No offence intended but, I am completely blown away that Electric Guitar could sound just like the Violin in the Chorus...
Guess I have alot more to learn about em.
That mind blown aside though, this is absolutely awesome and only deepens my love for the sound of Electric Guitars.
And btw? Yours looks gorgeous and so badass!
Its a pedle combo, its a chorus and auto reverb. With a light distortion to give it that beautiful soulful voice.
He also has what are called active pickups.
Most guitars have what are called passive pickups.
They share power from the amp and are literally just electro tesla coil wraps with a magnet inside. (The magnet picks up the vibrations and the potentiamiters inside translate that to sound.)
Thats why most guitars sound basic.
Actives have very powerful nyodyniniam magnets in them. As well as microphones that pick up 100x more info from the string vibrations. (And have more powerful potentiamitors.)
And since its powered by its own 9v battery it means that the power level is consitant meaning clearer crisper and or opratic pernounciation of notes.
The draw back is that you HAVE to keep active pickups powered on always basically. (The guitar wont work without a 9v if it has actives.)

^^ you get a bit enthusiastic with active pickups. EMG uses the same magnets that everybody else does. It can reduce noise and boost low and especially high frequencies a bit.
Chorus and Reverb really help to make it sound like a violin, but Steve Vai has some violiny sounds and Jason Richardson covered The Arena von Lindsey on his MusicMan.
I almost died with joy when I first heard the song (Lzzy and Lindsey are two of my fav artists). But throwing a kickass electric guitar on top of it? THIS IS AMAZEBALLS.
