    They recorded that album in Curtis Mayfield's house? Oh I didn't know that. I wanted to know how that came about. It would have been dope if Curtis produced a record for GM or at least had some input on "Soul Food".
    Imagine what the game would have looked like if Curtis had lived and more people in our era sought him out for advice and input. That's legendary right there. We talking The Impressions. We are talking some of the dopest soundtracks in history. Claudine! Superfly! Sparkle! The man's talents is unparalleled.
    Oh finding out that GM recorded that album in Curtis Mayfield's house is literally a beautiful history fact and sadly most of you will overlook it.

    Im in the U.K and Ive been trying to find or buy this album on vinyl LP since 1995. Im in my mid 40s now and im still willing to pay good money to anyone who can get me a copy this momumental piece of work.     I recall that the Source Magazine gave 'Soul Food' 5 mics back in the day which was one of only a few groups to have that honor! I'm 57 yrs old and still rock it in the gym several times a week. An all-time classic regardless of eras or type of music...

    The Album still remains as one Hip Hop true Masterpieces!!! I encourage all especially in these times who haven't listen to this album to do it asap.. Goodie Mob so ahead of the conscious rap game back in 1995..That album I think really scared the shit out of the mainstream media. To this day I think that why the group was split up and Celo Green was elevated out of the group go figure...

    I can attest to his words man listening them now that I’m older I understand the words and messages in the song. The power they had with their songs was always amazed by OutKast superstardom for sure, but GOODIE MOB IS THE GOSPEL.
