One of the great folk songs of the sixties by Tom Paxton, beautifully interpreted by the Seekers.
Anything the Seekers do or did is a favorite with me. I loved Judith's voice. That girl could sing. R I P Judith, your voice will live on
Let's get a million views for this special lady
Love that picture of Judith in her Navy A-Line. She is always classy!
Rediscovered ya'll...
When I began playing the trumpet, jazz became my focus, then moved to religious music in the 80's which continued till 2016.
Being retired now at 70 by stroke, you've become a great enjoyment...
A brilliant song, sung by a brilliant group. Simple, moving such great harmony.
AT 85 I FOUND A NEW SONG....BUT A MOST FAVORITE GROUP!!
I was only 11 years-old when our beloved Seekers formed in Melbourne in 1962. I recently re-connected with them in 2021 and soon immediately declared them to be my #6 Band of All-Time! Now here in 2022, methinks they shall soon be my #1 Band! 💖🎶 A couple months ago I decided that "Morningside Ride" was my new #1 Song of All-Time. At least temporarily this song shall replace it. As my sweetheart just departed me on 4/1/22, she also promised to return to me on 10/1/22. In the interval, as I give her needed space to heal her broken 💔, I shall pledge to be a better man and husband to her upon her return to me. My broken 💔 heart will also need this time to mend. If you pray, please pray for us and all couples worldwide who are experiencing similar pain and heartache. 😢🙏
That song is Morning Town Ride
1 thing a lot of couples tend to forget is to talk & talk a lot. You should be in love for the duration & it's sometimes too easy to lose sight of yourselves.
Check out Judith’s version of the Lord’s Prayer. It will give you comfort during difficult times.

The best version ever.
Beautiful harmonies ....
Tom Paxton also had a co-writer credit with Bruce Woodley on "Angeline".
One of best songs ever
As good as it gets
THE SEEKERS💖👸🕺👬🌟🤩
Great!🎼🎵🎹🎸🎻🎤📀👍👏
From Hong Kong🙋♀️🌏💝🌺🥰
Still fresh
Beautiful!❤
Tom Paxton at his best, by the best.
Saw him at Portsmouth many years ago.
Tom Paxton. A brilliant musician so underrated.
Tremendous
Excellent - Thanks!
My father and I used to do folk music and puppet shows for the local Sheltered Workshop. This was one of the songs we did together. It always haunted me. But it's beautiful, those harmonies are just gorgeous.
Nowadays, music is quantized, auto tuned, equalized, sanitized, and sterilized. Nobody can sing without being processed into computerized oblivion on a pentatonic chord progression.
It's sad. So many songs of power have gone unwritten and unsung.
Thanks for the post with lyrics!
NUN BETTER !!!!!
Judith Durham was a great singer but stop it with the love in on this song. Bruce Woodley sang lead vocals and played lead guitar. Judith helped with the harmonies (beautifully) but this song is about Bruce Woodley, not Judith Durham.
My current favorite Seekers song; it changes all the time, lol. The harmonies on this give me chills every time.
I Love All their Songs: I would have Loved to Sing with them!!! I am an Everyday Joe, I am an Everyday Man: I am #kyjoe!!! #kyjoe from Lou, KY USA Joe
Wow I never get tired of this group.
