.
Grab them from under the belly. Pretty harmless that way.
One time my little brother ran over one with his bike and it poked a hole in the tire. Someone threw it on land and it was dead so he thought he would run it over.
May I suggest getting a gaf it super useful when the fish is trying to get up the hole. I use one it doesn’t hurt the fish but it’s an awesome tool
Yeah, no it hurts the fish. It’s a giant spike through their body.
I fished Bullheads for years out of an old farmer's pond in Wisconsin and I don't ever remember getting stung, but I sure have gotten barbed by some catfish. Nice video great underwater clarity as usual.
Thanks Mark! This was a cool video with that bullhead. It was so big I thought it was a catfish and why I held it like that. Better safe then sorry. I hear a barb sting is no fun.
Love it. Wish I could catch as much fish as you. I’m from Minnesota as well.
Thanks ConRad! That is awesome in MN too. Keep fishing, don't give up. Good things come with time!
Always love the vids keep up the great content!
Thanks Grant! Glad you been enjoying. Good luck fishing next time your out!
Hello, winter is in your area how many degrees of frost. Super video 👍🏿
Hi From Minnesota! Glad you enjoyed the video. It's not bad right now, 25 Fahrenheit, but Sunday is high of -4 Fahrenheit lol.
Rock & Roll.
Best
Lets go!
Ive never seen this kind of stuff before! It’s super fascinating and i love seeing the vegetation they live in too.
Right! Very fascinating to see the underwater world. I fish some thick vegetation too. Hold tons of fish. Glad you enjoyed. Stay tuned this upcoming ice season for more.
Hey Bryan. Great footage as always. IMHO the best!! Your knowledge is superb! Now maybe being from Minnesota also, I am bias, but maybe not, maybe just a Great channel. Thanks. Stay safe take care. Looking forward to next video. Heading out tomorrow on my lake. Was very slow on Mille Lacs last week. But non the less very enjoyable!
Bob
Thanks Bob! Appreciate the words. I have heard slow on the big pond lately. I am looking to head up there for walleye least once before the season ends. And then i'll be after some late season pike up there. Hoping to get some monsters on the Aqua Vu. Take care and good luck next time out!
dang thats a tank of a bullhead!! and that pike was a ninja for sure!!! love the underwater vids!!!!! moreeeeee! waiting to get out and do some underwater video too!
Right! Biggest bullhead ever seen and that pike was crazy on his ambush! Enjoy your underwater fishing, never know what will come though. I'm headed out this weekend for some polar vortex pike ;)
Holy cow what kind of underwater camera do you use it looks way to good to be real
Aqua Vu HD 7i Pro. This lake is really clear too so with that and the HD, solid clarity. Glad you enjoyed. Take care!
Dude these videos are awsome
Thanks Bassman! Glad you are enjoying them.
Very cool ice fishing some day I will try when up north
Thanks Jerry! Yeah if ever up north gotta give it a try.
Thanks for this man. I was just on the ice and got lil Perch all day, lol saw a big Muskie on my buds camera but he was just crusin through.
Your welcome Dino! Hey perch are fun, better then the skunk! Cool you saw big Muskie, too bad didn't bite! But big fish are smart, they always cruising though. Picky on what they eat.
@@BryanProkuski I caught a Pile through the ice a while ago 8 pound now that was fun lol.
@@dmartinez9668 Awesome! That is a very nice pike! bet is was fun.
@@BryanProkuski yeah dude good times the pike barrel rolled his snout shut hahahaha. The fishing line saved my fingers he was pissed lol.
Great footage and what a tank of a bullhead!
Thanks man. Ya that bullhead was something. Never seen one that big.
Why was the NP's lip messed up? That was a super fast hit, man!!
Not sure. Could of been caught before. But man was that hit fast. Probably my favorite strike still!
Cool shot of the pike.
Right! Came out of no where!
Awesome video man!!
Thanks man. Glad you like it!
It was pretty cool. As soon as that spoon touched that bullhead he chomped it.
Right! Bumped it and Goodbye. Never know what's going through I guess. Makes it fun!
True there
exactually that is awsome he is so good at making these vids
Thanks Daniel! Glad you enjoyed!
I lip grip em like I do bass. They’ll bite down on you but no teeth to poke you. Or you can hold them one handed with your thumb under one pectoral spike and two fingers around the other. But yeah those spikes can get ya if you aren’t careful. Some of them are serrated like on the channels so they can do some damage. But these guys have some nasty slime so its best to wear gloves in case they poke ya you wouldn’t want an infection. I’d say wear gloves and lip grip em, thats what I do. Cheers brother, awesome footage.
Awesome! Thanks for the tip Nate. Ya, I wanted to play safe for sure. I know they can do some damage! What a beast of a bull head though.
Great video. Cheers.
Thanks again Ben!
what is that thing in the corner? a heater?
Yes it is my heater.
5:50 boom
Still my favorite strike!
How far is the camera from the baits?
Probably 2 ft from the jigging spoon and 4-5ft for the Sucker Minnow.
5L02 is that a bullhead?
Yes
@@BryanProkuski nice
How deep is ideal for ice fishing? I'm really new to ice fishing and wanna get more into it
Really depends on what your fishing for. I have been targeting pike and bass lately and I'm that 6-12 ft range. Panfish will come through too but may be suspended deeper.
@@BryanProkuski hey thx for the info I really appreciate it 👍
@@kevinhang1288 Your welcome. Anymore questions just let me know. Good luck!
How do you record your under water camera?
3rd party recording device called AverMedia. I have a link in description and a video on it if you want to check that out.
nice that was
Thanks Jenifer!
That bullhead was way too cocky, glad you took it down a peg.
Showed it who's boss
Cool video. I’ve been on a pike bendor and yesterday was out on the ice with 2 subscribers and we hooked a dang otter 4 times spooled the tip ups in seconds. Craziest thing ever I might post it but worry about people getting pissed😂. He was released and is hookless 💪🏻 you would think after the first 3 times he would smartened up
Thanks Man! That otter sounds like he was hungry and on a mission!
Why are ice fishing rods so small?
Just they way we do it I guess. Can be closer to the hole. 7ft rod would be hard to jig in a shelter lol. It is funny though how we target pike in the summer, biggest rod and bait we got. Winter time, tiny pole, tiny jigs lol.
I’m you fan bc u get pikes
Thanks! Pike are awesome!
Huge bullhead way above average size definitely a trophy fish.
That's a TANK bullhead!
Right! Never seen a bullhead so big thought it might be a catfish.
@resuohmas I have heard that before.
Здравствуйте а в Галандии запрещена рыбалка на живца.
I have heard lot of over seas places its banned. We can used it here in the states.
By the way happy new year
Happy New Year to you as well
By me bullheads are in the gravel pit ponds. People say no way, they are bottom feeders. But when digging they come to the bucket as it stirs up food.
I think of gravel pits too when I hear bull heads. Not this one though. Was on steroids lol
“ is that a bull head or a catfish?” Me, 😞😳🤡
lol.. Couldn't tell at first,. then after swimming around closer, bullhead for sure. Probably not to far from a record too here in MN.
@@BryanProkuski I’d catch all sorts in traps back in the day. I was 11 when we left that house.I trapped almost every day. I caught lots of bull heads
nice man
Thanks Rose!
Bull heads are the absolute best catfish for the pan
Let’s go back out on the ice I was too and caught some Perch this weekend because it’s been constantly freezing up because the highs were in the 20s and lows where around 0 so we got a bit of ice finally!
Hey Perch are fish and good eats too! Lots of cold weather ahead. Everyone is about to have some ice lol.
@@BryanProkuski I know where I live the highs are going to be in the 20s and lows close to 0 can’t wait!
i thought the fish was bigger then that lmao
ikr
Right! Me too. Guess the little ones need to eat too.
Man those Pike don't play. That thing came out of nowhere.
No they don't! I had to watch that couple times to figure out where he even came from. So fast!
good nice g
Thanks man. Glad you enjoyed!
you know there are people out there that have these cameras and then there's a person like you that know just how to use it and you got it going on way to go totally awesome keep up the work but do not look at it as work but as playing and having a good time. 2/22/2022. from Michigan USA. 4:40 PM
Thanks Donald, appreciate it. These cameras are a great tool and I always have a good time out there!
Красава красивый кадр !
I'm surprised that catfish is by himself. They usually swim in groups.
It ended up being a giant bullhead!
It's been 40 yrs, use the steel tongs, Still have scars from pike!
Right! Some of these fish don't mess around. My dad still has a numb finger from a barb probably 40 yrs ago too.
As far as bullhead go that was a trophy size...
Right! State record not too far off on that one.
You would like eelpout fishing
Yes I would! Used to catch them a lot back home. Very fun and cool looking fish at that!
I’m from sw mn that’s definitely a big old bullhead😂
Big old one for sure!
had to rewind 3x on that strike lol
Me too! Happened so fast didn't even realize he was there till he was swimming away with it lol.
@@BryanProkuski first 2 rewind i had no clue where it came from lol talk about a missile strike.
@@youscaredgotochurch Took me couple times too to realize where he came from. Missile for sure!
Yup big baits will get you big fish.
Ice fishing in Northern Saskatchewan, I was harassed by a CO. He wanted to know where I bought my big baits. Said he never seen big baits like mine...
Funny! He should see sucker decoys then lol. Bet you have some good fishing up there. Have fun!
@@BryanProkuski LMFAO...yah stick 20 plus sticks with ribbons tied to the...they scramble around like mice checking each one hoping to find illegal sets....not going to happen... Yup endless area/lakes to fish in Northern Saskatchewan it would seem.... A lot of the areas are only accessible in winter. If you are lucky, you might find a trail. We jug fish on the ice. COs don't like them because the have a hard time locating and seeing them. And of course there are rules... jug fishing, our hole is sometimes 200-300 ft away...but our jug or line is right beside us. Heck of a lot of fun when the ol jug starts skating across the ice...then hand line the fish....crazy... cheaper than a tip-up riggen
It was a bullhead because the tail was not forked like a catfish would be
Thanks for the tip. Yup I confirmed bullhead too. Damn that one was huge for around here!
That pike smoked em
So fast!
It’s my opinion that your lines are too close together. Any fish you gets has great odds of getting entangled in you other line.
Im surprised I haven't got tangled up yet with all the lines close, even camera cord down there. Only got so much room in the hub to work with.
@@BryanProkuski true
I think Bullhead. A cat fish has a more pronouced V in it's tail
It was a Bullhead. But yea I know what your saying about the tail now.
to day we tray 2 lakes NY upstate ,clear nothing
Been there before. Least you have ice and got out. Sounds like late year for alot. Goodluck next time. 3rd lakes a charm!
that pikes been caught before
Definitely has!
Bullheads are mean they bite and sting
I thought so, thats why I held him like that. Heard you can get hurt be them.
Pickles pike.
That’s a cat fish
Ended up being a very large bullhead
Absolute giant bull head
Hi
Hi
That’s a bullhead! There’s tons of them out there... please dispatch them if you catch them, they deny other fish to spawn because they’re very defensive of their beds
that's actually not the proper practice, they're native fish, so they are not supposed to be killed, and are actually a big forage base for many fish
Horrible advice.
Do you know if this was a Black, Yellow or Brown?
@@BryanProkuski Looks to be a brown bullhead, which I think is the biggest of the three, I checked to see the state records for all of them because it's close to the black and yellow records.
@@patrickbennett9511 I thought so too , then looked at the lake survey on line and only yellow and black in this lake. Thinking may be a black then and if so, dang bet gave run for its money on the record.
Your ice looks too thin to be on. 😳
Was about 18"
@@BryanProkuski I stand corrected!
Looked like a dogfish or bowfin.
Ended up being a big bullhead
It looked a bull head
Yup confirmed it. Big one for sure!
I would have eaten that bull head.. Did not look like a catfish to me
lol.. 'm good. But yes it was a bullhead. Big one too for around here.
it's called a catfish bud not a bull head
This one ended up being a giant bullhead! I thought maybe cat at first cuz of the size but just a big ole nasty bullhead. .
Catfish
Ended up being a giant bullhead.
It's a cat.
I thought so at first. Ended up being a massive bullhead!
Jesus loves you
.
Yes he does. Thank you
@@BryanProkuski you’re welcome man
Bull head I thnk
Yup it ended up being a bullhead, not far from a record too it looks.
Boring
Bullhead. I absolutely hate those nasty little things
Yes it was and thats why I held it like that. Big one too.
Catfish
Ended up being a giant bullhead!
Catfish
Confirmed it was a bullhead. Big one at that. Thought it was a catfish lol
