I'm thinking about building a cinewhoop. I have a Tyro79 laying around, and wanted to use its parts in this project. I wanted to use the 95x V2 frame with it. Do you think it could work?
I have the pnp analog version of the beta95x, what a pain it is to add a receiver. To mount the receiver you have to take it all apart including the motors. My kit didn't include the 4 pin cable, so I had to direct solder the tbs nano to the uart1 instead of 3. I noticed your USB port is facing down, on mine it faces up, and there is a hole through the carbon plate which you then plugin your USB. great video, I wish I had gone digital, I'm getting a lot of video break up on mine.

Hey, great video! Just one question: the DJI camera mount you're using, where did you get that? My conversion kit, sadly, came with a mount for the Nebula...If you could share the stl, it would be awesome.
The GoPro already has a 5V BEC so the input needs to be higher. I've already killed a GoPro powering directly from the battery to the 5V BEC so I'm not taking any chances now. My guess is the BetaFPV BEC couldn't handle a voltage spike.

Additional BEC get up to 4.2v of single battery cell from balance lead, converts it to 9v and deliver it to betafpv BEC input.

I'll make a short video about how to do the BEC. It's really simple. You can power the BetaFPV BEC with another BEC. Maybe it's overkill but I killed a Hero6 board already by powering the BetaFPV BEC directly from the battery.

They aren't close enough to concern me. Dropping the motors any lower will extend them below the ducts and may cause takeoff issues if the screws scrape against the ground.

Do you mean a naked Hero7? It'll work fine on hypersmooth and you may even get a decent result with Reelsteady Go if the vibrations aren't too bad. A full Hero7 is too heavy though.
@@robertogiannotta4477 I'm sure you can work it out, but it may require some trial and error. I don't want to steer people down that path due to all the problems it causes.
All my Betaflight settings are in the written guide. I prefer to release them there because I tend to make adjustments and a video would be too static.

I seem to be the only one that if I'm use Vista I'm just use that as recording. If I plan smo 4k I'll use analog and save weight.. its very small drone

@@winteriscoming4379 I can't say whether or not that will will fit the frame. In my case the capacitor is part of the plug where the battery connects. You may want to have a look at the Beta95X V3 frame and the board they made for that.

I don't think those parts will work. Those motors are designed for a larger quad.

Yeah I wouldn't have it any other way. This is pretty much my dream 95X V2 as I think the BNF version falls short in a few places.
Nice video! Can you give some extra info on how to make the balance lead connector for the naked gopro?
Maybe I'll make a video about it. It's really just any BEC that can do more than 5v from 4S.

You can try it, but I don't believe you'll have RPM filters unless you flash a special firmware to your ESCs. I never touch my throttle curve.

Is it an HV battery? You might need to adjust the battery warning levels.

Why did you set additional BEC for GoPro to 9V?
I thought GoPro needs 5V to power from USB port.

Great tutorial with very effective instructions. One question though: why ditching the yellow cable?
It's problematic. Many people have issues with it. It's better just to start and stop the camera manually.

You could conformal coat the electronics, but I'm not sure how you'd do that to the DJI parts. I probably wouldn't try it.
What printer settings did you use for the antenna holder ? Not sure what Infill %

I think I only used 20%. There's not much to infill really.

Apparently they were short in inventory of this stack so they used an alternative in some of the models.

I just used the ones included with the kit. They're the silver phillips head screws with a sharp point.
