Well that's dang cool. I live in Saint Clair Shores. Do you have any stories or info about the record-pressing that is going on in Det? Please comment and/or friend me on FB, user DeanLach
No doubt you independently came up with your witty comment without having seen the comment below written one year earlier "Jack White is like the Willy Wonka of Rock 'N Roll" I mean how fucking pathetic and desperate for attention and 'likes' can you be?
Not the biggest fan of his music but huge admirer of his advocacy for analog music & quality vinyl pressings. He's a record collector's best friend in the music industry.
@@devilmay That isn't always true. It's completely contextual. It is more than possible to not like a certain aspect of someone or something, but also really respect and enjoy another aspect of the same person. It's called nuance. And I am a die hard Jack White fan. lol But music is subjective.
I'm from Argentina, I did some analog recording in the 80's and 90's, I bealive analog sounds real is the whole thing! Thats becouse I Will put on tape my next record. Got My gear almost ready...🎉❤ Next I Will need to find a place to cut all analog... Since 99 per cent of vinyl is cut from digital nowadays...A nonsense Isnt it?
That touch at the end when he gave the kid the money was straight from Jacks heart, incredible man John Peel would be so bloody proud of his achievements.
It's a lousy movie loved by critics but hated by moviegoers at the time it was released, starring and directed by Orson Welles before he got fat. Rosebud
this is actually the coolest fucking thing, it also just shows what a nice guy Jack can be too, giving the sale of his first few records to that kid :') also Alison's brief cameo was adorable
Yeah, the first time I saw Jack was at The Raconteurs 2019 at The Ryman. Was blown away! So talented!! My hubby is taking me to his show on the 30th of April. Can’t wait!!!
Saw this story in PASTE. Jack and Third Man Records raw and in touch with the groove. Keep vinyl alive and hopefully Pono will be everything I expect it to be as well. FEEL THE MUSIC, AGAIN...and for the first time digitally (fingers crossed).
If you look back at it all - The White Stripes, Raconteurs, Dead Weather, the songs, every little thing about Jack White (at least the things he cares to say in interviews) - you sort of start to get him. For instance his obsession with the number three - it's clear he is a huge Orson Welles fan: The Third Man, and Citizen Kane. And yes, out of his obsession for Citizen Kane, he sort of became the Charles Foster Kane of music - look at this...empire that he's built! Absolutely amazing.
Excelente compositor, músico y guitarrista virtuoso. Pero como en todo siempre habrá algún imbécil que no reconoce el talento por mas evidente que sea. Que siga haciendo su trabajo como hasta ahora...para mi de lejos el mejor de esta generación.
I also love the fact that he gave the money that was payed for those first three copies to that kid in the crowd! :) He has style, class, and a ridiculous amount of talent!
That's my pawpaw cutting the vinyl!! best man in the business!!!

I fucking love Jack White!

this pretty much brought me to tears, not that I really like the music at all just respect for analog passion
whenever someone says "but" the preceding words have no relevance.
Well I have been a Jack White since I heard “Dead Leaves And Dirty Ground”

The future is bright for the vinyl community thanks to Jack White and the people at Third Man Records. Keep it up, please :)
The Willy Wonka Of Music.
More like CFK.
MalloryJacobPacheco who?
If you have to ask, you will never know. Mallory is referring to Citizen Kane - Charles Foster Kane, CFK
PartiZAn18 I haven't seen citizen Kane so I don't care xd

Nazareno Castro Sorry, that comment made no sense; and also, there is no sense in arguing, just enjoy.
that was great. him giving the money to that kid in line
new pick-ups on that tele, nice.
I noticed that too. Looks like he's put a humbucker in the neck position.
Shane Fell i think its actually a toaster pickup. sort of like a compromise between the two
+Darrien Day more like Filtertron, Gretch's humbuckers
I've probably watched this video twenty-something times and it still brings a smile each time. Awesome!
I love him. I hope that kid bought records with that money.
this is actually the coolest fucking thing, it also just shows what a nice guy Jack can be too, giving the sale of his first few records to that kid :') also Alison's brief cameo was adorable
